hey im interested in sensi seeds hindu kush and i cant really find information on it can anyone help?
average flowering time?
taste?
how potent is it?

flowering time about 60 days a little longer than as described. Also it is more potent than sensi says it is. My friend who normally smokes commerical stuff said it "hit him like a freight train". This was outdoor grown though. Taste is nothing special, hashy flavour but the aroma of it is really nice pine. It has quite a landrace look to it but has been selectively inbred for potency. I don't think they crossed it with any western varieties but i can't be 100% sure. I personally prefer the mazarisharif as it has some nice variety and purple phenos and smoke isn't as overpowering. Its got a more fruity smell than the hindu kush to.

Mazarisharif seedlings progressing nicely. huge wide leaves. Very pretty plants.

Of the non-auto Indica landraces, which have the strongest tendency for early outdoor finish(like say between Aug 20-Sept-15)?

Great thread everybody!

Mazarisharif coming along very nicely.

does any one have info on violator kush?

It's a cross between a Hindu Kush Indica and a Malana strain, supposed to flower in 55 to 65 days.
It's announced as pure indica by the breeder and I find that odd considering that there's some Malana in there. As far as I know, there are no Indica landrace in Malana. Could they have picked seeds from an imported commercial dutch strain ? That's the only explanation I can find justifying the pure-indicaness.

Irie !

How far did you get before you had to chop her? If you have any good local Ukranian strain maybe you can cross that Pakistan to it to try to get the pakistani to finish at your latitude? Just an idea. Either way that is/was a lovely plant, hope the smoke you did get was pretty good.

anyone interested in landraces from yunnan, china? ive always planned on making a seed collecting trip to yunnan...take detailed pics of the trees i got the seeds from...find multiple diff types/phenos of trees, collecting a bunch of seeds from each and then documenting everything. then of course share with the growing community so the strains collected could be kept as pure landraces but then reproduced over several generations to be primo pure landrace yunnan indicas! or anyone have any suggestions on a more "pro" way on going about this??

Landrace Lebanese

Landrace Lebanese

I grew 63-65 landrace Lebanese seeds last year and I got only one Red Lebanese.
It sure smelled different than the rest.

Hope you like her.

Best of all she was grown outside at the 46 N parallel in Canada.

Closeup of the top.

This was my second favorite plant in the bunch.

The largest yielder of the bunch was this one. It stood about 5 feet tall.

They were mostly fed organics, my main fertilizer was bone meal.
