white widow - lemon skunk, 400w hps

week 5 1/2 UPDATE

week 5 1/2 UPDATE

whats up people, Im back for a week 5 1/2 update.

Just a few pic's this time.

Still battling the mites a bit. Temps have gone a low as 62 lights off, but i doubt thats low enough to kill the mites. lights on temp have been around 72-74.There are some cold days ahead and hopefully the temps stay above 60.
The mites are drawn to the lemon skunk over the widows. There still is no leaf damage that i can find...I have misted the stalks, top of soil and lower leaves a few times. Only noticed a few on the widows. going to spray them good once i can get in there on a lights off cycle.
The Lemon skunk leaves have a curl to most of them. Ive seen this in some other lskunk grows. Does it look like genetics or a PH problem?
Just under a week and a half before 12/12 at 7 weeks. So 1 lemon skunk and 3 widows. Anybody think they are vegged long enough at week 7 to yeild over 2-3oz per plant?

week 6 UPDATE

week 6 UPDATE

hey guys!.week 6 countdown has begun for 12/12. 1 week of 18/6 left. Man the temps are way below average right now. highs in the low 40s and lows 18-30. has been a bit chilly in the grow room(low 60s) . I lowered the light atleast 6 inches(after i took these pics). I cranked up the heater some more for the lights off cycle. Even went as far as disconnecting the exhaust ducting to avoid cooling till temps get back up to normal.
I took 6 cuttings tonight. 1 lemon skunk and 5 widows. pics to come.
Lemon skunk has unclenched her claws for now. She looks much better. All three widows have shown fem preflowers but still waiting on the LS.

lmao. :) You can thank my friends dad for that. After all, the man basically lives in his garage. We have a new grow room that he just built.its approx 5x6. hidden door and all. Probably going to grow the clones in that room while this batch "flowers in the shower."

week 6.4 UPDATE

week 6.4 UPDATE

just a quick update. almost 6 1/2 weeks veg from seed. Just battling the cold temps. trying to keep them in atleast the mid 60's. should be low 70s to 65 now. I upped the heater and lowered the light. few times it got down into the 50's. I didnt want the root to have to feel that but oh well. A small sign of calcium def.(just on one leaf actually) on one of the widows. I expected it seeing as im watering with RO and havent added any Cal yet. Hope it doesnt progress quickly. I plan on getting either epsom salt or calmag on monday. damn hydro store is closed all weekend.
first pic is of the cutting i took. 3 days old.

week7 UPDATE

week7 UPDATE

Week 7 UPDATE!. Lights went to 12/12 tonight jan 12th. so tomorrow will be Day 1 of 12/12! I picked up a bottle of calmag plus and a bottle of PBP bloom. Watered with the calmag the other day. Next watering they will all get small doses of PBP bloom. Probably still going to use a mollasses a few weeks in. Also maybe cha-ching at 4 weeks. These widows are squat and bushy. Bushiest ive grown yet. Curious to see how much stretch from both widows and lemon skunk. Im thinking the lemon skunk is going to stretch quite a bit. Sooo, TWO Ouncers easy, right?!? 7 weeks of veg time so i better get atleast 1 1/2oz each plant. :dance013:

be surprised if they hit 2 zips a piece!!
keep it growing healthy
cheers

bluntt:hey mang, they are s$$d$m@n white widows, but i doubt you could go wrong with the greenhouse widows.

BTW: i measured the plants tonight and shortest was 12 inches, tallest was 15 inches( they were LST'ed). might move the lemon skunk to the front if it stretches like i think it will. Canopy is evening out so far. even after 1 day the top shoots already look like they are gearing up to shoot out some flowers.Alternate phyllotaxy and preflower pistils. PBP bloom is going into the mixture next watering at half strength.

Pic update to come in a few days.

Nice setup! I'm really loving the look of a tiled grow room.
I think I might just drop the mylar and tile up my new room, just looks so elegant, clean and professional.

You got a sweet pheno of lemon skunk, haven't seen one that vibrant before.

UPDATE Day 4 of 12/12

UPDATE Day 4 of 12/12

Time for a little update! :dunno: It's day 4 of 12/12. The canopy is filling in. Even the lemon skunk is doing her part. The girls have received only RO water and calmag so far. There is just too much nitrogen in this soil mix. Just a reminder: 40% FFOF, 30% FFlightwarrior, 30% perlite, dolamite lime. Figured the light warrior would have cooled the mix down, but apparently not. might go with roots organic or sunshine mix 4 next round.
**BTW: I moved plants around a bit, LS is now Right Front**
I want to start feeding them PBP bloom(1.5,4,5) but there is already tip burn. Guess I should wait a couple waterings maybe??? I don't plan on using more than 1/2 strength to start(2-3ml/g)....

thats a nice and even lookn canopy!! Makes the light
distribution alot more intense over a larger sq ft area
creating lots-o-big COLAS!!
nicely done

thanks for the comments so far! An update to come either tomorrow or the end of week 1 12/12 . I wanted to mention that the lemon skunk has very rugged leaves. From what i've seen in pics of ready to chop lemon skunk, I may prefer it over the widow. I love the high calyx to leaf ratio and orange hairs on the lemon skunks. And ive seen the lemon skunk pack on just as many trich's as the widows.

UPDATE!!! Day 8 of 12/12

UPDATE!!! Day 8 of 12/12

Update, day 8 of 12/12. Plants got 3-5ml of calmag/3ml of pbp bloom. Going to maintain the 3-5ml of calmag and slowly up the pbp bloom.
Nighttime temps were over 60 degrees which is the average high this time of year. Had to move lights up because of the temps were getting up there. It was 83 in there when i left(should be back in the 70s tomorrow). Temps forecast to be 10 degrees cooler tomorrow night. Hoping to move light back down a few inches.
Tied two lemon skunk main tops down tonight.
Besides dealing with the temperature swings everything else is going smooth soo far.
