Just got a repair done. For $130 the heater core, the metallic 'bridge' or sensor was replace, a fuse, screws i lost, a rubber thing i lost, a wear and tear set for my valve, 3 extra boxes of bag material, and the feet were fixed. I trashed mine so the warranty was void but they replace for free the fuse, a rubber seal i lost near the knob, screws holding on the aluminum cover, and the fault foot on the bottom.

Service was fast, tthey called the day after they received it, a friday, I had to wait the weekend and they fixed it on monday.

Im happy with their service and I'm usually a pain in the ass to please.

I cant tell you how nice it is to be smoke free after a few months of broken volcano

Who did the repair? The green switch on my old Volcano is broken. I already bought a new Volcano, but I would also like to fix the old one.

I started with a 100 dollar ebay knockoff. Bad idea. It quit working within a month. Made in China, no Warranty. Remembered that u get what u pay for.

Then I got an Extreme Vapor Tower. Mostly cuz it does everything that the Volcano does for less than half the price. The warranty was annother reason I bought the EVT. Arizer stands behind their product. I know because I hadda return mine. No charge, no problems at all. They had me back up and vaping within a week after i shipped it to them with a new unit.

Finally with the money I saved going with the EVT over the Volcano, I got myself an Iolite. The Iolite probably shouldn't be your only vaporizer. You can't adjust the temperature, it's thermostat is set at the factory for 375f. This means that you won't be able to squeeze every last mollecule of THC out of the weed u run through it, however if you have an adjustable-temp vaporizer at home you can squeeze a few more tokes out of your Iolite duff. That said, the Iolite does what it does very well. I have used it in coffeeshops, bookstores, restaurants and theaters without attracting any attention at all.

So... is the Volcano worth it? I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. I'm sure the Volcano works well. But so does the EVT at a much more reasonable price. If money is no object buy a Volcano, for sure. Definitely don't waste ur money on a cheap vape without a warranty.

I have never used a volcano. but I can't imagine it being any better than my extreme. plus it doesn't have a whip or remote ;)

for the price of a volcano, I would get a herborizer

but really a good vape is priceless. smoking ewww gasp

I have had my Volcano Vaporizer for 3 or so years and its worth every penny. More work to use it than smoking a joint or ripping the bong but I'm sure my lungs will thank me later

the volcano is nice for party fun, but its not a good long term "tool" .. the vape / "smoke" is too dry and has too much not filtered fine plant dust stuff, especially the last few ballons .. long term that blows it bigtime imho!

better vaporizers use a water filter, which helps ALOT :p

Am sure it's worth every penny but no way in hell would I ever spend $500 on a vaporiser unless I had $30,000 in savings.. i'd rather just buy a thin glass pipe an vape it myself just as efficiently with practice:biggrin:

No need to vape. Make some bubble hash or hash oil. Don't even need to worry about plant matter after that. Use a Haako ceramic heating element and you've got yourself a hell of a hit. No need to worry about not getting high now.

I have a Volcano and as far as vapes go it is damn good. It is however sitting in the cupboard while I smoke my bong, just doesn't give me the same hit as bud in a bowl. And when I smoke hash or oil I prefer to wander around with my wooden pipe. I loved it when I first got it but in the end the novelty wore off and I ended up preferring the high of fully combusted material.

Why pay 600 bucks for a Volcano when u can get a Canadian-Made Arizer for half the price?
It does MORE than the Volcano does, Just as well. Warranty is excellent. Service is quick and friendly. Plus it does Whips, whch the Volcano has to be Hacked to accomplish. Finally the glass replacment parts are much more reasonably priced on Arizer's home page:

No... I don't work for them, but I wish I did. Great Stuff.

If I had full melt bubble hash or honey oil, I wouldn't bother to vaporize either. Nobody around here sells that stuff around here, so it's easier and cheaper to just run my buds through a Volcano.

Put that Volcano on eBay and post a link here.

Volcano is a waste of money, I sold mine and got da buddha. The volcano is slow, loud, just not as fun to use. I hated always waiting around for that heating light to go off. Da buddha heats up faster, is silent, and can be easily connected to a bong for water cooled hits. I had the cano for a year and I dont miss it at all

cant say anything about the volcano bc i have never used one dude da buddha is sick vape or if you jsut want to "wet" your feet buy a vapor genie. u cant even paint the wood!
