Growing with LEDs in a 2x4 Tent

Will there be a final yield reported once all the buds are dried? It seems to me like you had a pretty nice yield for ~250W of light, and I know I'd love to find out what you ended up with in grams per watt ;)

I have to jar everything up Saturday - I'm hoping they'll be dry by then. Hopefully I'll have time to post up some weights but it all depends on how much we can get done in our place this week - we have to be out Sunday and we'll be driving 1200 miles once we're done.... I hate moving!

Quick update - we're all packed up and ready to start our drive tomorrow. not looking forward to the 2 days of driving...

Anyhow, onto the good news, we hit 4.25zips. The buds were fairly fluffy and I saw 1 seed which means I must have a light leak somewhere. With the problems we had and the short run I am very happy. I definitely want to give these lights from HydroGrowLED a few more runs. I think they will continue to amaze me.

Cost breakdown: 4.25 x $320 = $1360 is what we would have paid for this from our buddies who get it out of humbolt. $450x2=$900 for the lights, $175 for the tent, $50 for the fan and I already had the scrubber/nutes/ferts/soil.... So that is $1125 spent on this grow + electricity. We saved approx $225 and got 4 dozen cookies out of it.

Anyhow, we've been smoking and boy does it taste good, right now its sweet, still a bit wet so it burns longer - the high is great and heady.

Well. I'm off to bed, its been a long day and my back is killing me. thank goodness for the 4 dozen cookies we have... they are working great for the pain.

Awesome! That's not disappointing at all IMO, especially with a kind of early cut. I just moved 2,800 miles last week as well, I know all about that. Good thing I was able to bring some from-the-old-location goodness with me as well. I will blaze one for your success, and I look forward to seeing mroe pulls from you Synax.

Are you sure your scale is accurate? There seemed honestly like more nuggage than that! Still a pretty grow, and all that matters in the end is that you are happy with it :)

4.25 oz = ~120.5g from 126 watts of light brings us to 0.95 gpw (as long as I'm correct on the numbers). Considering an early cutdown, I'd say this looks pretty nice for LEDs. But only on a watt for watt basis, which is all that really matters, as the LEDs become cheaper than HIDs in the long run (lamp replacement, big fans, etc.)

That said, the nugs looked very nice and I'm willing to bet the quality is excellent.

Nice work!

We arrived safely at our new location. The trip was long but we had cookies to put us to sleep in the shitty hotel we stayed in for 7.5hrs. Scale has been tossed (moving with fresh buds was bad enough, I was not about to have a scale in the car as well) and it was tested with nickels and it was accurate.

The buds are pretty airy. I've got a 1gal pickle jar thats about 2/3 full of fresh homegrown bud that smokes damn well for being cut down a week ago. It'll just get better with age.

Anyhow, thanks to everyone who has stopped by and commented. It makes posting much more enjoyable. Now we just have to get setup for our next run... contemplating hydro.

Sorry man, but on GC you were causing troubles and sneering in LED threads, and what do I find, you here doing the same thing... If I can find a way to ignore you on the forums I will.

Have a nice day, and read my signature.

Some people have to be negative about everything. Even if it doesn't involve them.... It is what it is.....
