Oh yeah, I left ourt "ABUSE"

Oh yeah, I left ourt "ABUSE"

"Well, you know, abuse, blah blah blah"

Well I'm confused here.

How can you use the AG's opposition of this bill to support your opposition while at the same time you appear to have very little confidence in the AG being able to do his job and enforce the laws pertaining to abuse?

WTF? Are We Going To Allow The Press To Do This?

WTF? Are We Going To Allow The Press To Do This?

Hint - answer is NO!

The WI press has been extensively covering the proposed MMJ bill for the last few months. And the public opinion needle has been moving in the right direction.

One of my theories on this is that people who have not had an opinion on this subject are now forming one because it is in front of them in the main stream.

I also like to believe that some of these very same people are choosing to become proponents simply due to seeing through the rediculous postions opponents are taking.

Back on point - Tuesday, Jan 20, there was a memorial/rally in the Capital 1st floor rotunda followed by a lobby day.

Hundreds of people were there in support. The ACLU took part in the lobbying.

Notably absent was the press. Yes, they were notified of the event.

So here's what I would ask you to do.

Email the link to this article to your local TV stations and newspapers and ask them WTF happened?

Or WTF is going on here?

It does'nt matter what you ask them.

What matters is that you just email them this link and just ask them something.

Oh yeah, and demand an answer. Because you can. Go ahead and try it, feels really good.

Standing up for your rights, making your voice heard.

Empower yourself and help everyone with a stake in this at the same time.

So if patients can't grow for themselves and also can't have dispensaries, how would anyone get their medicine? That sounds like a state operated monopoly which is illegal right?

Buddy, again, RIGHT ON! Not one single reporter, TV news, nothing. I saw one 30 second blurb on WFRV Channel 5 out of Green Bay in the morning of 1/20/2010 mentioning the vigil, but that was it....

The word marijuana must really scare people...

MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA MARIJUANA

Take that. Maybe some rich cannabis folks should just buy full page adds in the all Wisconsin newspapers, print a huge juicy bud and say, "This will be yours if you stand up and demand it" and the info on how to demand it....

CANNACO-OP - I know you got something there! Can't imagine that tactic not working.

Seriously, I believe people are afraid o the word, but not the people you may suspect.

I think it's the politicos and the press that are starting to fear the word and here's why I think that.

I think that there have been a lot of people in WI who have no opinion about MMJ because they never even think about it.

With all the press this bill has been getting, these people are coming across this subject more often and are making a decision about it because it's a current event.

This I hope is where santiy takes over the insanity. And I think it's the insanity some of these politicians are displaying with their positions and their comments that is driving the undecided over to the sane side of the fence.

I wonder how that ad idea of yours would play on Craigslist? Lot cheaper. Let me ponder that.

What about link in a signature to a site that is your ad. Then get your sig in a whole lot of comments on a whole lot of newspaper and televison staion websites

Here is another problem as I see it.....

Anyone can find pot anywhere in Wisconsin, if they can't, they did not ask 3 people.

So...to the average person smoking weed right now, they do not care, they do not yet know what quality bud is, they probably don't care because they drink cheap beer and smoke cheap cigs; the only strain name they care about is "marijuana".

So they can find pot, have pot, don't need a med card, never will need a med card, don't care about helping people, and live their own life and no-one cares about them and they care about no-one...

These guys might get drawn to a bud pic, but just lookers, not doers.... and they don't read media anyways.

It has gotta be the medical patients, caregivers, families and MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS of these people who already use and recommend marijuana everyday!

TALK TO YOUR DOCTORS, FIND THE GOOD ONES AND GET THEM OUT THERE!

I just do not like it the Wisconsin is not recognizing that they are discriminating against the weak, poor, sick, disabled, people near death. No one is criminals, they just want their medicine.

They cannot fight, they have no money, they are on the way out. They should pass this law just for the few that could really benefit from this, f the rest.

I mean there is more to the story, but come one, leave medical patients alone, pass it and move on.

The Silence Was Deafening

The Silence Was Deafening

Gov speaks tonight.

Gov passed up prime opportunity to become a part of WI history tonight.

Maybe the teleprompter writer guy fucked up :dunno:

Oh well, life goes on, AND SO DOES THE FIGHT.

Reality check guys -

As deafening as the Governors silence is-

The silence coming from some of YOU is even more deafening!

Read thatagain or a couple times or how ever many times it takes to absorb it , and then do the same with the quote below. Please. Thank you.

Quote I found on Madison NORML website (unknown author)

" If you take action and do something - this bill has a 50/50 chance of passing.

If you get two other people to take action - this bill will pass."

How can I take action? So easy a medicated person can do it!

It's all right here:

http://www.madisonnorml.org/info.html

Click on the send a pre-written letter link : http://bit.ly/JRMMA

So easy . . .

Thanks

After my last two visits to the Capital, it is clear to me that there is a virus running rampant throughout the Mad House. I have bolded the symptoms of this virus in the above quote.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to not have contracted this virus after being exposed to so many legislators suffering from mild to severe stages of these symptoms.

Now - the irony here is that the med that could cure this virus is the same med we fighting for.

I bet we can!

I bet we can!

Time to change the politicians?[/quote]

I'm sorry but I will not support the above quote unless it is amended as follows:

line 1 remove punctuation mark from the end of line 1

1a: remove from line 1 all letters symbols marks notaions and everything else following the letter "s" in politicians
