MediScrogs[/B] - yes chaos here atm. a bit of cold weather and snow and the whole country grinds to a halt. it happens so rarely that there is no point in having the infrastructure etc to combat it - so we all just stay at home instead ;) any excuse :D

From that i presume you're a fellow UK grower? It's one of the lovely little things our government like to do... expect us to pay again, through the nose, to be able to get anywhere in inclement weather... they want us to have 4x4s so we can pay extra tax and so they can blame us and our 4x4s for all the world's problems.. did you notice how sneery the bbc news got, kept sneering "out and about" to describe people who just had to be out?

I defeat them by having an ancient land rover. free tax so it can sit most of the year if i don't need it lol

anyway, back on topic.. grow's looking good mate, very interested in these.. dying to know what they yield lol

apollonio, #1cheesebuds, maryjohn, BENJI, b00m, staff11, CaptainStoner - thanks for stopping by and showing your interest.
and happy new year to all :)

gave them a water this morning - still a little stretch happening - its been very cold here but the plants seem to be bearing up. i took a few leaf fingers off to get some light to the shorter shoots (i dont like removing leaves and keep this to the absolute minimum)

i'll get some more pics in the next few days. :D

23 days flower today - although i should note that repotting when you flip to flower tends to delay flowering a little which can be very useful in a scrog setup.

still cold. plants look fine but i have put another tube heater in the cupboard above my wardrobe upstairs which houses the air intake to my cabs - thats 3 in there now lol.

also put a heating mat under the pot to help keep the soil warm.

cant find my camera but will get pics thursday if i can

Wow Verdant. Amazing.

You're a talented grower, without doubt. Those are some of the healthiest looking plants I've seen. Can't wait to see how this finishes :)

so does it seem to be providing adequate light in your opinion at this stage? or is it too early to tell? do you think with CFL supplementation that this unit could flower a reasonable harvest?

so far im happy with it's performance, and i'm hoping to flower a reasonable harvest with this light alone - no cfl or extra lights.

this MMG plant was vegged under cfl because it was a spare for my bigger 250 cab which i had all ready to flower when i built the new cab (i decided to flower this instead of the two NL that were pictured in the first post). if you want to see vegging under these lights you should check out some of the other test grows going on. imo pretty much any half decent light will veg up a plant to satisfaction

here we go - managed to grab a quick snap or two today - at 25 days
looking ok to me :D
i took the heat mat out again because the roots were getting too hot.

you know, the time span between me wanting to micro and me starting was almost a year, because I thought LED was the only thing feasible. Then I read Red's threads, and Scrub's threads, and was saved by CFL. Now I want LED again! It wasn't supposed to work! But it does?!?

Can you ballpark (cricket pitch, whatever) what the minimum height the cab would need?

an englishman that uses subjunctive. impressive!

thanks botanist!

BENJI - hey mate! - the two NL, one is still vegging up in my veg cab, the other didnt get repotted and was tossed the other day - when they get really rootbound it compromises them really.

---

heres a quick pic of the whole plant from today - 27 days - not the most even canopy ive ever produced but should be fine. topd are 5-6 inches from the light now.

hi botanist - thanks - ill try and get a shot of the light over the screen

the screen is pretty much the size of the cab - 12"x20"

and the light is 8.5" by 16"

so we are talking the cab is 2" bigger than the light all round
