Hey I got the PKs in I think I'll use my first PC to veg them in, gotta go pick it up.
I also conducted an experiment. I got a clear beer cup, put a little hole in it half an inch from the bottom, and put in 4" of perlite, and a chilli clone with the bottom just above the water level. I'm not going to mess with domes but I'll probably mist it occasionally. It's basically a perlite hempy, is that cool? I have it in a shady spot under natural light periods, about 12:12 roughly, is that cool? Are chillis photoperiod dependant? The clone itself was flowering but I chopped those off.
I'm also dangerously close to finally mixing some EM, but I've said that a few times. Ahem.

Chili peppers are photoperiod insensitive plants. It should root okay. I like 20/4 for cloning chilis and tomatoes personally.
And a perlite hempy should be a decent cloner. I am gonna try this out myself soon. Also have found very lovely little 6oz bottles for doing clones in perlite, making veg and the move to bloom easier

Hey Scrub, you're one of my more light experienced grow buds. I put my scrog under HPS 14/10 to speed veg growth. Will I get faster growth if I run lights longer or will 14/10 be fine?

Think I found the perfect pump for my system, guess it would be perfect for most systems.
I will be using a needle wheel pump, rigged up with a passive hose for air suction at the intake. It's taken from a skimmer used in my old saltwater aquarium build.
It turns the water into foam, and still delivers 2000L/h
When using this pump on the normal red DPS sprinklers, the compressed air bubbles made the water explode into a much better mist.
BTW I've got the kit to measure dissolved oxygen in water.
I've got my first build ready to show, but I'm waiting for a few parts to run the tests.

DB, I think you meant to say "lightly experienced" haha! I would've thought 20/4 or 18/6 would be best. More hours in the day, so it would be soaking up more photons and growing more. Now you have the nice red hps so I think it would stretch just right

All the plants are doing okay. The door got left open a crack the other night but it should be okay, I keep a blanket over it just in case. Hairs are starting to go brown on one or two phenos. Boom, there is one getting that real velvetty felt trich look like yours. Woohoo.

Sweet Bro, had a few dramas this weekend gone, but it's all good now, hopefully can share some pics today sometime. I might be chopping my fav d x pd much sooner than expected, she has done nothing for nearly 2 weeks now, really just waiting for the seed pods to start ripening and splitting more.

Boom, good luck bro. Hope everything is a-ok. Have they had 3 to 4 weeks to ripen? (the seeds) That's often been my problem - not letting them ripen enough on the plant.
Cheers Cheese - sounds great. A lot of people are into chillis/peppers! I love how we can use clones for other things like these, lol. I grew 5 or so from seed and cloned the best one, it's huge and loaded.

You know when the shit hits the fan the people like you who can help make food and fun will be well rewarded. I was told that the LVPK is the main breading stock of the ALIEN line and their corssed beans go for +$100 per, well if so you have the source and need to make it spread.

Word! I had a genuine farm while all my biggest outdoor girls were going on. I'm no good with land sizes but maybe half an acre? Corn, tomatoes, peas, zuchinnis etc. Had to move out right before it was all ready though! I'll check out this alien stuff, thanks for the heads up.

as you can see I've burnt the leaf tips from it's last feed a week and 2 days ago, been getting flushed with molasses and ph'd water since and has done nothing all at, it has stopped swelling and throwing white hairs almost 2 weeks ago, just waiting for the seeds to ripen and show themselves a bit more before the chop. Will be a medium yielding that one, got preggas too early. This one should yield a bit better:-

Could they have got a light leak or something? It just looks like they haven't filled out at all compared to your other strains. Still looks good of course!
I opened the cupboard on mine tonight and they had levelled up! Looking very nice as I was a bit scared they weren't gonna do anything. The day before, I gave them a light dose of guano and HE, that wierd herbal extract stuff kinda like EM. Every time I've used that, there's been a big improvement. It smells so nice compared to the usual poop and whatever else I mix in
Might give the epsom tomorrow. Peace.

Hahahaha I know what ya mean sometimes I miss being up the hill in the rainforest, but fuck it was lonely bro. Nowadays I consider myself very lucky to have someone who loves me and allows me all the freedom to grow medicine (she doesn't smoke also) and raise a family together. Every other girlfriend before has had issues with me and my gardening habits, well we all can guess how quickly they were gone
cause I'm not stopping growing 
ever. Well enough of that, down to some pics, these ones are three of six seedlings (dutch indoor mix) started last month?, not sure of date and what strains these are,
Nice stretch on the big one, she is right up near the light ballasts(see the clawing action up top) bit hotter up there. The other two are very similar just not as big, nice fruity smells with a burnt rubber? smell when you rub the stems.
These next two are like twins squat and bushy little buggers with sativa leaves, quite unique to me, never had that structure before with sativa leaves
maybe they are getting ready to stretch up to the roof, no sex shown as yet on these two, and they have been in flower the same time as the first three.
Last one for the night is the Lil' Mutant, sorted it self out in veg cab, so she? is now in flower with her siblings from the same pack of seeds

On the Dyna x PD I'm pretty positive there is no light leak, I would have other symptoms on other plants, in my experience, if there was one. No bro I reckon it's a combination of not ever working with this strain before, getting her pregnant way too early in the peaceand not dealing with her cal/mag addiction properly plus me letting the mites have too much of a go at her as well. 
Speaking of mites I bombed the shit outta the veg and flower cabs and can now treat my plants going from one to the other and no sign of the buggers since but the two D x PD's unfortunately still have em.

The HE has a head euro site here with one of the glitziest high-budget promo videos I've ever seen, lol, considering they use it to break down shit. The local site for it is here but not as much info.
It seems to me like it's EM made from herbs instead of wheat or whatever they use normally. They seem fond of using it to break down poop in the paddocks, so I figure it's good for guano. It smells like fermented passionfruit wine, good enough to drink. :friends:

Here is the 24w vert grow. You guys are probably thinking "why does he only ever show this huge clump of leaves?", well, that's all there is, haha. Leaves and a few seeds.
