The Cough, aka Collins Cough, aka Hawthorne Cough is a keeper pheno NLxHaze cross from the SSSC. One of my favorite all time smokes and supposedly one of the best all time yielders as well... its an 11-13 weeks strain... 13 weeks pays off from what I understand.

I will be running a pair of Cough moms in the GH (and then have to light dep them for a few more weeks) and then put out a late season batch in the greenhouse. I figure I will put them out in mid July and take em down around Thanksgiving.

Luv the 'Bago!

Got an 80's model Chevrolet-framed Class-A myself, in fact, about to build a 400-watt CMH grow room out of the shower. Been to a few gatherings with the kids in it! :)

That Cough sounds nice. I wonder how it would grow under CMH.

Wow Nomaad that is one cool looking greenhouse and the snow wow! I thought you were in Norcal:) I am super curious to see what those soil samples turn out like. Just a thought, you should send in some samples amending with Bat Guano and/or Kelp Meal. I have been experimenting a little with both and I think you could easily use your last year's soil, the guanos depending on what type supply a 10-12 N-P-K. Which is totally efficient. Good luck I look forward to seeing some ladies in that sick greenhouse.

I can't take credit for "making my own GH"... i ordered some customization on an otherwise off-the-shelf solution....

So we worked for another couple of hours on the frame and ran out of height on our ladders. I will have a new one tomorrow in the middle of the day and the main work on the frame will be done. I have to remove some struts to install the two doors but, assuming that the cover arrives by Friday, there is a good chance there will be plants in the GH by the end of the weekend.

It is starting to get late to put out a run with no light dep. The likelihood is that I will have to pull tarp (though it will not need to be a zero lumen environment like my post-may boxes) for a week or two at the end. No biggie. I am going to run two very large Cough moms that will have to have tarp pulled for close to a month.

Are you asking which one to go with? If that is the case #4 sounds like the winner to me.. Also if your using last years soil do you, and this sounds crazy maybe.. Because its a shitload of soil clean it out of old roots or do you leave it and will it affect or not affect the growth? I until this year recycled my soil as well nothing near the mass you have, but i cleaned out all that soil and then let it sit out with amendments till i needed it.. always worked for me.. Until this year my lil ones were dieng off and not cos it was to hot of soil i used the same recipe for the last 3-4 yrs now.. So i have totally 86'ed the old soil and i am trying the happy frog with my old recipe of additives.. see how it works out so far so good.. anyhow I am rambling and prolly not making sense.. peace n puffs..

No... I was going to send in 4 samples because I have 4 sample bags, but PVGS has told me I can send shit in in a ziploc.... so I am sending 5. My question was whether anybody thought those four samples would give me the data I seek or if they thought I should tweak the list to get more pertinent results.

Not sure how I feel about the roots in last year's soil, but I was thinking a lot about it when I was digging up samples... I am going to see what happens if I hit it with a striong dose of hygrozyme. That stuff is supposed to digest dead roots. I will run an experiment today.

If the Sonoma Compost Featherlite tests anything like the fresh Roots mix, I will go with it. I'll probably go with it anyway, considering that my homegirl pulled 4 lbs off a 100 gallon smarty with the same Blue Dream cut I am running. That's a pretty solid endorsement. It also costs $26/yard plus delivery for their highest end stuff. I used 14 yards last year. I used bag dirt and it cost me 7 times that. I'm overthinking a no-brainer, I know, but I'm doing it more in the name of science and understanding than anything else...

i've got a couple more seasons in me, but living in the USA is taking its toll. dramalandia. I gotta bet the fuck out before my kids become douchebags.

The drama here in Cali has gotten terrible, I'm looking towards Montana myself, got some family up there. I want to live where the men are men and the sheep are scared!

I like how your going the extra mile to dial in your grow, so many people get lazy, once the money starts rolling in.

yeah. i like the idea of montana too. I have some good friends, and I believe that the vibe up there would suit me. My wife has supported me on every move so far, but I don't think she'll make the move to Big Sky Country.

The plan is to move to Spain before my daughter is into boys. I lived there for a few years in the 90's and have been planning a triumphant return ever since.

Spain seems like a nice place, from what I've seen on tv. Legal growing, fine dining, great culture, good weather and the beach all in one place. If the fishing is good it would be paradise.

Are the inland waters good fishing in Spain?

Good luck this year. Cali is a bad ass state. Plenty of people grew up here with out being douchebags..most the people that live in cali and suck are the ones that moved here from some where else and give Californians a bad name.

The transition from Bobby Brown to OG Kush can be shocking on some peoples mental wiring

The growers are not the douchebags of which I speak. I am referring to the whining useless consumers... I have just been living in the cloud forest for too long.
