Can't stop the day dreams.

It has been almost 2 years since I've been in the position where I could have a grow going. Well, good news is that my current roommate has fell in love and is moving out of our apartment so that he can be with his woman... Now, I've never grew in an apartment before, but after living here for a year, I have NO doubt that if can be done.

I can't start till august but I find myself thinking about it every single night. I dream about the different strains. I've decided to pop 25 beans and then ultimately narrow it down to 8 lovely ladies. Hopefully I end up with a keeper of each strain.... Serious seeds' ak 47 (who I've grown before and was AMAZED at the quality of the smoke). I had so many older stoners tell me that it was the best smoke they had had the pleasure of smoking since the sixties.

The second strain is sweet tooth#3 inspected from bulk, along with some double Dutch... I'M hoping to find a really fat bitch I can exploit for all she's worth!!!

Planning, planning and planning. A cabinet grow that looks like a chest of drawers. You can design it and build it for less than $400 and it will be a beautiful piece of furniture in your apartment that nobody will ever suspect of being anything other than a chest of drawers.

Take your time. What do you want out of your garden? Is this just for you or is this for some other folks too? Or is this a production grow? If it is a production grow, you need to go buy a house.

Design, design and design. Take your time. My first cabinet design took me two months to get to the point where I could start doing real material take-offs. My latest design I have been working on for over two months and I was going to pick up the wood today and get started but it is raining cats and dogs so maybe next weekend.

The more time you spend planning, the less time you will spend correcting the inevitable miscues and mistakes...

MPD's words ring true. Until august, PLAN PLAN PLAN. Stock pile equiptment slowly and piece by piece. Spending 100 a month on various materials is easier on the wallet then dropping a whole grand at once. Get everything together so that once august hits, you are ready to go without delay.

I have a small grow going, but i dream about the day i have something as complex and awesome as Pirate or some of the other guys on this forum are going.

In general though, aside from just fantasizing about a big healthy grow in the future, i definately day dream WAY too much.

Some of the usual suspects of my day dreams are.

1) cars, cars, cars, i probably day dream about driving different cars i see on the road way to much. When i am driving around during work i am always day dreaming about my lowly toyota suddenly morphing into a plush brand new Yukon Denali, or Mercedes S550, or some extremely balling super pimp mobile.

2) houses, i keep day dreaming about my dream house, my super fat crib with nice driveway, nice fishtanks, nice views, granite countertop kitchen, plush master bed room, having a dedicated "smoking room" with big bean bag chairs and fish tanks and TVs, etc etc. I day dream about nice watches, yachts, vacations, fishing trips, traveling. It takes up at least 20-30% of each hour of my thought.

3) of course, the girlies. every good looking woman i see definately gets the sexual fantasy day dream.

haha yea i definately think about #4 way too much, or just my finances in general. Even though i am sitting on a decent nest egg, this recession has run my business into the red every month, so i am drawing down a couple hundred out of my savings every month. Hoping i can rebound, im not gonna lie, growing my own herb is gonna definately help me out a little bit with saving money and having a little extra pocket cash from selling it to friends.
