thought the first few seasons where cool, way to many weird trippy plot turns all the time now.
But still the show is cool.

i think the writers got a little lost a couple of times there lol... i dont care what the producers or writers say, SOME OF THAT SHIT WAS FILLER lol 
but what will piss me off even more than their off-the-wall plotlines is the possibility that i'll HATE the finale, and then "take it out" on the rest of the show... if that makes any sense lol

That episode was boggling. A couple good wrenches thrown into my brain (biggest being that flash sideways Ben and father DID go to the island and then left for some reason? I guess it's likely this is what would have happened had the losties never came. And Alex being Ben's student? This alternate reality is far out.)
I'll admit though, I like where the season is going. I knew Widmore would be making his appearance again (I'll assume Desmond will be an episode or 2 in tow), noo way you can just drop his involvement in everything. Going to assume he'll end up with the jacob clan.
Best part was Mile's reaction to Illana being all 'you killed the closest thing I had to a father':
"Oh no..."

Verrry good episode. I skipped out on work early too Arctic! You're not alone on that ship. Told my client I had run out of copper fittings... I always have copper.
Speaking of ships though. I guess the ship from the S5 finale is a different ship? Or maybe the black rock circled the island a while, before the storm? Because there was no super statue smashing hurricane going on when Jacob and MIB were shootin the shit on the beach.
Really dug the wine bottle and cork metaphor; it gave a good clue to what the island is about. This episode was a good change from the same old faces and stories.

yeah i was blown away by this episode, seriously. tricky tricky writers lol. They repeatedly said, for years, "no, the island is not hell, or heaven, or purgatory, or a dream"... but the smoke monster/cerberus thing makes a LOT more sense now
about that other ship in the S5 finale... its probably exactly how jacob was saying "there have been many ships" after ricardo's ship crashed.. how in the fuck did widmore get magnus hanso's journal i wonder?
i pretty much loved every single second of this episode. spoiler:
when ricardo gives the MIB the white stone, i was like "what the fuck, its a fucking GAME"... it seems to me that jacob and MIB are taking the story right out of the bible... God thinks that his people are inherently good, while Satan thinks that people/man is corruptible... they need something to pass the time while they guard the hell.............. it looks to me that Jacob is like an angel or some shit, and MIB must be a fallen angel or someone getting punished... that's why he has to be the smoke monster. he's guarding hell, not because he WANTS to, but because that's his sentence/punishment for whatever he did.
there's a lot more, i know it... i just cant piece it all together hey Randy, i'm glad i'm not the only one to dip out on work early lol... i just hope i dont get fired for it! i literally JUST started this job a few days ago
