Good idea to plan a story, KB. Even with a good story, the cops will tear ya a new asshole if you're smart enough to not incriminate yourself. Just like telling a cop he can't search w/o a warrant, they don't just say have a nice day. That's where the intimidation enters and keeping your mouth shut is easier said than done.

Man, the USPS must be a lot tougher on this crap than Canada Post. I have worked at a MAJOR hub for Canada post. I can tell you, with out a doubt, that if you are smart you can send stuff through them with out ANY trouble ever.
Rules when sending stuff through Canada Post:
1) NEVER EVER EVER mail stuff internationally, don't fuck with customs, period.
2) VACUUM SEAL your shit!!
3) Canada Post does not ever have dogs or shit in their warehouses smelling up packages
4) Canada Post NEVER scans the return address until there is a failure of delivery the MLOCRs (Multi-line optical character readers) only scan the address it is being sent to, if it is not recognized, damaged, or illegible then they are sent to be processed manually by the workers. Put whatever damn address you want on for your return, once it is unloaded off the truck, they cannot tell where the truck picked it up from. Just make sure it isn't something really stupid
5) If you are unsure of how much postage you need for a particular package, go to the post office outlet, get them to tell you how many stamps or whatever you need. Tell them that you don't have the money, or whatever the excuse is. Go to a DIFFERENT post office, get the appropriate postage, apply, and put in one of the fucking red drop boxes that are everywhere!
Whenever I mail shit, I use express post. I have never been busted. I use this because I happen to have access to a bunch of free express post labels from when I worked there in the offices.

what denominations can we get to label our packages for the redbox?
All depends on weight, like i said, bring it in to a local drug store or something. Have them weigh it and let you know how much you will need as far as stamps goes....then but them from a different post office and drop in the redbox. It is all by weight really.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but maybe there could be a good side to this as well. Does his brother A. qualify for MMJ, and B. use it medicinally? may of simply not thought about it, and mailed package during lunch at work, or right after work, or after it sat around his dispensary all day. amazing how much you smell like meds when work around them for a few hours.

Federal policy in CA airports is to turn it over to local authorities. CA not only couldn't give two shits, they have to give you back your pot and say 'have a nice day, sorry for the inconvenience' if you're a med user.
Can you find some statistics of how many Federal prosecutions there are for minor possession charges? Do you know why everyone calls 99 plants the limit for a rational person?
CO doesn't have distribution laws? It isn't going to be simple possession.

a friend of mine had 24oz sent to him (southern state) from cali that got found. They didnt try to drop it off and bust him, etc.. 3 postal inspectors showed up, said we got a box here we think has drugs in it, questioned him, he said it wasnt his, they asked if they could open it, he said I dont care what you do its not mine, they opened it, it was perfectly packed, vac sealed 3 times and it still got caught. They left, called the next day and asked if he would do a poly, he said let me call my lawyer yall call me back and they never did.
That was about a yr ago, he quit doing everything just incase they started watching him but nothing ever came of it. Your friend should have stuck with its not mine , I didnt send it and made them prove he did, post office vid tape/finger prints,etc..
I believe they are x-raying boxes , could have been hit by a dog at the same time, who knows, All I know is I havnt gotten any new cuts, order beans or anything since, Im just stuck with what I got, happy I got 14 diff moms while the getting was good cause where Im at without some people mailing me stuff I would have nothing worth keeping.
