its uni sex
(LEO boots and camo pants, see everyone wear camo pants around here)

I don't know, jeans n' stuff.

Most of the chicks I've been with have joined me in mocking metrosexual fashionista beta-males. Chicks in general want a man to act like a man, so I don't really understand the male interest in fashion/clothing?

I have an affinity for Polo. IDK why but everything I wear is Polo.

I have a few reasons. One being that the shit lasts for years. And another is I am six and a half feet tall and Polo has the largest "tall man's" line.

Everything from my boots to my hat is always polo.

I take heat for it from my friends but I cannot get in to the whole urban, "rapper gone designer" scam.

I dont buy clothes often, but when I do, I get Polo.

With my body type it is hard to find clothes that fit right cuz my torso is longer. So most shirts are too short. And washing them one time will render them useless. So I find the XLT size. After years of frustration, (and MrsSwamp will agree to how picky I am about clothes) I settled with Polo because it fits.

I know it is somewhat expensive but I still have Polo gear fro '98 that fits like new and still looks decent.

I like the design of the boots and the jeans always fit right. The shirts last a lot longer than any other brand. I also like the fabric designs and it is easy to put a nice outfit together when it all pretty much matches.

I kinda chuckle when I dig through my closet and see all those horses. But that is one thing about my character.

Mrs.Swamp hates it cuz I am never happy with anything but Polo gear. She says I need to lower my standards but I just cant bring myself to feel good without rocking Polo.

I guess it is a flaw of mine but one I am happy to support since I feel good about myself when I am dressed in my Polo gear. Been this way since highschool over a decade ago.

I also dont look like the average stoner. I just feel good when I am in those threads. No other style of clothes fits me well enough.

So I guess the reason has nothing to do with my love of growing or smoking the herb but more how my body is built that makes me this way.

Hey, if it makes you feel good about yourself, then why not?

Polo huh?

:p

All these years i havent been able to find good PROPERLY fitting jeans, cos im tall and have long legs - most jeans i buy are wide at the top and then narrow at feet around here which suck, only once i found a proper fitting long legged jeans made by Top Shop but havent seen anything since...

I have the same problem Swampdank, will have to look into their line again.

I live out in the country, so when I'm at home it's stuff that can get muddy (jeans and sweatshirts.)

At work I have to meet clients, so usually slacks and an Oxford shirt (no ties thank god)

Out on the town I usually overdress, go for the Armani tux and pretend like I just got back from some secret spy mission and had to kill a hundred bad guys. lol

No I'm kidding, I usually wear expensive shoes, expensive cologne, and an expensive watch. The rest is whatever is clean.

See, that's your prob. man, you need to get with the times. Now the "IN" thing all the fashionistas are raving about is the "EMO" look, tight jeans, lotsa black, multi colored hair and constant crying and questioning of your sexual preference.

Well, that's just like, your opinion, man. :biglaugh:
I love the Big Lebowski.

Anyway, I guess more fashionable people would call me an unfashionable chick. But I don't care. Comfort is better than trying to please others. Unless, of course, you're wearing your pants halfway down your legs. That's just wrong.

Swamp, I feel your pain...though I suffer from lack of height lol. I'm only 5' tall so it is difficult for me to find jeans that fit correctly, because to top it all off, my thighs are kinda big. And, if I buy regular t-shirts, they normally are too long for me. I wish there were more "short people" stores. I hate how Victoria's Secret makes all of their clothing, bras, underwear for women who are only over 5'6". :(
