growing outside of phototrons

I gots some new ideas for my new and improved grow room....I decided that the set up i've been using for the last 8 or so years needed to be updated/improved for the 2010 year round grows. This grow room will have air conditioning so i wont have to stop my grows during the hot summer months and this new room wont have any dark spots under the canopy hopefully. Heres some old pictures of my current soon to be old grow room.







as u can see some of my plants get big and they will create some dark spots under the canopy. my new and improved grow room wont have that problem, hopefully. Hope this helps.

running by 2.1.10 ...this room will also have a PL light system w/1K Hortilux bulb and a 3.5 Light rail....Buckets are from menards, airpumps, airstones, airhoses from walmarts......Hope this helps..

Looks pretty good man. The only thing I would change up on it would be trading out the white and more transparent buckets for the darker colored ones(I am using some transparent food containers and cleaning algae from them is a pta).

Wh@ do you mean by 'phototron'?...I got a product of th@name...a base, a top {with ballasts and fittings} and 4 slide-in metal sides...4X 32w U-shaped flouro's and an ES phillips cfl...

A phototron is hard to explain but yes its basically like a piece of furniture made for in your face stealth.This guy does wonders with them but a lot of losers scoff.I'm not a fan of micro grows in a speaker box but Mr Phil gets results from that tron.Google it to get some pics you'll have a better idea

solved bro...check out my old pix on top of this page...I use black plastic bags...I put my 5 gals. buckets in black pastic bags from the Dollar tree stores...very much easier then taping or painting the buckets.....Hope this helps.

I like the whole set up, including the flouros down the middle of the rows. This whole time I was wondering wtf you were doing with the wood running between the buckets(they weren't quite thick enough to stand on).I am also wondering why the hell I didn't think of the garbage bag thing(possibly because it is just too easy)

grows as easy as possible...I also like making my own things(hydro set-ups) instead of buying them at Brew & Grow, way cheaper..The only things i get at B&G are my net cups, nutes and mylar....I also plan on putting 3 plants in this set-up evry 2 wks. til this room is full. which also means that i be harvesting evry 2 wks. a perpetual flower room....so in the beginning i wont need the shop lites on till they get bigger......Gonna try and get this set-up going tonite b4 i go to my Windy City Steel Dart league....Hope this helps.
