I ordered one of those HomeBox's with my credit card, from a big hydro retailer, shipped to my apartment. I was going to start a small grow in this 3.3 ft tall box, but the way it was shipped has got me thinking about scrapping the whole grow. It was shipped in the manufacturer's box that says "Homebox" across the top, as well as some size specifications. The logo is like a cartoonish picture of a green flower inside the shape of a house. Other tenants in my building could have seen the box leaning against the front door. I think the FedEx guy was probably let in the front door to the building.. actually not really sure where the box was left and who handled it or stopped to look at it. It was there for probably about 6 hours before I got home and saw it. It arrived more than 2 weeks ago and nothing has happened, but I think I may be too paranoid to go through with this grow. Opinions welcome.

I remember thinking similar when i bought a homebox, i bought from a shop and wrapped it up tight before i took it home, i guess it could be used to grow anything and thats probably the angle the homebox people want to take - but you would epxect a good grow shop to be discreet with packaging.
I very much doubt fedex will tell leo you bought a grow tent, if they did, i very much doubt they would care, the fact that people might have seen it would worry me - i think its a decison you have to make for yourself though m8.

Unless the homebox had live marijuana plants in it, you're fine. I think you're just being a little too paranoid. If there's nothing illegal about what you were doing, how are you going to handle things that are actually illegal - like growing weed? The paranoia alone is reason to scrape the grow.

wow discreet is key if you have no reason for anyone to look at you other than a box you are going to be fine but if there is more reasons someone would look at you more than once its up to you good luck.

Depending on how the next few weeks go and how people 'respond' to your presence when you walk by.... this may be the best advice so far.My friend i hope you let it set new in the box until you move to a new apartment
I live in a medical friendly state, am 100% legal and STILL have to be as careful as you're being right now. Last thing I need is someone breaking in and stealing 2 months worth of sanity from me.

I have had this happen with a few supplies being retail box shipped . some items are a trouble to double box . I think it sucks big time they send it like that . I would just go for it and start my grow but that's just me .But I can guarantee your neighbors read to see whats on the box . its human nature
Should you really have to hide your dildo or weed if that's your fancy? But just out of common decency no neighbor wants to see the other's sex toys

The label on the box reads WWW.HOMEBOX.NET, so even if it would have never occured to whoever saw it that a "Homebox" could be related to anything illegal, all they had to do was go to the website and wise up real fast.

Clear your apartment of anything that is accociated with weed. Leave not even a seed. Then get some of that skunk essence that they sell to trappers/hunters. Spay it in the hallway every night until they raid you. Then you can open up shop or sue for the trauma inflicted by the bad raid (you are sure to be beaten or mistreated in the bogus raid)
