Seems you won some sort of LED light to experiment with am I reading that right?? Dope bro, congrats on the win. I know you will do it the test justice, you have tons of skills that you just wont own up to!! Looks like that C99 is still flourishing, nice SS too, great shots as well you are really getting better with that camera man! I'm sitting in a haze over here with all this GI haha, it's getting one of the best cures I've ever had the opportunity of providing. Nice dry but sticky fresh buds, smokes pretty good but I think it could have been a bit more flushed. Peace Hazy

T~ I'll let you know. Thanks
Thanks Jack, thanks dog.
cali~ Yeah, LEDGirl is doing a promotion and gave away $5000 worth of lights, maybe more. Mostly comparing her 205 watt led with a 400 hps, in hydro, soil, and coco. It's gonna be fun.
glad you're getting some better cured bud now that you got a big pile of it. That was a nice run you did.
That C99 is flourishing. It's coming down in a few more days.
Thanks Tex!
You know it Sir.

Chop days are coming. I took down a couple WR/BB last night. here's one

I love chop time.. I've found that C99 can be harvested from 7- 9 weeks.. and the high changes considerably during that time. If you have the leeway, try taking a bit early, and let some go late as well. That way you get an idea of where you like your example best..

Looking great Hazy, love this show

T~ Fixing to roll one up of the BB if i can find my papers.
HS~ Oh Yeah! She ain't the only only one I'm gonna get up against the door. hehe
Che~I took one c99 at 8 weeks(pics below) and i'll take the other at 9. :smokey: See how I like it.
secret~ That shack is coming down in a few. Oh btw, I'm going to do that led grow thread right. Have you seen some of the guys who tried it? Between not knowing how to grow, experimenting and not having a clue about deficiencies, they were doomed. Sleepy's is looking pretty good though. He got bitched at a bit for not flowering after 4 weeks, but c'mon! after 4 weeks from seed you're only ready to flower if you're doing a pc case grow.
K~ thanks bud!

She is a sweet baby Che. I got a lot of color this run, and my diesel and c99 got a little purple too cali. And you saw that SS pic a page back. I'm going to chop the Shack tomorrow during lights out. It's loaded with nice fat buds. In fact it fattened up better than the rest this time. The C4, C99 and SD buds are a little thinner than last time. More of them though.:smokeit:

In a few days I'll take the other C99. She's a lot bigger than the last one. Did a ton of work the last few days. Getting things repotted and vacuuming my grow area, taking clones, and moving the vegging action to under the 400 for a few days while I rearrange and get ready for the next run. Everything that was under the 400 had to move to the chopped c99's space. I'll dig around tomorrow for stuff to change the way my filter hangs and the vertical change will be done.

Chopped a sugar shack.

It doesn't look too bad, but like all of them this round, had buds smaller than I'd have liked. Well, the SS top buds are fat, but every thing below was just little junk. I pulled some of the fans out of the middle area of the plant a few days ago to get a little light down below. It has an impenetrable canopy without thinning.

Then all stripped down.

Hi Hazy,

I was looking through all your great stuff here tonight. I notice you especially being active in the infirmary, which is really helpful to LOTS of people, and speaks kindly of your willingness to help people. I had no idea about the memory problems you've been having.

Being me, I started looking for natural supplements that might help. I think fish oil/cod liver oil is great for anyone, especially the cod liver oil. Do you take any EFA's in your daily grub? (EFA= Essential Fatty Acids). They are essential because the body cannot synthesize them -- they need to be inputted nutritionally. Fats are just totally essential to proper brain functioning, the lowfat stuff is the opposite way you want to go. Fats don't make you fat anyways, carbs do. I was lookin' around and I did come across this, tho:

An interesting study was conducted in the U.K. in 2004 which showed that extracts of sage and lemon balm may help to improve memory. The researchers tested a sage extract and a lemon balm extract on a group of normal subjects as well as a group of Alzheimer's patients. They found that both sage and lemon balm improved memory in normal subjects as well as those afflicted with Alzheimer's disease. Lemon balm had the additional benefit of helping to reduce agitation and improve overall mood in Alzheimer's patients. A prior study showed that normal persons given sage extract were able to recall words more easily than those who didn't receive the extract. Best of all, neither produced significant side effects.

You might also supplement with lecithin, granules or capsules are easy to find. Good for memory and also for male potency actually, according to some ayurvedic people I know. The brain is mostly phosphorus, which is what lecithin is.

You have maybe already tried nutritional supplements years ago already, but I just wanted to throw it out there 'cause I'm a softie deep down in there and wish I could help you. Go hook up with a naturopathic doc, you might find someone who can get you on the right supplements/diet for your body type, which would at least minimize the progression. For brain function, I really can't emphasize the value of good fats and oils enough.

I found out I was mostly allergic to nuts when I was in my late 20's. I was vegetarian, started eating a lot of almonds, sesame butter and such for snacks to keep my protein up. I ended up so depressed and lifeless, but I thought it was just depression until I read the "Eat the Right Diet 4 your Bloodtype" book and started following the guidelines. Within 2 days of eliminating nuts from my diet, my energy like doubled and I felt like a new guy.

My point here is that, there could also be some underlying food allergies that you're not aware of that are making your brain fuzzy. You said that these experiences began when you were young so it really makes me think there could be something like this at play. It is never too late to do some supplementin' and/or tinker with your diet.

I do recommend that blood type diet book, it's been out for a looong time, and I met many people on the way who felt helped by the info in there 'til I finally checked it out. It certainly was helpful to me.

Ok, well that's what I came here to say. I'm not a doctor, but I play one on tv. lol. Really tho, just wanting to help out a very cool IC member.

Love your nature photography and the cacti. Here's a Peruvian Torch from an island on Lake Titicaca. Enjoy.

Thanks for that MS. I appreciate the help, and I'll be going and getting some of that sage and lemon balm. I read a similar book on allergies years ago, maybe the same one, I should check it out again. Could be something there. A full allergy test would be a good idea, but that's a lot, probably painful too.

Nice cactus!

Chopped the other c99:
