House and Garden people. Can i see your feeding program?

Guywithoutajeep

ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fuck me man, its too late to mess around with this stuff

do you think its a good idea to do a low ppm flush then try the regular feed amount with a 1/2 tbsp of epsom to try and balance out that cal (if thats even possible)?

also thought that maybe the bcuzz coco im using has more sodium in it than canna brand, that could add to the cal prob too

depends on what you are using (in your nute soup)

what are additives are you using? what is the ingredients of your nute soup?

(sorry for asking the same question many different ways, im high here :p )

how long are you into flowering?

have you heard of magic green? normally when i dont wanna fuck with a whole reservoir...i just give their asses some magic green...i call that shit leaf crack... its the shit :D

S

stonescafe

i use it all day long with no probs, how old are your nutes?i buy new nutes every year.
i just follow the H+G feeding chart never had an issue.

G

Guywithoutajeep

yeah im doing a handwater with H&G A+B and drip clean, no other additives, my nutes are new, ive heard of magic green but the store doesnt carry it unfortunately

sure that may work

however, if the leaf is damaged from cal/mag issues than imo, there is no repairing it

as its already damaged (cellular damage...cant think of the terminology right now). new growth should be fine though

yeah, what's the brand and did you flush it well?
i bought some cheap-ass coco (that worked well in the past for me) and neglected to flush.
fucked half my plants right there.
then i find out the distributor for this coco just went out of business.
i wonder why?

Can some of the growers having problems with House and Garden post some pics of their problem plants? I'm using House and Garden Aqua Flakes with all the additives. I use tap water that has about 10ppm and then adjust the ph down to 5.8 and thats it. All the people in this crew up here use H&G...They gave me a sheet that tells you how much of each nutrient in ml. to give each gallon of water. I vegged for 60 days have been in bloom for 24 days, and as of now I haven't seen any deficiency. The sheet I use looks pretty different than the formula on House and Gardens website. I've seen a couple of these guys rooms at day 50 of bloom at the plants looked super healthy, no Ca or Mg lockout whatsoever. The only thing I add outside the H&G line is Carbon Love Bud. I would be happy to post the formula that I was given if anyone is interested. I'll grab it from my garden tonight.

Post it please. I have used all their products to the T off their published fert guide. I would like to see if you have a different guide then what was given me.

I use the Canna coco with the canna line no problems. I have friends that use canna coco with the H&G line and most have no problems. just have to add some calmag. id have to say use better quality coco.

ok just so everyone knows it is the B'Cuzz Coco brand that is causing the problems, I didn't flush it out and I'm paying the price. I need another bag of coco anyways so it looks like I'll be flushing out some Canna brand here soon.

I woke up to some pretty happy plants. I flushed them because I think I slightly overferted, no worries though. They look green as fook so we're happy.

I use the whole line of H&G products minus the shooting powder. I also use tap water which seems to have an excess of MG during the winter months , thanks C-DOT. I've said it before the Root Excelurator is an awesome product and they price it like gold. It is my strong belief that it is crucial to use it with their line. When I've run out and tried to do without the plants suffer pretty quickly with lockouts given my less than ideal water supply. That's when I ran to the hydro store to buy another bottle of liquid gold for about 75$ / 250ml. A feed of calcium nitrate and Root EX gets them back in line relatively quickly.

Any updates....

Using H&G first time , tap,b cuzz coco, going good just slight problems in the under growth.... and top a little light colored

Use calmag 5 mg every feed still got problems, not as bad as not using though.

Just went an got A R/O so will be experimenting...

Any one using "aggressive" formula ? Heard it will take care of any deficiencies .... lol

Yes please post feed regimen

I have been using H&G Aqua Flakes for about 4 years now. I use Aqua Flakes because I never have to adjust my pH. Multiple locations in multiple states and it always works great. Depending on the strain, some like more Ca and Mg so I have been adding 5ml CalMag+ per gallon with great results. I pulled 1gpw with my last harvest on this formula.

Here is a basic break down of what I use.

Canna Coco with nothing else added.

Early Veg
10ml A/B Aqua Flakes
5ml CalMag+
5ml Liquid Karma
1ml Roots Excelurator

Late Veg
12ml A/B Aqua Flakes
5ml CalMag+
5ml Liquid Karma
1ml Roots Excelurator

Early Flower
10ml A/B Aqua Flakes
1.5ml per gallon Big Bud powder
5ml CalMag+
5ml Liquid Karma

Mid Flower
12ml A/B Aqua Flakes
1.5ml per gallon Big Bud powder
5ml CalMag+
5ml Liquid Karma

Late Flower
10ml A/B Aqua Flakes
5-10ml Overdrive
5ml CalMag+
5ml Liquid Karma

Yeah, just for reference to my earlier posts. It was most likely the coco. I washed the hell out of my stuff and I've had no problems since. I'm in week 3 of flower and have some serious beasts.

I have a feed chart from the north american distributor and it has Algen Extract blocked out. I wonder whats up with that.

Other than that I'm just using AB, drip clean, and epsom. I'll be adding BudXL and Top Booster soon, then shooting powder.

Gotta watch that shooting powder application! Potential burn ward patient.

If you mess with the H&G calculator the only difference between normal and agressive is about a 33% increase in the A&B base nutes. All the additives and such stay the same.

If the girls are just underfed the advanced may fix all the problems.

Im not sure why its blocked out but I just started using about a week ago also. So far so good and to my knowledge only really used in veg and as foliar to take care of minor impurities or stress from pest sprays

Very cool and well written, and I know it took you a while so thank you for the effort.

H&G will be my next nute test, I'll have to look into the Aqua's as I've been ignoring them for some reason.

Yeah who knows, doesn't kelp cause some major stretching? Maybe thats why they don't like over here. Just guessing

Hey Pico, I assume when you say 10ml A/B Aqua Flakes you mean 5ml A and 5ml B? I have read most all of your posts regarding the usage of Aqua Flakes and it seems you got it diled in quite nicely. I have been having problems with the Aqua Flakes ever since I moved out to well water. Funny thing is is that its only 70ppm from the well. Also, the pH never stops climbing. This happened when I was on EWEB city water and on the well. Any thoughts?
