Hey funkbomb do you have any insight on lowes/hd nutrients that worked well? and how often did you feed with it (is it just when the flower seems to slow down growth or a precise cycle) Thanks.

ditch the big box stores and go to a local nursery. you're bound to find some pro-mix or sunshine soils. if neither of those, just ask for a peat-based organic potting soild and go from there.

I have to agree with cjk here. I tried looking for Sta-Green and couldn't find it. Used Miracle Gro for a while until we realized it wasn't doing good for the plants. So we went to a local nursery and now use a Sunshine mix. Almost 3 cu. feet of soil for $18 and we can reuse it! Just add more fertilizer.

I used the Miracle grow organic with some success. I added bone and blood meal along with some bloom guano.

Not sure if this is off topic but

Maybe try looking into hempy buckets. All items for that are easily found in either store.

I buy all my shit from Lowes/Home Depot. Miracle grow organic soil is good. You can add vermiculite or perlite . Espoma Plant Tone is excellent organic additive. Espoma Bio Tone also. Alaska Fish fertilizer. Timers, fans, electrical shit. I would never go to a grow store.

From HD, MG Moisture Control and Scotts works in a pinch with added perlite.

damn dog i must be in a soil desert or something... just found a place that i dont have to drive 3 hours to get good soil from but they dont have promix and a 3.8 cubic of sunshine #4 is $48...but hey its worth it to not being growing in a big bag of half rotting sticks and twigs which is what miracle grow organic is (oh yea i forgot to mention the main ingredient... gnats)

dont call miracle grow a good soil... cause its not... itll work for a little... but its one of your worst choices when it comes to soil (actually soilless mix)

My lowes sells burpee coco bricks, mix those with the peat moss in the red bag thats already ph'd, throw in some perlite and lime, they sell bone meal and blood meal there also if you want the soil to feed. Then mix in a bag of bio-tone starter plug for bene bacteria and fungi and your all set, all from lowes.

I looked into the Alaska Fish Fertlizer for vegatative stage. Seem's like a winner.
