I use 1000 watt HPS lights for flowering. 3 of them.

Gang,CC has seventeen Bic lighters that he's strung together,& that's really how he gets the results he gets....
I tried to get him to use LEDs,or at least flashlights....and he just laughed and pointed a shotgun at me,then showed me the door....
Lumens per sq foot. More gets more. 1k lights have better penetration then a 400
How many sq feet are you running 3000 watts over CC? (If you dont mind my asking)

Oh CC wouldnt point a shotgun at anybody, hes too damn nice! LOL Now as for the Bics.....Maybe Rez has some inside information
Cheers guys, thats where I have been going wrong all these years. Time to replace the Clippers and get some Bics.
Troll, I would have to say all aspects of the pot are better when grown with stronger light. 
But it's not just light... it's everything. It's seeing a problem and fixing it... fast... completely. It's noticing negative trends in your plants and adjusting your fire accordingly. It's seeing positive trends in your plants and reinforcing the conditions that caused the positive trend. Most of all... what it is... is... very hard to teach. The best results come after years of painful trial and error... A growing pro can help point you in the right direction, but ultimately it is the individual person's drive and dedication that determines the quality of his or her herb. No way around it. But... for resin production... Light intensity, temperature, and humidity are the main aspects to dial in.

Dr. Purpur How many sq feet? Well... I haven't measured it since I built it years ago... so I'll have to guess... maybe 130 sq feet? In that space, however, I fit only about 18-24 plants. I like tall, fat, round plants. Many reasons for that... but mainly because 24 plants sure doesn't sound very impressive in a court of law. Should it ever get to that point... which you have to plan for, no matter how unpleasant the thought may be. My plant numbers are always below the felony mark... always! Larger plants = less plants per room. Less plants = less trouble in most places. Even in Spain.

I finally scored some of Rezs seeds. I got a pack of the Chem D SD early this am. Now I see that the 4SD is up.
I keep them in case we ever need to torch the place in a hurry.
If I burn my finger one more fucking time,there will most certainly be a "hurry"....
And btw,you bring me warm bottled water one more fucking time,and I'm going to insist on Mountain Dew.... Cheap prick.
