There are so many types to try. I'm not totally sure of all the pros and cons. Anyone know much about these or tried one?
Thinking about trying a vaporizer.

Only vaporizer i tried was a vapolution. I used to have one way back when and i loved it! Preferred it over regular smoke actually for a long time. I feel as if its a totally different high, more uplifting. Although this was over 3 years ago and ive learned alot more about bud alot more.
But it was still the shit. I just wish the volcano wasnt so expensive.

Cons
Some people dislike the different high/taste. But I have found if you switch to only vaping for a few days you learn to like the more "up" high and herbal essence taste. And your lungs will love it too.
I recommend Vapor Brothers. I've had two of them, for $150 they are the best value IMO. I bought an attachment for the whip that fits into a glass on glass downstem of a bong.
Ice/water cooled vapor hits = WIN

I've had my vapor brothers for a few months and honestly don't use it much. I do like it but it just can't beat a bong rip or steamroller..Though it is very nice to have when sick with a cold and the lungs are all congested. The vaped weed is good to save too, make some firecrackers and you better be ready
My roommate just got the Volcano non-digital vaporizor and it is BADASS. I have allergy induced asthma and since i've been smoking out of the vaporizor I have not had to use my inhalor 1 time in the past 2 months. When normally I would be using it 2-4 times a week, maybe more, depending on how much I smoked.
volcanos are nice but waaaay to much$$$$ and its hard to vape a one hit, i love my vapor bros, i bought a 5 pack of the 10mm whips for $50 so i always have a clean one, imo the taste is much better, you can taste the inticatsies of the herb with no nasty smoke, as a matter of fact after vaping for a couple weeks, burning bud tasted like sh#t to me, all i could taste was the smoke and i couldnt believe ive been smoking all these years, ive heard the vapolution is nice as is the silver surfer and others too, good luck

bpo: that is exactly why I am considering using one. I also have extrinsic asthma and hope that this form of administration will cut down on inhaler use as well. Glad to hear that it has worked for some. Cheers to all!

I like my vapor brothers, it gives a large, really smooth hit. I got a rubber gasket-type thing for it and pull it through my bong, it milks like crazy and might even blast my head off more than smoking as dense a hit. I've even pulled it through a gravity bong before, that's pretty incredible too.
Does take some adjusting, but good for the lungs and keeps me from passing out too early in the day from heavier strains.
If you have money, I'm told the volcano can't be beat; but if you don't, I bet my VB-bong could give it a run for its money.

After a half year or so of owning the digital volcano I can safely say it just does not get you as high as you can get from a bong. That said, its so much more healthy the trade off is worth it. Although... healthiness doesn't always take the precedence it should so I find myself sucking up the sore throat/constant junk in throat and ripping the bong daily.

i can personally recommend the silver surfer vaporizer.. made in colorado.. very good quality and glass on glass.tasty phat hits. it was actually in the harold and kumar 2 movie, i freaked out when i saw it..it was in the hillbilly scene.

It is not user friendly , it's made out of glass , looks like a bong , but mannnn this thing gets me more wasted than any joint or bong.
I tried it few times in our growshop.
I haven't tried the volcano yet.
I would prefer the volcano cuz it's user friendly and fllo proof(i always break stuff when stoned)
Anywho in 3 weeks our growshop will set up all different kinds of vaporizers.
I will go there with a big bag of bud and try a few vaporizers to see which one gives a good effect.
But if the volcano deosn't get me soo high like the vaporhighzer i will go for the vaporhighzer , It will be one of these 2.

I recently bought a Vapor Warez box style one strait from the manufactorer. It's working great, looks EXACTLY like the vapor brothers boxes but was a tad bit cheaper.... Also comes with a 5year/lifetime warranty (after 5 years or if you loose the receipt its 30 bucks)
I'm loving it. But it definetely cannot replace smoking. I'd say you should really try out one if possible before buying one. My old roomates had a vapor brothers and one of my good friends does. So I have been using them for years.
