What was THE best weed you ever smoked?

I bought a 1/2 of Lavender last year - most memorable smoke ever.
The taste and smell were just out of this world... sickly sweet lavender on the inhale and exhale. The first hit made my mouth explode with saliva (Sounds gross, I know.), and I felt it before my second hit.
It was absolutely narcotic. Not just stoned, destroyed. Good luck accomplishing the most menial task, unless it involves food.
But honestly, Lavender was the strongest shit I've ever inhaled. I broke my knee a few years back and was heavily medicated, and that's what this weed felt like... Opiates. Everything was warm and fuzzy and not really all that important.
The crazy thing is that normally I'm not a big fan of heavy indicas, but this was another beast entirely. I'd buy the seeds and grow them if I hadn't read some so-so reviews... Still. Wow.


Edit: Best hash had to be a brick my little brother picked up in grade 10. I went home to Bahrain one summer and wasn't expecting to get high for the next month or two... The day after I got home, he said he was going to pick up some hash so I gave him $60 US. I was expecting him to come home with a few grams, since drugs are super illegal in the middle east and prices should be correspondingly high. Anyways....
He and his two friends friends from school came back with a block of hash the size of a juicebox. It was ridiculous. Three sides were still covered in that red and gold plastic/foil shit that paki hash is always wrapped in; it was obviously cut off of a very, very big block. It was super malleable when warm and we proceeded to make hash sculptures for the next few weeks. After nearly two months of daily smoking with large groups of people, mainly out of the hookah, we still had an obscene amount left.
I have yet to encounter hash of that quality or price again, and I doubt I ever will.

my vote goes to Toe Jam. I had this one phenotype that stank so strong that i brought it over to my buddy's house and as soon as i walked through the door, they were eyeballin me and saying they could smell it all the way across the room. Hands down the best tasting weed i've ever had. still have some seeds to make f2's when the time is right.

In the early 80's I go to my guys house at Christmas to get the annual "Cheesewheel Thai" He tosses me a huge zip and says roll one up. I roll a fatty and we talk about the smoke, $280 a zip.

I go to light it and he says if I can smoke the whole number I just rolled I can have the bag !!!!!! I think no problem I love this smoke, it is unbeleiveable !! About half way through joint he says, " hey man, it went out"

Nothing for free that day. Was happy to score after getting so high ! Last time I had that Thai was 1989.

Never had that offer again. No one else that confident.

Tastewise I'll say some Blueberry that I had in Amsterdam at the rokerij. What can I say? Straight blueberries. Taste and smell. Was so good I had to bring some home to my bro even tho I promised myself not to carry...

The weed that has kicked my ass hardest is some Orange Haze from Christiania. We paid about 10 usd for one prerolled joint. It was cold as hell and we just wanted to burn one fast and go home. Well... The three of us couldn't go home. Couldn't find the way. We were REALLY freezing but there was no way we could move. Wish I could smoke that wome other time. Wasn't really that enjoyable. Trippy as hell.

Kali Mist(circa 1998)...before they fucked with it to bring up yields and bring down flowering times...I was in the dam and it was smokeable LSD...the most psychedelic marijuana I have ever smoked..I wish i had a cut of it...

I'm with you, I hit up the grey area in the late 90's and the (kali) grey mist was without a doubt the best I've ever tried, I still remember exactly what it looked like. I think that was grown by the DNA folks for the grey area around that time, but I'm not sure. Then my lady and I hit the live sex club, weird fucking experience, Japanese dig that shit, old ladys snapping pics and stuff.
