Here are some dry shots of 3month cured white.
This stuff is just dripping in goo!

I havent read much of this thread............but those pictures look an AWFUL lot like hashplant.

also its weird that all the recent "white" pictures in the past 2-3 pages look more like critical mass than the first pictures posted.........didnt they say in the first post its a low yielder? look at all the leaf and lack of calyxes in the first pics...........but all the new white looks like a rather heavy yielder, & on the last few pages someone said dense, hard buds

There should be more crosses made with this awesome strain.
I would love to see it pollinated by some Deep chunk, PTK, some heavy indicas.
Also some more sativa hybrids with it would be awesome (;

heres a few snapps of the white in my garden at day 48 looking dank, thanks krome for leakin this one out. she is grand. a real beauty.

:bump:

I must say, I was hoping someone by now had grown out the 'White KC', just to have a look. Lord knows, they're cheap enough to search thru a few pks.

I myself, continue to work with it thru my Honey White hybrid, that's kept me busy enough w/ it.

I was just going thru Rez's & DutchGrown's forum looking for feedback from their hybrid work w/ it, and came across some interesting quotes from them.
I'm certainly not trying to kick up some dust over this, but this thread is the most comprehensive one on the White, and I think their opinions on the cut need to be weighed in here.

Rez:
"The White" hybrids, both DG's and Reservoir's "White Diesel" are one-shot releases.
Neither Reservoir or DG Seeds will be using The White again.

Why?

"The White" has been judged by a group of us that have it,after many runs,to be a really nice White Widow.
By itself,it needs improvement,in the opinion of everyone I know that's grown or smoked it.
It's been a really nice target for Improvement Through Hybridization,(ITH) but as a standalone...we're done with it.
By adding Sour Diesel (or) G13 to "The White",it was clear that DG Seeds and Reservoir have improved it from two different directions, and perspectives.
Reservoir leaned towards improving The White by breeding in Reservoir's touch-of-sativa Sour Diesel genes, and DG Seeds leaned towards improving it by infusing The White with the piney, fat-cola'd G13.
Imo either way is a win-win,depending on what your Target High is,and The White is a good solid,White Widow baseline to work from.

and from DG:
What it 'actually' is.....that seems to be the mystery question. Krome would be the best one to answer that....not I, as I did not create the cut. My reason for using it was to infuse resin production traits carried by The White with the heavy hitting punch of G13.

Due to the fact that I found The White to be somewhat lacking in flavor, I let my C99 male have a go at her in an attempt to add some fruitiness....I like things that taste good! 'Glass Slipper' (The White x C99) will soon be available as well.

I have my own 'opinion' as to what makes up The White now that I've had a chance to work with it...but being able to state exact lineage from a cut is simply not...well....simple. I've grown a lot of White Widow in the dam in the past, enough to know that there can be varying pheno's...let's just say I'd not be surprised if it was some form of kush-ish ww. Maybe I'm right...maybe not.

and another:
DG:Reservoir has used the cut , and I used the cut in a couple of my projects. Between both of us, I am most confident that our experience and knowledge of a multitude of different varieties (which spans roughly 35 yrs individually) renders a more professional opinion rather than one which is based on canna urban legend.

The White is the closest I've seen to Ingemar's ww, although not a 100% representation of his ww, there are distinctive traits observed. Having been inside Ingemar's garden in Holland gave the opportunity for me to see things more clearly regarding ww.

I have much respect for them both, which is why I bother to quote them here. They are both a lot more "worldly" in our canna culture than most of us.
I grew WW in the 90's when it was the "it" strain, and the WW I grew had a buzzy sativa head w/ an afghan body. Everyone complained about the taste w/ WW, I remember it as a medicinal/ clinical taste, like smoking pure resin.
The White has an undeniable kushiness to it that seems miles away from that of my WW. :2cents:

In the end, I take the same approach as krome/blessed:

I just don't know exactly what the white is. And that's fine with me.
