Awesome Scoot.. Great minds think alike my brotha.. I'd love to check out a grow if not at least your male/female selections when the time comes for you to grow them out My project is set for the fall.. Prolly late August-early Septermber if all goes as planned of course....

Those chem#4 x sour diesel sounded tight too.. I woulda loved to backcross to the ecsd and see if I could find some less stretchy heavier yielding diesels... Not like the ecsd is such a shabby yielder as it is I think I'll be plenty pleased with this harvest when it hit the scale..

postman i am the same way, last time i had edibles was around a year ago and then 5 years before that. the taste really doesnt sit too well with me, this time i around i just did 9 grams and some bubblehash to 1 stick of butter, let that sit in a pan for 15-20min on low simmer moving it around just to get some aggitation to the glandular heads. took it out and then poured it thru a strainer..cheeseclothed the cooked bud and gave it a good ring all into the brownie mix+egg's. threw some more hash scraps into the mix hoping i'd get some chocolate chip action which didnt seem to work as planned. overall u can smell a hint of that thc essence but the brownies came out amazing, gooey and moist not all hard and crusty like ive tried in cali at the dispensaries..

I say give it a shot man especially with some sour, its all about the strain flav's im tellin ya dude. i threw the bubba in this time and these almost taste like a mocha coffeeish,more then bareableeeeee..

Maybe a pure bubble hash would bea good way to cut down on the flavor. I prolly cook the buds to hot/long when I do it. I tried it once in pumkin muffins, and it wasn't so bad.. Still after a couple bites my mouth dries up, and I gotta choke the shit down... I saw someone on here put a tsp of butter in hot coco.. chuggin the shit like that may be easier for me too. The reports I've been reading on edibles resentaly sound like a totally different experience from smoking. I think I shall try again soon...

it doesnt sound like a bad idea just i wonder how hash melting into butter will turn out. about your experience and im not 1000% but i think you probably cooked the stuff too hot which i did way back when the first time(and threw in the gross cooked buds, my friend said to do it dont ask lol) turned me off for like 5 years with any THC edible im gonna do some searching online but im sure someone......or something has ran a hash to butter conversion. back to the kitchen it issssssssssss BAM!!!

BRO you GOTTA fill the screen with the ECSD From watching your grows, and how you do it, I think it'd be a perfect plant.. Not only does it look, and smell like some quality herb, but I think it would yield very very well. I just imagine a thick canopy of chunky diesel buds

I wish I could handle edibles LOL. Actually I wish there was a way to kill the flavor the bud/chlorophyll in the cannabutter-oil. I know I'd love the body stone and trippy high. I have a rock stomache usually, but for some reason cannabutter just doesn't agree with me.. Like my gut treats that shit like poison.. I toss that shit right back up before the effects most everytime.. Think I ruined myself with nasty ass firecrackers long ago.. It's Like drinking goldschlager I guess.. Once you yak that shit up, your doomed from Big Red gum the rest of your life LOL.

try making basil pesto out of your trim sometime,just use oil in place of butter and use the oil to make the pesto,pot flavor dissapears

Thanks Phatboyfromla. Patience has never been a virtue of mine, but when it comes to these plants, I seem to have it.. I don't pick as much as a popcorn nugget till everything is flushed n finished.. Although I haven't been out of bud for good long while either. I guess if my stash was low, I may be more inclined to lil picky picky here and there

Ido You Gotta be gentle with the ladies bro... Throwing them is never a good practice hehe.. Ok bad joke.. I've seen what you can do bro, I'm sure she'll turn out just FINE.. As far as the edibles go, I know exactly what you mean.. For some reason my taste buds tell my brain it's friggen posion, and my brain shares the message with my stomache.. I'm gonna try again soon... I always made the butter with cured or fresh buds... Next time I'm Gonna try and make it with a dry sift, or bubble hash on a much lower heat setting, and see how I goes... I'm not sure if the flavor of the thc itself, or the added flavor of the plant material that does it to me..

I got two ECSDs out of the 4, but they are HUGE! stalks are well over an inch thick and the two make up the majority of the canopy.

High melt! those look like they commin along just as nice. Im prolly about another 25 days behind you in the aero room..lol.

High ALL! Well ..I made the Train wreck hash! turned out pretty good IMO. I only use a bucket and a coffee filter, nothin special...lol..
Here it is pretty wet still..

ended up with about 6.5g after it all dried up.
