I'm a bit confused as well. Also I run in soil mixes. If they say 1:1:1 I'd do just that. I've heard lot of stories of people burning crops with AN. Soil is obviously much more forgiving.
Your math seems right. Which is 1:2:3?
I'm looking at my chart right now and it says 1:1:1. I'd stick with that and alternate between strengths. Medium strength should do you fine except for finicky strains. If they look hungry still move up moderately heavy or heavy. I'd do 1:1:1.

I saw the 1:1:1 ratio on the label but the EC wasn't what I needed. Unfortunately, we're both at completely different ends. What I did was mix up my 3:2:1 ratio and the I added more water to get the EC I wanted. Then I PH'd. My plants are fine, I'm just confused.

Hey toohighmf: I'm starting to find your issues with AN amusing. You clearly have strong feelings on the subject and I respect that. But, I still I've been growing some serious chronic and don't plan on switching to GH anytime soon.

If you have used AN for any significant timeframe, you would remember the instructions. They directly mention using AN 3 part like "old shcool GH flora series in a 3-2-1 fashion". if you cant look at the 3 NPK's on grow micro & bloom and not see that it is a direct ripoff, you my friend are dillusional. I like you Ganja. don't get me wrong. I used to be as gun-ho about AN until I learned the truth. good luck with AN.

im very impressed with advanced nutes my soup is an conni-a+b b52 bigbud budfactor x budignitor budcandy kushi kush senszym carboload voodoojuice and calmag and overdrive the last 3 wks of flower workd great 4 me i also use the conniA with B52 and senszym during veg and since i started this i noticed my plants vegged faster and stronger then with the iguana juice grow formula i used next to it i got some 3ft trees in 3-4wks ready to move into my flower room but nowhere to put em for the next week or 2

Conni only works with certain strains. For example Diesel and PK you'll see no difference when using Conni compared to any other brand name food.

Other wise Conni works really good for Jammy's and creates really hard buds on Cherry

Oh, now it's improved! your a riot dude! That's some funny shit bro! They didn't even use PH buffers. they actually make the cheapest 3 part out there. It works. no doubt. however there is absolutely no improvements to the formula what so ever. Don't believe everything you read from HT or AN. listen to those who have used it a few years and either still use it, use a few of the products, or totally moved on. I still use some of their shit. I try not too though

Earlier in this thread I said I was confused. Well, I called A.N. about it and I was confused because the calculator math only works out if you are using the full line. The directions on the back are what you want if you are using all their additives and such.

They were pretty insistent I stick with the 1:1:1 ratio.

A 1-1-1 ratio will grow or bloom everything. I know people who run 1-1-1 because they don't really understand nute profiling and it works w some success for newbs. Nothin wrong w that. However if you have seen the 3-4 different mixing instructions over thr last 9 years, you would think they are almost porpously sabatoging you. I use 1-1-1 when I see defics. Which is rare.. If my plants are a little short at the flip they might get 1-1-1 that 1st week of bloom.

-voodoo juice

-sweet leaf
-sweet tea earth mother
-big bud
-revive when needed
-bud factor x

in flowering. I think at times i may have fell into the hype and just did not have the ambition to search enough going into the hobby.

I will tell you this, the taste and smell as compared to when i first began with sensei a,b and no additives is quite noticeable imo. The plant growth is also noticibly faster with the voodoo juice.


As time has moved on, im looking to keep the simplicity of the formula i have that i know works with what i have but the price is outrageous. Its like 400 dollars to buy this shit as is and im not convinced i couldnt have similar results for a fraction of the price.

anyone have any suggestions for me?

As far as advanced goes, i love their stuff, the price though is ridiculous. I have always been the kid with rebok pumps and not la gears so ive made do so far, but im getting curious at this point if i could have the same results without sacrificing for much less cost.

only use superthrive on babies and newbies. I do wonder about both Hygrozyme and sensizyme but they are not the same product. I use only half recommendations of both?? B-52 tho what else could i use in replacement of it?? B-52 is expensive as hell.

home depot sells western B1 in quarts for $5 and gallons for $15. its super potent. go easy with it. That or just use the superthrive though it does contain NAA (hormone commonly used in rooting products. Hygrozym or sensizym. one or the other... I go w hygro because it doesn't break down or require a carb to feed it. its not alive. what DM products and other stuff do you use? I see this all too common. people using 2-3 similar products in the same res.

Hygrozyme/GroZyme kicks ass most Zyme products. Its very stable and don't have to use as much as the other brands.

And shit home depot is alot cheaper than b52 at $200 per 10 gal.

A good cheap B52 alternative is their Vita Boost Plus (aka copy of Vitamax Plus)

Well for myself I used it for lemon Diesel and Purple Kush and saw no difference using it. I did use it once with Green Crack and it made the buds quite hard and I talked to a regular GC growers and he says the same thing that Conni makes his GC buds really hard but not that much weight difference.

I know quite a few guys who grow Jammys (I don't know exactly what that strain is) and they produce better with Conni.

I've also seen two samples of Cherry and they were hard as fuck when grown with Conni.

I've talked to a lot of growers that have tried Conni with PK which is grown by tons of growers here and there's no change when used with Conni.
