This is an Internet Urban legend, repeated enough times, people believe it. Kali Mist has not gone off the boil at all.
Serious slightly changed Kali around then, people complained, they changed it back. It is still the nuts, my 2008 KM crop was the best thing I have ever grown, a new 2010 pack is in my seed case waiting for Spring.
Is it not totally obvious from the way Serious operate that Simon is a man of the highest integrity. There are quite a few good breeders out there, but I cannot think of another who takes such care over the quality of their product and ensures it goes through such rigorous testing. Their standards are far higher than most of the opposition and they pass on the opportunity to make a quick buck with inferior crosses of their stock, unlike much, or almost all of the competition.

ChaosCatalunya, I hear that Kali Mist has a very mushroom/speedy like high which I find intriguing. How tall does she get and how long did you flower them for? I wonder if they stretch much.
Yes, very trippy, psychoactive, amazing, yet, too much for real life at times...does not mix with Straights or Real Life too well.... daywrecker sums her up well, no ceiling I ever found bar raging insanity and a regular strange 4am cooking sessions, speedy is right too, it gives you the most amazing natural crazed up all night high.
Nov 15th Outdoor harvest here in N Spain for Kali Mist at the start of her prime, I really want to take some beyond this if I can too.

I have to agree about Kali Mist. I recently finished up an Organic Hydro Kali mist grow(first time growing kali), it came out amazing. I got 3 phenos, 2 more sativas that tasted better, and 1 indica pheno that was the most resinous/crystal covered bud Ive ever seen. Its my favorite strain and I vape it every day. Super clear high, energetic. Makes music amazing and bright lights or sun light/bright colors can be trippy.
I'm Revegging my highest yielding sativa pheno, and have a pack of Kali and White Russian from Serious on there 3rd nodes. I also grew White Russian a few months ago and loved it, cant wait to get some more. I plan to keep growing Kali Mist and trying new phenos.

That was my first thought.
To clear it up:
Pre-98 Kali Mist was a Haze-dom plant.
Due to customer complaints regarding long-ass flower times,Serious out-crossed to an indica to shorten flower time.
It did NOT go over well,and from what I'm told,they reverted to the sat-dom KM breeding prog that they had before the '98 re-working.
I had the "pre-'98 KM" for a LONG time,it was great herb and hybridized exceptionally well.
MNS did the same thing to SSH,for the same reasons,but never reverted to the sat-dom,original program that Serious' did.
Imo Simon is loaded with integrity,and in fact Reservoir was approached a while back,through a third party,with a request to develop,for Serious,a new indoor hybrid recipe-to help SS into the 21st Century....Reservoir Style....and it's currently "on paper",being worked out before it gets submitted for consideration.
Stay tuned....there will be more info later this year....

Apart from serious 6. There is a new strain coming out of serious seeds laters in the year....towards the end. Whatever, I believe these 2 new strains will deliver and some more.
Soon I'll be running KillerQueen Redux alongside some Kali Mist 2010.

To add (completely unfounded,gossipy) fuel to the fire....There's also a rumor in the air that Serious' Seeds and Reservoir may,at some point in the future,work together on something.
Reservoir could,in fact,currently be developing something special for Serious' on 'spec....one never knows....and I certainly didn't say anything.
Serious and Reservoir Seeds joint project? Claude I'm surprised you don't sound more receptive, I personally love the sound of it!
