New reflector finally arrived, i went with a mini sunsoaker over upgrading my light to a 600 or 1000. I think this should produce the results i'm looking for, pretty happy with it so far.

First sign of sex in my veg tent, it's day 25ish give or a take a day or two. I'm thinking i've got a male there since 25 days is still pretty early, and males are prone to showing sex first. Hard to tell.

1/16 Look inside the veg tent

I'm about 99% sure this is male, very early to preflower, circular litle balls. However it's still impossible to be 100%, specially because i keep thinking i may or may not see some pistols. Either way i've isolated him/her in my clone cab, if it is indeed a male i will use it's pollen, it is a very healthy plant with nice plant structure.

Purple Lady seedling at about 5 days since germ, she has a very light purple hue to the underside of her cotyledon. I can't wait to watch her grow!

Very nice plant structure, this is one of the other sleestack x skunks. Things are looking good to have two true parents to backcross. Lookin forward to playing around.

Alright gang, huge update. Hope you guys are happy! I ended up watering just about everyone today. Little girls and skunks got plain water, while the big girls got a full dose of 1-2-3 nutes. I'm thinking my skunks are starting to get root bound, they're showing a little droppyness and after i killed off one of the males, i noticed that the root ball is pretty much taken up all of the bag. They're currently in 1 gals, i'll probably switch them to 3 gals after they all show sex.

I took the opportunity to give each plant a good prune, get rid of it's dieing off lower leaves, clip some unnecessary growth, normal stuff. While doing this, i also was able to get a profile shot of each plant, however i forgot to label so i won't be able to say which plant is which because i'm too lazy to check, so use your imaginations :).

Today is also significant because it's more or less day 28 in flower, and we're at 4 weeks, which is about halfway through give or take. Some will finish early, some will finish late, but we're about half way done with my current flowering batch. Everyone is looking very good, no signs of stress, hermies or deficiencies! All of the flowering plants are begin to smell very heavily, so i'm glad i moved my scrubber inside the tent.

In other news i also started a test grow log for my purple widows, which are about 5 days old now. You can find it in my signature if you're a loyal follower, feel free to tag along! without further disruption, the pics!

I think i may have two more males, it's hard to tell. I should be able to know for sure after the next couple of days. That would be 6 females / 3 males. Not too bad.

Hey nnep,

I see you said that it's day 28 veg of those skunks. Is that 28 from seed, or 28 from when you considered them in "veg state"?

OPT - It's day 28 based on their first day above soil, so give or take a couple days. Realistically they are about day 33ish, but i like to make things simple. Also yes, they were grown from seed.

By the way, for anyone new to the show, currently in my veg tent are 8 skunks, down from 12. Originally i started with 12 seeds, 3 seeds of 3 different skunk crosses (og18, sleestack, kandy kush, and kushberry)

Today is a big day as well because the last piece to my puzzle arrived. Temps are absolutely stellar, and now both tents are as close to simulated plant environments as i think i'm going to get, short of using co2, however i'm not really interested in co2.

The biggest difference is each tent now has an intake and an exhaust. Before i used one fan to vent both tents, but with the addition of my newer sunsoaker hood, this threw off my environment, as my 174 CFM exhaust fan which was working for both tents, no longer was powerful enough to do that job. So what i did was vent both tents for the time being while i obtained a larger, 474 CFM fan. Everything is now situated again and the girls are happier than ever. Pics below

It all starts here. This is my intake fan for my flower tent, this provides fresh air that is drawn into the tent through ducting. This supplies the tent with constant fresh air. The fan is a 80CFM weak little duct booster fan i bought from the home depot and wired using the end of a power strip. This acts as almost a passive intake due to the low power of the fan.

picture.php

Entrance to my flower tent, this is the other side of where the intake fan draws fresh air into the tent. As you can see it's as far to the ground as possible so there are no stagnant pockets of air as the air is eventually warmed by the light and rises.

picture.php

This is my 474 CFM fan, it's a 6" inline fan that is fit with two 6" to 4" adapters. One connects it to my filter, which is drawing the warm, smelly air through the charcoal, filtering the air, getting sucked through the fan, and released through the ducting on the other side. Where does it go? See below

picture.php

Now the newly filtered air is sucked through the ducting, all the way down to the bottom of my veg tent, again, air flow and circulation throughout the bottom of the tent is a must for healthy roots which makes healthy plants. Here though it is diffused through some pantyhose like fabric, if it wasnt diffused than the air would be much too powerful. The air is heated once again by the light and eventually begins to rise and is sucked in through the side of my aircooled hood. There is another piece of ducting going out the other side of the hood, which pulls the hot air trapped between the glass and the bulb outside to eventually be dispersed into the air!

Out it goes! This 174 CFM inline fan sucks all air out of the veg tent, which is hoooked up to a fan controller which i can control the speed and amount of air moved.

picture.php

That's all the pieces to the puzzle, i find it very easy to control temps by playing with the fan controls. My veg tent stays at about 75 degrees F with a RH level of 50%, my flower tent stays at about 83 degrees F with a TH level of 30%.

Enjoy! Feel free to ask questions.

Looks awesome!

Only thing though, the filter should be the last thing the air passes through before exiting the op...you have it going through the veg tent after filtering!

I've had some plants that STUNK two weeks after being planted!

Thanks Bjork! As for your suggestion, yeah it's the most effiecient for complete odor removal, but i found this works more for me, as my veg tent's odor is extremely minimal, even more so in a tent with the door closed most of the time. The reason i put it in my flower tent was because there are some small leaks and such a long the way, i wanted it to be right where the odor is, getting drawn in.

Some pictures of status of both tents

in the veg tent the skunk crosses are around day 30ish, two have shown female preflowers, 1 i can't tell just yet, and the others havn't sex'd. You can also see how big my lemon g's have gotten, also right next to them are my 4th generation. The SLH, 4 PWs, Purp lady, and 3 unknowns a friend gifted to me. They're all about 5 days within each other.

in the flower tent the buds are starting to pack on weight. Not a single sign of hermie, every few days i take them out, rearrange them and remove any new lower growth and dieing leaves that are ready to fall off. I think the earliest girl will probably be down in the next couple weeks. Some are still quite immature buds wise.
