your doing well still got moisture in the soil..

its sandy as in the west no rain in months now, im growing in coco but its still a battle keeping the girls cool and wet.

Goodluck shroomy there a good size for the time of year, you could half bury the pots to help with insulating the soil against heat. I feel ive over vegged mine for the area im using.

:watchplant: clones already have i think abit of bondage is in order and more clone size tipping..

They are going well but showing signs the fert i added to the soil has well and truly run out, sprinkling more on top of the soil is not the giving the same results. So its liquid feed onwards for me now..

Thats a mild climate to grow in shroomy, looks like a great area big healthy trees are agood sign, i bet if the ever got root bound the soil there would be good enough to finish them well.. Hiking in water been there wont do it again, if i ever get my and mates outdoor grow off the ground i need to choose a solar pump real quick..

Anyone here know there solar pumps?

Till next update

Check out energy matters dot com dot au. They have some real nice pumps and all the other gear but a good setup will cost you. Good luck.

Looking good bro, i went for a drive the other day to check on a couple plots along a river at a friends property and that just about concludes my outdoor season, My mate said the river must have risen 20 feet, he said in 20 years of being there he has never seen so much water in the river
The water current must have been strong i found my biggest bush laying over stripped of all it leaves the rest were just gone
There was a few plants in different spots up higher but they are under 2 foot of water i can see the top half of the plants but i don't know how long they will be water logged they might have a chance??
Oh well thems the breaks, i have a couple clones i can put out now but with only 6 weeks before we hit 12hours light is there much point
Stay Safe all
Good luck with the rest of your season shroomy, there will be a few hot days soon so keep that water up
Peace Shaun

Thanx for the kind words shaunmulok they are greatly appreciated :)

IMO it is never to late to drop a few clones that you realy have no use for at that present time ;)

I have deff learnt my lesson next year to plant near a river... but not right next to it heheheheh lol I am not mad I lost what i have this year but rather have learnt what not to do in the coming years :)

Thanks bro, i actually had started to harden off some Jack'O'Nesia Clones i had from my test grow the day the rains hit so i do have a couple outside just gone into full sun Yesterday and a couple other things

I have grown in the same spots for a few years and never had this problem before... Lesson Learned ya just never know what our climate can bring
The plants were about 10 feet from the rivers bank and the river itself would have been another 10 feet down last time i saw it
We can usually walk up and through the river with it being about 4 feet deep but it has deep holes about 10-12feet deep that hold massive carp/redfin and trout

The other plants were scattered about 30-50 yards from the river and they ended up under 2 feet of water, there must have been a lot of rain to fill his river and cover his paddocks like that

We will probably plant there again next year, only because its such a good spot north facing slope, river, miles from anywhere but maybe in pots not the ground so they can be moved if need be

i was watching the weather thinking they might get a bit of damage with the heavy rain but not washed away

all this talk of starting fresh, not too late, do it has got me motivated to get back down south where i found suitable running water. Id need a public holiday long weekend do get it all done at once. Next PLweekend guys?

solar pump
Im Going to go with a guy from ebay first place a stupid bid on a listed solar water pump/controller 1x2foot panel and do the cables myself other fittings i dont need, sells for $200buynow which is a good price in oz id be licky to get without the controler. Pump 560gph just over 2000lph vs the 800lph i first thought about so it should work for 1 maybe two sm plots.

Id have to get cloning again :booked:today, just gave away a tray of old and mixed M/F + stain cuts but not before random planting a few:whistling:

30 to 50 yards in and they flooded under 2 plus feet, i havnt had a drop of rain since september alittle wind last few days taking the edge off. 50c in the sun Mon/tue, Wed a touch cooler its driving me nuts.

Is it normal for that area to flood every few years or just freakish.. over here it was a slow start but now a very dry maybey prolonged summer, the seasons are slowly changing if you look back at the last few years local to me maby yourself as if the seasons are two weeks slow:hide:
