Thanks for the rundown bro. Damn, 26 plants is a lot under 1K, but I once rammed 18 under a 600 in a cab that was 2' x 4' so who am I to talk. Yeah, I was hoping we would be able to catch up when I get up that way. Should have a nice variety done by then.

On a side note, I have a homemade bubble cloner and the water is getting a sludge buildup as well. Do you know why this happens? Do you add anything to the water in the cloner? i.e. nutes? thanks again and things are looking spectacular.

zeus-no i didnt switch, just not cooling this light this time, and not setting up my second light. i have a power issue at this house, but my land lord came by for a visit yesterday and he liked my crib so much(blew him away actually) i dont think he will ever be worried about this place again, so i may run a 220 dryer line in here for my breaker setup i built at last house. as long as i move single light regularly it should be ok but not great. room will evolve as seasons change. thanks man

oldsoul-haha it ios a lot, but i makin it work somehow. not my plan but life's plan. should grow up dank though i will baby them. cloner issue like slime are usually from high temps. i got it again in this cloner after i posted the update next day i noticed a few with probs and some truckin along fine. once i notice slime i toss. maybe i cut with dirty scissors or something and cuts are infected or something and others i used diff scissors. trial and error for me now. for 2 years i had 100% succes on 100s of cuts and all of the sudden prob after prob, but alwways a new environment to deal with. i will be researching my issue and get back to you on that. i used to add light light nutes, but plain water is all this time. was trying out a diff approach.

boss- last run 12.5 zips from 13 plants in smaller containers and smaller sized b4 flip. many diff variable from last grow. if i get 20 oz that would rock. any more is nicer. 2k is ideal in my situation, but a promise to my lady is a promise. good luck on your endevours man. thanks for poppin in and be lookin for your stuff soon.

oh and a note for myself and to old soul.

the slime I am encountering seems to be linked to cuts i took with a particular pair of scissors. scissors were dirty with resin and who knows what else. the rest of my clones are all fine and healthy to this point, and show no signs of problems starting.... lets hope this keeps up. i know that temp issues can also create a slime or bacteria prob

if there is any one out there who might be able to confirm these possibilities for piece of mind please feel free to add...

and to tonatiuh- i know sooner or later your gonna fly through and say yours, so let me ask now. i know you built your ez cloner and was wondering what size pump you run GPH. i built one also a long time ago and never used it cause my homie built one too and ran it b4 me and said his temps were to high. stuck to the bubblers yo. now i am thinking of using my sprayer manifold and want a safe pump. and also do you run it 24/7? i would think so but never know someones techniques. if ya get this cool if not no worries just closed mouths dont get fed lol ask at your spot too.

BR- thanks man here are some new ones from today. not sure how far along atm.

first the moms though

the order of them was strawdzl- gdp purp- gdp blue- cloner and KK A rooted the rest of the clones are free of probs still. the others all got rot at the same time. i have to think it was the scissors still. no one has gotten to me on that. i guess no one has had this prob with dirty scissors. lets hope the others make it too. they look fine. my temps may be a lil cold atm.

here is the flower area. in a few of the pics you can see the feeding system. its simple pvc with the 1/2 in. rubber grommets to incert the 1/4in. drip line. and in case you were wondering what the perlite was for i was noticing a few soil knats so i am hoping to kill em off haha hehe ha

that front row is all the tall ass stretchy strains. there is 7 plants there, the KK mutant is on the 5 gal bucket stack gettin hand watered. it is blocking the view of the middle plant on the table there. but the left 3 are bam bams and the next 3 to that are the even flows and the last one is Kaui kush A. the only short one in the row is the middle evenflow. i think it is C . i had to super crop a few branches in that row that were higher than the KK A tops and out of the lights. the Evenflows and bam bams really needed it. it also had a lil somethin to do with the placement of them... imo it didnt help the stretch of em ne wayz. here is a shot of Supercropped EF

Man, looking great Sir! That room is full for sure. Them girls sure got their stretch on! Gonna love watching them get their bud on.

As far as the sludge, I have only used the same razor the whole time, and it was brand new, so I don't think that is it. I have given up with the bubble cloner for now and gone to rockwool and trying to perfect cloning in coco. The coco has been taking longer but the cuts are healthy as can be. The rockwool has been quicker, but the cuts look like shit by the time they root so I don't know. Probably gonna save up and just buy an EZ Cloner.

Things are looking great dude. I really like the drip irrigation system that you setup there. How many GPH is your water pump that your using for feeding? and how many times a day is your system set to water? I am thinking about setting up this type of system when I set back up because it just makes things so much more automated.. Anyway things are looking killer my friend. yo OS , i am gonna have to say that in my case scissors it is. i took cuts at majors house with his snips and those are fine and i got home and took a second wave of cuts with mine and all of those got rot/slime. i am getting more than slime, they nearly disintergrate when i touch em. i have thought about going straight coco lately myself. i dont mind the extra rooting time, i just would take cuts sooner than normal. i also built an ez cloner and dont have a proper pump to use on it. i asked tona about his, but i dont think he has responded to that yet. thanks for peekin they gonna blow up soon.

NK- thanks man i am liking it also. the pump is 565 gph, but i could do with lil less in this situation, but the stream is nice and easy, with the perlite diffusing the stream it is even better now. i have on a timer for 2x a day 30 sec each, but currently i unplugged the timer and am watering 1x a day, because i have 3 plants that arent big drinkers and those individual trays are screwing me there. soon enough the pace will pick up on those and i can put on timer again and back 2 2x a day later in flower. the res is 30 gal and @ 1x a day thats about a week worth. i need to get a real tray so i can get good runoff on my flush days. so far i have had to manually drain runoff from trays that are waterlogged 2x and it sucked ass. thats why i will eyeball watering needs til they kind of even out. IMO when you het the chance you should go automated if in coco. allows more time for you or to spend on other activities in the garden. i like my garden more when its not working me constantly. i go sit in there and enjoy instead of work work work now. look for future runs to get more laid back man thats where i am headed hopefully

Looks real nice dude, whats the wattage?? yes sir automated is great for less abled peeps. i keep trying to get maj on board with it, but he likes dragging em all out and workin his bad back. hell it keeps him busy i guess, but it makes for a tired back. i hate tired back lol i am gettin lazy i guess haha

Cali- ok where to start.
no not trans again- already in gal bags- 10 in 100% coco and 15 in 50/50 coco/perlite
watering 1x a day now- increasing with plants uptake- prob end with 2x- water til runoff
1k in the cool tube as usual and hung the 400hps to deal with the end plants. it would be better footprint and use of light in a hood, but i just slapped it up and dont care right now. i just want to get through this grow and get to a dialed run. i didnt have any money to build proper setup. this is truely pot for pennies status. it looks clean and is built well, but all from scrap wood and parts except the plywood.
so far the verticle light is doing fine though. fortunantly for me i know my strains and arranged them so they would form a stadium appearance and the light hangs in the stadium shape well and doesnt waste to much light. basically it is surrounded by plants on sides and bottom. will go 2k soon and be all ducted properly and prob have the AC in there to later on. i just hung this rig up and started growing. flipped as soon as my plants recovered from the bad light from the sudden move. damn that reminds me if i hadnt of moved i would be chopping today already( the 10 in 100% coco) shit i am down to hash and a few nugs.... some one help

Glad ya figured out what your cloning problem was, too bad it wasn't as easy for me. I don't mind the extra time it is taking cloning in coco but I like the bubble cloners cause they are automated. Just cut em and forget em. I need something automated so I can leave for a few days when I want. The wife has been driving me nuts about that. Can't wait til ya upgrade to 2k, gonna be a great show. When you use the AC do you still exhaust the lights?
