They are making tanning beds illegal for teens in Texas. Some kids these days are abusing tanning and someday will get skin cancer. I have lived along the Gulf Coast most of my adult life before there was sprays and lotions to protect from sun's UV Rays and I have already had a squamous cell carcinoma removed from my face.
This new TANAREXIA is not a good trend as it will early age your skin and cause cancer.

^Bruddas gotta point. I happen to be eating an orange, peel and all, (organic, don't go eating conventional orange peelage, pesticides ahoy) and I've read that theres UV Ray cancelling properties in the peel.

That being spit, I think the tanning thing is taken too far when someone thinks they need to be tan to shine. Shit, all they have to do is have said good diet (and a nice happy smiley mood maintained) and they'll glow without the tan.

I'm pretty sure a diet won't save you from skin cancer when you're forcibly irradiating yourself on a weekly+ basis.

This is an incredibly stupid trend; people are risking their health to create a false image. Very weak and vain.

We don't need the law to intervene, natural selection is a good thing. We've done too much to stop idiots from killing themselves already.

Yea the girl I'm in love with has this problem and think she needs to be fucking brown like she's Indian but she's a Blonde haired white girl. She looks absolutely gorgeous with her skin normal I think these tanning addicts look funny when they get all super dark and what not.. Plus cancer is no joke and the short amount of time of looking "shiney and cinnamon" isn't worth the amount of time you will spend in the hospital treating your skin cancer..

Good point guys and as I said granny has already had one cut off so I wear sunglasses to protect from cataracts and sun protection lotion and protective make up base....and lots of wide brimmed hats to protect me from the wicked sun. White is OK anyhoo..

^LOL... ya a fake tan - that "orange look" - is such a big turnoff. It just looks so unnatural.

My mother had to have potentially cancerous tissue removed from her. It may not seem like it will now, but abusing your skin via UV rays will definitely catch up to you.

wtf is wrong with people today? a lot of girls have so many things going for them, but they squander it on trying to be like the plastic people they see on television. its so hard to find good looking women that don't have retardo-obsessive issues with keeping up some sort of an image. makes me glad to be a male and have most of my decisions predetermined by the amount of testosterone flowing through my body at the time. my balls seem to tell me that tanning is for people who are spoonfed "culture" and base most of their interests on whatever commercial media tells them.

Somehow, people stopped selecting mates for the positive evolution of the human race. With this, I think we have been de-evolving for some time now. Seriously ladies, THE SUN IS FREE!!!!
