I can’t believe that people (Craig) are trying to get Advanced Nutrients out of stores. It’s disgusting, it’s a shame, and it seems like just another way the MJ community is getting bad press. If we want to legalize, doesn’t it seem like all of the nute companies should work together?

Advanced Nutrients has always supported hydro stores and their owners.

I’m going to be calling Craig 360-883-8846 (info@sunlightsupply.com) at Sunlight supply….now. Gotta say, the good old boys that Big Mike is always talking about? Seems to be the real deal.

If this is true, then it is the ultimate form of hypocrisy. Sunlight supply owes most of its business to the marijuana growing community. For them to try and cut off shops that sell AN products because AN is openly marketed as a marijuana nutrient line has me utterly apoplectic. I intend to use nothing but AN if SS pursues this type of bullying. Even if you hate AN, they deserve our support in this fight. Boycott Sunlight Supply products and call them to voice your outrage. The buying power we wield as a community cannot be ignored. This wink wink, nudge nudge about not ever discussing the fact that what is purchased in grow shops is used for producing MJ is Orwellian in an age when it is legal in over 25% of the states for medical purposes and will likely be legal in California by the end of the year.

They have already been taken out of many of the largest hydro stores in cali.

for the record, I did a full run on advanced with everything they "recommend" (in my case $1500 for ONE grow), and got the same yield/quality on the next run when I used GH 3 part.

There is two sides to every story. From what I have heard from friends in WA the DEA is targeting hydro shops making carbon filters, 1000 watters and other products paraphernalia. Maybe it would be a good idea to take products like Big Bud and Bud Candy, off the shelves for a while until things cool off and the DEA feels like they are getting the respect they feel they deserve. After watching the video in that link it sounds like most of the shop owners are siding w/ Sun Lights rep/company. We all know what type of gardners are spending the most at hydro shops....why boast so hard. I think Advanced's ego will be there downfall.

Yesterday I was talking to a store owner in Washington and he said the dea entered his store and told him to remove advanced nutrients from the shelf or be shut down. It all started when fat mike flew his big fat banner during hemp fest in Seattle. Way to put it in there face you big fat bastard. Keep your BS in Canada along with all of your lies. Sunlight supply just doesn’t want to be associated with such a big dumb fat ass. We all know what we are doing its just fat mike likes to tell everyone and put it in your face. Thanks fatty. Oh and yes ive tried there product and did not see any improvements over the GH 3-part. They do have a few supplements that work wonders but for the most part its just hype. I've never gotten into the politics of Hydroponics or the business aspect behind it (sorry if it's funny but I don't know who sunlight supply is) but of course by seeing a nutrient line-up like Advanced Nutrients you know the product because you know the name.

To see the statement above that the "DEA told the Hydroponic store owner to stop carrying Advanced Nutrients or be shut down" I just don't understand how something like this can happen? Where is the justification?

You have Alcohol for example (of course it's not criminal to carry Alcohol, I'm just using the example) but you carry every line-up of Alcoholic drinks per category:


Vodka
Whiskey
Gin
Tequila
Cognac
Whatever else


And each one of these categories has suppliers to each brand. Vodka for example. Grey Goose, Absolut, Popov, Smirnoff, Belvedere, etc....

For the ATF (Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms) to come in your store and say "If you carry SKY Vodka, we are going to shut you down" how the hell can they say or do that?

Even in a Hydroponic store, regardless of what the equipment is used for, how can they single out a line-up of "ONE" particular product? Is it just me or is there something I don't understand to this story? When did we stop having a free enterprise??

Someone please explain before the lawsuits start flying everywhere! And for the record, I don't use Advanced Nutrients so I'm not trying to defend them.......

I've never paid more than $80 for a 4L wet bottle or 1kg bottle of dry advanced nutrients. So seriously man what strain are you smoking? It has to be fucking awesome.

Just my opinion. Feel free to continue to spend massive amounts of money on AN.
