honestly I don't watch barely any tv.. I love cold case, and supernatural, are you smarter than a fifth grader(I even got the game for my ds and beat it in 2 days).... but with all you guys talking about how good this show is, I'm semi curious... what time/station does this come on?

Arctic convinced me to cave in and finally indulge in lost a year ago thank you. I dont watch much tv either, mostly discovery/nat geo, but this show is a huge exception. Hard to understand what the big deal is until you start watching it from the Pilot episode

Oh and Juliet is the hottest of the hot. Then Sun... then Kate... Kate used to be #1 but Juliet and Sun got way hot as the seasons went on. Kate got less.

MIB is freaky! i got a weird feeling when he and sawyer were talking about books haha... how steinbeck was way after his time!!! that's sort of creepy

the fact that i feel compassion for characters like ben and sayid is creepy

the idea that i actually enjoy a primetime network show (and a POPULAR one at that) is infinitely creepy lol

The characters grow on you and the situations are interesting. I didn't get into it until the 4th season was on, but I watched first 3 seasons on DVD before starting at the 4th. It worked out well because I didn't have cable and it was better than watching youtube on my TV.

I'm digging the whole egyptian underworld themes. I'm interested to see how it all turns out.

well you might be a little disappointed about that one...the writers/producers have alluded to the idea that they dont really want to explore the "original inhabitants" or any of that mythology really, because "the characters don't care about it, so we dont care about it" ............... which is silly to me. why would you bring it up if you're not going to fully explore it?

and yeah i totally agree, i love watching the whole season "back to back" (even though it takes me a week or so to watch all the episodes in a season)... nothing beats no commercials and bonus features/easter eggs

I'm pretty sure they're doing something with the egyptian theme. For instance, the official website has announced that the 4 toed statue is of the egyptian goddess Tawaret, who was a consort of Anubis and was the patron of expectant mothers. (Which relates to the whole babies-can't-be-born on the island. maybe because the statue was destroyed?)

I'm not sure if Jacob is supposed to represent the biblical Jacob or if he's supposed to be Horus, but my guess is that the other guy (the dude wearing John Locke's face now) is either Anubis or Set.
