Any type of winter is a bad winter, means no growing for me! well, aside from my microgrow. Im hoping to whip up a seed batch of GG#5xAuto Blueberry for this coming year.
I'm hoping to go semi big with a few plants. Put myself through school, you know?

You've inspired me to stick them out nice and early, right when spring hits, hopefully out by the middle of may. I've always been very hesitant, but only time will tell :)

What temps did you have in your very delicious green house& your ambient? do you know? This would help me out greatfully, I can see anywhere from 13*F(-10*C) to 51*F(10*C) in may.

Great to see ya eugenegreen! We're happy folk here... Winter has settled in.... Bunkered down the hatches and have the coffee on.... Always with an eye to the sky... Spring is coming, the days are getting longer. I think I can begin to feel the days lengthening already... :smoke:

Happy New Years! I should be around... We're havin a few friends over and having a Rockband tournement... I'm better at the actual instruments, but its still good fun... :headbange

I can't seem to stay awake during movies... Anyone have this problem? Maybe its because I tend to start them late in the evening, but it took me like 5 times for the wife and I to finish Transformers 2, and I STILL didn't make it to the end!

My old boss said she was the same way, she'd be up all night playin cards, games, dancin, etc, but when it came to watchin a movie, she just couldn't make it... Maybe its common to us high energy folk... :eggnog:

That Guerilla Gold #5 x Auto Blueberry sounds like a nice hybrid... I've seen LOTS of people grow these guerilla gold plants and hybrids, what's been your experience? What is the #5 version? Is that the F5 generation?

You've got to be ready for the spring when it comes.... Research the average last frost date in your area. This is a good guide to when you should plant. Plants should ideally be started indoors about 4-8 weeks before this last frost date and then set outside once its nice enough... The easier, and perhaps better way would be to just wait until about that last frost, maybe a week earlier, and get some seed germinating indoors... Once the seed begins to emerge, set them outdoors, elevated by a table or protected someway so animals can't mess with them. Under the sun they are happiest and grow fast... :tree:

Sounds like you will need to wait until early June to plant. Whats your latitude?

Happy and Safe 2010 New Years guys! :woohoo: :smoke:

Merry Christmas, mossy! We took forever getting back from a snowy family Christmas last evening. We got at least 3 inches maybe 5... Went sledding at the local big hill... It was packed! Had all kinds of fun.. :headbange:

Really is too bad the Mrs. wasn't able to go since she's still recovering from this cold...

Buds definately kept me warm... I got a chance to have a nice bubba kush x bubblegum smoke before we left. One of my Soil Ecology professors was there... Great teacher! Out there throwin it down with his students...

Spring is coming, now we have a bit of time to rest... Thank goodness... I'm a patient man... :smoke:

You certainly can feel them getting longer, they're getting brighter too!

That is definitetly something I'd be down with.

I'd love to see it get started, im just waiting, I owe my insurance company some money, owe my phone bill and a few other minor debts to pay off. I'm urgently awaiting to send in the paper work along with my cash, I just can't wait!!! It is the fifth generation, with the most promising results in my opinnion, it looks relatively stabilized (And I want to cross it with blueberry! to make it less so :D). it's going to be about 200$ for 20 seeds :(. But it'll be definitely worth it! I'm very limited in my grow though, since I don't live alone, I can't grow in the open, I'm forced to grow in my micro grow, as seen in my sig. But hopefully I can pull off about 70-100 seeds from one run. I'm going to germ them all and see which are the fastest, hopefully get a very fast male and very fast female (either genes would work fine for me.) Get my hands a little dirty in the whole breeding process. Hopefully come out with some killer genetics.

I totally agree, but hopefully, i can get some killer seed started by this point :D. Im hoping for it :D.

Yeah June it is, im just over 50*. I was hoping for earlier than that, but it'll probably be too frigid outside.

Thank you, guys! Good to see ya! Hope you all are having a fun winter! :)

Whew 200 for 20 seeds thats quite an amount of money... Why not go for a single pack of 10 seeds for $100? Thats what I would do... It will suit you just fine, you should be able to pull the large majority of the potential individuals of the hybrid into your gene pool if you breed using 10 plants... I bet you'll bet you'll get quite a bit more than 70 to 100 seeds! I'll check your cab out here in a minute...

Gonna get colder before it gets warmer... Stay tuned for some smoke reports over the next several weeks... :smoke:

Yeah, you're right, 200 for 20 seeds is killer, the reason why I want to do semi-full auto this year is for a range of harvest dates. I couldn't possibly harvest that many plants at once, and taking a friend (other than the girlfriend) with me is never an option in my head. If I can harvest a little bit here, and a little more later on will help me out tremendously. I'm going to try to find a cheaper pack of autos, hopefully with some sort of zing to it. [removed]

hehe, anyway!

My cab thread is 'dead'. But cheers for now! :)
im going to update it asap! re flowering a girl :D

Micro, check out Joint Docter's mossy's JEM.... Great place to start if your interested in growing autoflowering plants... Right under yer nose, my friend... :D

Thanks mossy! Happy New Year!

I heard about these ankle biters... We've now got 3 little critters running around for practice... In an extremely short period after being married we picked up a dog, a cat, a guinea pig, and restarted our saltwater aquarium... :)

We're taking the proper precautions, the Mrs. is scared to death of being carrying a child... I have to twist her arm just to get her to say she'll have 2... But she says no more than that no way... :)

I don't see what the big deal is... :bigeye:

I couldn't think of a better place to welcome in the new year than in your garden with a nice round spliff in hand... Wish I had a garden to wallow in... Oh well, dried flowers will do I guess... :D

I don't think I have another finished shot of that PTK... I will look again, but I think I was in a hurry getting those heads out of there because it was about dark and about to rain that day... One of those days when you wish the garden was out in your backyard...

I do have at least a jar of PTK.. I'll make that the next one out of the ground, so I can get you a proper report... Thats my job... :smoke:

Be careful...that is how it all starts......before you know it you will have a house-full :gaga:

ha ha.
Don't worry about photos..we will think about that later..
just chill..relax and enjoy the night.
As I say..chasing hashy traits..highs etc chasing the JEM ancestory I hit PTK more than once..If they are not related..I think they are kindred spirits.

I'd be happy to test her as dwarf rooting to put PTK onto AF.

I've never hit a mongrel yet...:biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Wish I had a garden to wallow in...
Aye m8..I hear Ya..
It is a lot easier for me to work and keep plants in condition than it is for you guerilla..

I'm rising and shining this morning... Can't say the same for the wife... :D

I stuck to my beer, I have gotten sick off rum a couple times in the past couple months, so I know better. At least for now.

We were at the pizza place and got a pitcher of beer to split between the wife and I, a friend of hers came with us for dinner too. We are walking to take our seat with our pitcher (buffet style) and one of the ol boys there who had a family just get done eating offered us the rest of his pitcher... Sweet thanks for the free beer!

So we're getting along well, finish our meal and get close to finishing the beer, and I hear someone at the end of the table ask, " Would you like any more beer?" It was a couple from the table beside us who had a young daughter and it looked like they had got a pitcher because it was the better deal and couldn't finish more than a drink or 2 of it... so more beer.... :)

thats how it all started... Time for breakfast!
