These are extreme close up, and a few macro, images I’ve begun capturing, today 01-11-10, of my cross of Reservoir Seeds Strawberry Cough Kush x (Mass Super Skunk X Sour Bubble), I'm calling Doobie's Strawberry. All the images are in an album in my profile here..
Strawberry Cough Kush X MSSxSour Bubble The Macros.
Please visit there to see macro images that I miss loading to this thread…or just to leave me a comment!
The Grow Thread has the cola images along with some arty shots.
Many thanks to Rez for creating the Strawberry Cough Kush and to Grat3ful H3ad for the MSS x Sour Bubble..great work friends. I was very fortunate to get a real strawberry mom to breed and the genes were certainly passed on to my cross..what a wonderful fruity strawberry aroma, I don’t know how you guys do that!
Thanks everyone for your views and comments..DD

Awesome images doobie! You may be the first person I know who has reached the macro level that Joop the Crystalman does with his MICROSCOPE!

I've been waiting to see this for many years from a "normal" camera. I think I waited about 12-13 years to see this.

Congrats! I hope you win photo of the month again with one of those!

Hey, can you provide the info on what equipment you used for those pix & the settings (for any of them)?

BTW, for Joop to take a pic, he uses a microscope attached to a projector, then takes a 35mm film picture of the blown-up image. Although by now he may have a digital.

An interview I did with Joop a long time ago...

Ice I use a briefcase of lenses. The very best macros here are captured with a Canon L series 70-200mm, or Sigma 105MM, and three extension tubes, a good tripod, remote release, mirror lock up, and believe it or not..natural filtered light. I have a sliding glass door that was water stain inside thus it only allows filtered light. I do use 2 -200watt daylight bulbs , flash and bouncing flash, and in some of the images a flash tube...way to much to go into now. There is much more to it than just the lens itself. Hope this helps you some?

Fantastic shots man :D

thank you 40A..nice to see you by.

Skip comming from you that is so very nice. I am surprised at how far I've come just experimenting. If people here were to see what I was posting 4 years ago they would not believe it was comming from me, period. I was going to buy the microscope but they don't have the pixels for publication, if you want to publish your images you need mega pixels. Mega pixels and the cropping factor is a major reason for these images too! I do not have top end equipment, if I did I'm sure I could impress even more. Canon 50D...Most of these were at F 8.0 and 1/30 of a second or slower! No shake..I turn off my stereo. You can see my heart beat in the lens transferred through the floor, I step several feet away before closing the shutter with remote release. Got any more questions Skip shoot um by me?

Yes it gets stick..I try very hard to keep it free from resins, though, the lens in my macros is only inches, and sometimes closer, when capturing these...I use a generic lens cleaner when I have to...and good lens cleaning cloth, thanks friend..DD

thanks for sharing!
and thank you for visiting master..you yourself are quite an artist..DD

doobie sets the standard!!!
Phill...thank you..I hope I can maintain that but our members here, and the digital revolution, are creating some of the nicest images i've ever seen...new and better ones every day. Thier grows aren;t nothin to be laughed at either. Yes Sir........
