First I want to thank Rez and Head for their threads and help they have given me since I've switched to coco without specific nutrients and without them this wouldn't have been possible. Thank You! to Head for originally doing the math for me and coming up with the 6/10 formula I use and telling me about the calculator over at cannastats and Thank You! to Rez for posting all his info on what he used in his nutrient mixes and it's with that right there that I'm able to give you all this thread :dance013:

Alright folks so like the title says I've come as close as possible to the nutrient profile that Rez uses with the stuff I have laying around until I can get some Kool Bloom Powder and the GH Micro and Bloom to see which is better. But until then this is what I'm doing, if you got the Cutting Edge Solutions samples like a lot of us did last summer listen up! You will also need a bottle of Liquid Kool Bloom and lets get started!
THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED I MADE A MISTAKE BUT IT'S ALL FIXED!!
The profile for the Recipe by Rez with 6ml Micro 9ml Bloom with GH 3part is..
(N) 97
(P) 60
(K) 105
(Mg) 27
(S) 41
(Ca) 97

And my mix of Cutting Edge Solutions Micro and Bloom at 6/10 is...
(N) 95
(P) 69
(K) 110
(Mg) 26
(S) 53
(Ca) 79

and when you add the 5ml Plant Amp and 2.5ml Mag Amped the profile changes to...
(N) 95
(P) 69
(K) 110
(Mg) 33
(S) 79
(Ca) 92

Now I'm no expert but I'd say that's pretty damn close yea? Or just leave out the Mag Amped and it's on point!! I just looked it over again and it would be like this with out the Mag Amped...
(N) 95
(P) 69
(K) 110
(Mg) 26
(S) 53
(Ca) 92
and that my friends is Urkles CES version of the Rezipe!!! The mix you want to use to achieve that profile above is this...
6ml Micro
10ml Bloom
5ml Plant Amp

I'm patting myself on the back big time for that one!
Ok now lets get to the Powdered Kool Bloom slam he does on the beginnings of week 3 5 and 6...
When he add's the 5g or 1tsp of Powdered Kool Bloom the profile changes to this ...
(N) 123
(P) 319
(K) 412
(Mg) 40
(S) 61
(Ca) 97

So with the Liquid Kool Bloom the closet we can get profile wise is
(P) 161
(K) 307

add that to my profile with 5ml Plant Amp and 2.5ml Mag Amped and we get
(N) 95
(P) 230
(K) 417
(Mg) 39
(S) 86
(Ca) 92

Not sure how to boost the N without throwing everything else off unless I can figure some way with the Grow bottle but for now that is as close as we can get with CES and Liquid Kool Bloom I hope this helps some folks out...
So here's the final mix

VEGETATIVE STAGE AT 24 HRS. LIGHT ON
(18/6,optional)

Veg,Feed:

6ml CES micro
10ml CES bloom
5ml Plant Amp

Use the above 1/2-strength on seedlings and clones to 10" tall, then feed full-strength>on.

Based on 63 day 12/12 Flower Cycle:

Day 1-14
6ml micro
10ml bloom

Day 15-21
6ml micro
10ml bloom
14ml Liquid Kool Bloom (ONE FEED,DAY 15!)
5ml Plant Amp
2.5ml Mag Amped

Day 22-28
6ml micro
10ml Bloom

Day 29-35
10ml Bloom
14ml Liquid Kool Bloom (ONE FEED,DAY 29!)

Day 36-52
9 ml Bloom
5ml Plant Amp
2.5ml Mag Amped
(AND ON DAY36,a 14ml Liquid Kool Bloom Slam!!)

Day 52-63 (Flush)
5.5-6.0 pH h20 at 50 ppm

That should do it a pretty close job to Rez's newly modified and always changing Recipe :tiphat: Thanks again to Head and Rez for sharing the secrets they've unlocked in growing cannabis in coco with GH Micro and Bloom and of course Rez's new 10-15% increase in yield modification with the Kool Bloom Powder and I'm hoping I can get similar results with the 14ml Liquid Kool Bloom...

Well Rez starts using the Powder on day 15 for the 1 time feed he does instead of using 7ml of Liquid Kool Bloom for 7 days it's 1tsp Powdered Kool Bloom on days 15,29,36

Oh you talking about using 1/4 tsp the week before flush? I saw a guy post about that in Rez's The Recipe thread and said that following the Recipe and then doing that 1/4 for the week before flush gave him the sparkling buds and that fattened up even more if I remember correctly...

I have decided to make a thread Listing the actual fertilizer amounts in common plant food formulas.

Often the bottles list X/Gal will yield Y ppm. This is very inaccurate, because of the different scales associated with ppm. I have seen plenty of people get burned (and burn there plants) using the bottle listed ppm.

So how do I know which scale the manufacturer is using?

I don't, so lets forget that part of the bottle.

Let us also forget about Vegging at xxxxppm and flowering at xxxx ppm. Some products do not register on a ppm meter and some register higher than the listed NPK (for example, Liquid Karma raises the ppm a lot, compared to the actual amount of fertilizer/Food in contains. Most of the reading is from the 'Non-Plant Food Ingredients' Humic Acid, Aloe Vera, etc). So saying i want to flower at 1500ppm is sort of rediculous, because Cal-Mag+ and Liquid Karma, will add a lot more to your ppm without adding much to your 'feeding' program.

So instead of that, I will look else where and shoot for Lucas/pH's Formula
N100 P100 K200 Mg60

I will focus on the liquid weight of the product (ml/g), the Guaranteed Analysis, and the listed application rate, to derive the true NPK of the fertilizer. All three are normally listed on the bottle, and there is a handy little calculator for just this task.
http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/fourtwenty/articles/profiles.htm
Now I can easily see what the real profiles of my nutrients.

Once again, just to reiterate, an N 50 P 25 K 25, is a TRUE ppm of 100, but a 100 ppm reading will not equal N 50 P 25 K 25 (or some other combo equaling 100). Not all elements will register on a meter. SO IT IS A MUST TO UNDERSTAND YOUR NUTRIENT BOTTLES.

Here I will list the Product Name, its' listed NPK (some formulas change {The AN Overdrive, i just purchased, is the old Formula}), its ml/g weight, and either a 10ml or 5ml per Gal application rate(for easy math).

The ingredients list Magnesium Phosphate and Magniesium Sulfate, so there is defiently some Mg and S in this mix, but its not listed, and as another side note, no Ca listed anywhere.

Don't throw out your ppm meter, you can still track the ppm(or preferable the EC, now that you know the differece) up or down, just worry more about the day to day, up or down change, and less about a specific number.

This might be of use for people with similar goals.

(IF you were unaware, the blue button at the top of the quote takes you to the thread the post is from.)

While it's got the same nutrient profile... why call it The Recipe at all?

It's using nutes in the proper ratios to give the plants what they need.

Yea that is nice to see the Profiles for all the Botanicare shit I got thanks, so I am kinda confused here is he saying what the bottle says when I enter it into the calculator is wrong?

I don't know... didn't you say h3ad taught you how to use the calculator? I'm going to bed... be back tomorrow. :tiphat:

Edit: You might want to clarify the bottom of your first post a bit... maybe put CES in front of each micro and bloom, since you copied Rez's feeding schedule layout it looks just about identical... might confuse some people. :dunno:

yea something like that....good to know i will see some results

fertz arrived today so will have to work out what day im at and put the (1st ready) C99 on their own rez tank and hit them with some new fertz :D .HH. =]-~

Pretty much not hands on or anything but I figured out what he was doing and then asked him if I was doing it right and he said yes and it was also how he figured out his ppms.. Shit if I was in RO water I'd REALLY know my ppms but now I have to guess and be off by 20-40 which isn't too bad I guess.. Holy shit it's 2am I'm going to bed to time for some of that famous Blue Dream full melt I get the personals of and this time I got some really nice honey oil with it at the bottom of the container so I'm bout to smoke myself stupid!!! Till tomorrow...

Cool thread Thundur. I wish I could figure out the formula as we can not get any CES in this area.

So work with what you have available to you, that's kinda the point of this thread. Figure out the exact nutrient contents of whatever you have, and then adjust the amounts to make it suit your needs.

Do you input what the label says for each nutrient and then add them up manually?
Until you get what you want? and the right ratio's?

Yup that's exactly how you do it.. What I did was got a lil note pad and wrote down each analysis for all my bottles labeled and all. That way it's really easy to do each one cuz you want to do each bottle individually for example I write out the
N
P
K
Mg
S
Ca
and do a column for each bottle I'm using in the mix and go across writing in the ppms as I go and then add each row up and I get my profile easy peasy...

Just so folks know I made a mistake when I copied my stuff down but I fixed all the numbers a lil bit a ago after redoing each part of my mix so be sure to look..
