I still think that Poland is too conservative and religious for any changes but seeing that the whole EU is starting to accept personal drug use will definetly help a bit in our conservative country :)

Due to the blindness of our single countries, all we can do is to hope in a superior authority like EU. In recent years my government has "pirated" and then faked dutch studies on cannabinoids effects, just to justify the urgence of their new more prohibitionist laws.

In the end this report will be skipped, as usual, by higher politicians with vague agruments like "we are not ready yet"...

The future is in realising we are free to do as we peacefully please, instead of begging politicians to allow us, like they are our parents. When we stop behaving like children they will have to stop treating us like so... We are obviously ahead of the general curve here, they are finally reporting what we have known forever... I think we've been waiting for them long enough.

Sure, the EU is going to relax...

Maybe a few years after the US does.

I don't see France on board, let alone a lot of protestant-run countries.

There are still countries in the EU where you can be incarcerated for failing a pee test or for telling children weed is harmless.

Not this one..... ;)

Does a little dance!
Sprouts some celebratory seeds.... all medicinal- one for every vote of understanding.

Sends a shout out of thanks to all the delegates, all the overgowers, and mostly to the medicinal patients for whom this celebratory dance is swung....

One step closer to having our medication freed from the hands of oppressors....

FREE THE WEEDS~

:)

where I live (a EU country) cops seize roaches and you must pay a fine from 40-200€....a friend of mine was charged 200€ for the possesion of 1 MILLIGRAM of weed ! The cop pulled the filter from his mouth and they analized the residue....the laws are stupid....for possesion of larger quantities (even a few kilos) you can go to jail for 30 days max, but for 1 joint you pay 200€....the laws against drugs are not made to make people stop using them, but to get more money from potheads....and the situation wont change...thay can talk about everything they want....but the situation will still be fucked up.

The EU is a federation of member states, there needs to be state law to make this happen, that means legislation in the house of Commomns then lords and a whole shit storm. conversly, EU member states have soverignty over certain areas of legislation eg tax, defence. Drug policy would certainly fall under this category, very few aspects of EU law have been adopted or enforced throughout member states, it aint gonna happen now or any time soon, be happy with the Dam, Spain and now Czech Rep.:2cents:

Masters of our own destinies....

Keeps dancing~

Sry kiree~ sounds brutal- reminds me of why it is best to take "the long way" when going to Spain.

I'll admit it's a long trail ahead- but it is a battle well worth my time and honor...

MMJ all the way! (Super big smiles)

well the laws differ from country to country in the eu, and as well from "state to state" in a country... comparing france to tchech republic is like night and day, if you get my drift... BUT it seems that in general, things are SLOWLY changing for the better... (at least i hope)
