I personally don't adjust pH... and haven't seen a need to with these nutes... others may suggest it.. specially in a hydroponic situation to get rez solution down to 5.8-6.2...

I would only suggest cal-mag as the bloom as little to no Ca to mention...and especially if you are using RO water....
LK is one of my favorites and imo is a must... you dont "need" the other ones... I am mainly using them for flavour enhancement / micro-flora... but it doesn't hurt

hope this helps...

I don't have any meters at the moment so I cant tell you my exact pH... sorry bout that...
your using pvo right? What type of water do you use. So,basicly if I just add water the pvo will balance out correctly between 6.3-6.5 without ph'ing it thanks

yes I am

I am using RO... they say it is 7.2 from the tap (get it from the grocery store.. one of those Culligan machines).

I really can't tell you what the pH will do because for the moment I have no meters to take measurements.... but its not an "auto pH" fert by any means.... (if those even work... AN has a line they claim works) ....I can tell you that the plants are showing no signs of lockout/pH stress.... I am assuming that its above 6.3 at run off... sry that I cant be more help, need data to make a worthy suggestion...

I'm wondering if my testing kit is off cause the readings show 5.0 range and im scare to feed it at that low of ph can i ask whats your feed schedule and do you combine the two grow/blooms and what do you use for calcium i see it has epsom salt in there,so there goes mag.do you add cal/mag with ferts or just with watering.I have cal/mag plus which has organic "n" with iron.Do you add humus acid with your feeding.Im new to these solution so im just trying to it get all dial-in.One more question im trying to use the ph up and down solution and its not working no matter how much ph up I use any suggestion other then lime, also i buy that same ro water for like 30 to 39 cents i forget, thanks for the help

yikes, sounds like I need to get a pH meter... see what it is before it runs through...
could try running it through one and check the run off

I feed every time I water, unless I am flushing... running pro-mix... peat/perlite....amounts I use are on page 6 along with other additives, yes I do mix the grow and bloom... I'm still messing around with it too as I just finished my first group with it
only humic acid that I'm adding that I am aware of is coming from LK and Pure Blend Bloom
Sweet and cal/mag plus; I use 2ml/gal for both

what solutions are you using to trying to pH adjust?

im using General Hydroponics,pH Up (Base) is formulated using Potassium Hydroxide and Potassium Carbonate
It was said that I need sodium bicarbonate or lime in other to rise the ph in organic solution which doesn't make sense because I used fox farm big bloom and that same ph up solution worked. Can ph up and down expire like nutes maybe thats my problem i don't know but I will figure it out

very odd indeed... I don't have much exp with solutions (as I add a bit lime to my medium) but I've heard the GH works pretty well.... lime will most definitely work...I'm sure many would suggest it as it is cheap and it works..... I would assume that the effectiveness of your solutions would diminish over time... like anything... but I do not know how long that will take... maybe some one with GH exp can chyme in....

well that explains it you have lime in your soil which will buffer the solution so you have nothing to worry about that what i said.hey, striker do you have a grow log

Thanks... much appreciated :) got it for $125 CND from a guy off ebay(picked up to... one for veg as well,) pretty good quality imo.... bonus was no off gassing issues... which was nice :)
next set of plants will be better yielding... started flower at 7.5" tall on the first group so I could figure out how these nutes work..... the next will have been in veg for around 40 days now... both strains should like it a little better...

a carbon filter is key... :joint:

I used Pura Vida Bloom on my last grow. I was impressed. but I wondered about it because the plants behaved as if it contained Potassium Nitrate. Nothing wrong with a little K2SO4, but I didn't know how they'd get the OMRI stamp with it. Now I know. I just bought a gallon and it has replaced my beloved EUROPEAN Bio Bizz Bloom. I emphasize European because the GH version, available in the states, is way different ...like the weakest bloom nute I've ever used. Increasing the dosage didn't help because the ratios of NPK were different. But, that's not an issue now as I've found a suitable rplacement. No more paying more for shipping than I did for the nutes.

Don't be a Knucklehedd. Potassium Nitrate is KNO3.

I have these same samples. They seem great so far, but what's up with the bloom not being organic or OMRI listed? Are they organic or aren't they?

I believe it is because of the process in which they attain a necessary compound that is not recognized by the OMRI...yet.... the discussion is a bit further back in this thread I believe... talking about why it had its OMRI label removed... cant say this is the right answer.. as I was skimming responses quickly... but they are still claiming its organic....

PVO is working very well with me.... I am pleased... buds have a nice aroma :D got pics of the dried buds... will be putting them up tonight... maybe Ill drop a pic in here once they are uploaded
