They Vikings got scared and couldn't hold onto the ball. I can't blame them.

The Jets gave it a good go. Y'alls kicker will probably be at the soup kitchen next year. One real bad missed ruffing the passer call.

Peyton is the man as usual. New Orleans is going to have to score a lot of points. I think they had so much pressure on them to win this game, they'll be able to go out and play in the Superbowl. It wasn't pretty, but it was f'ing W.

What a fantastic day! The Saints are coming home!! (with the Lombardi)

well it was a long drive home from Hooters, 3 bummed Vikes fans &
me the lone Jets fan in the crew as well. The Colts and Manning did
their job for sure & will likely be the Super Bowl victors if the Saints
play as soft as they did in today's game. The Vikes beat themselves
and Favre fucked up big time by not running instead of tossing that
final minute interception. Manning/Colts will be tougher to beat.......

Congrats to all you Colts & Saints fans out there, gonna be a long 2 weeks.

Sorry to hear that bro. Can't say I feel to bad for your Viking friends. Jets are going to be around for a long time though. Y'all have a real football team with a real good coach. You showed up early for the party this year.

being a Jets fan is always a 'maybe next year' scenario, that they made it this far was a surprise & a record as well (rookie QB in the conf champ game) so I sure don't feel too badly, I always wear my colors with pride.

good luck in the next one Gramps, I'll only be rooting for my #s to come out quarterly on the big Super Bowl pool ($100 per sq.) $1500 1st Q; $2000 halftime; $1500 3rd Q; and $5000 final.......

What a disappointing day of football for me. First my team, the Jets, lose to the colts after having the lead and Favre losing. Dreams of Jets vs. Vikings superbowl shattered.

hehe Us poor Saints fan didn't even think about the "maybe next year" until Sean and Brees showed up. We were always worried about who we were going to take in the #1 or #2 spot of the draft and what bags to put on our heads.

Y'all are for real. Rex is good coach and that defense is only going to get better. The same thing happened with Mangini kind of, but I never thought he had real sticking power. Those guys play hard for Rex and he has them believing. I reckon the Jets are going to be a perennial playoff team for years to come.

Sanchez might have his second year problems. Most do. It's your defense that is going to make you good for so many years though.

Back to the subject of tv ratings and which match-up would have brought the biggest to the superbowl.

If you exclude SUPERBOWLS, the game on sunday night, vikings vs saints was the most watched tv show since the final episode of seinfeld, 12 years ago. And only one playoff game in history, ('81) the cowboys vs 49ers(joe montana, the catch, you know) ever had bigger ratings!

The who dat nation has a population of 7million. And that dude that wrote that article needs to recognize. Saints equal HUGE ratings.

WHO DAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: 58 million people watched that game!
