I got Modern Warfare 2 as a gift for my oldest son for Christmas . Can you get banned from playing live for misbehaving ?

Only things that will really get you banned are consistant cheating or being very blatantly racist. It's a very competitive game online so people are always trash talking each other, no need to worry about getting banned for that.

I have xbox and PS3 so can help on either system. I prefer the xbox though as it offers access to very useful people who help me break these games down and get the best from them.

I've also completed the campaign on Veteran and got all but one of the achievements ( cant be bothered with Pit Boss yet, my hands are not quick enough with the pistol, need to do this when i'm more stoned! ) so if you need help with campaign or getting achievements easily let me know and i'll sort you out.

The other most common thing i get asked is where is the hidden intel. If you need this you should play the snowmobile level. The intel is hidden in the glade before the first jump. Go down the hill and to the right as normal. When you turn left to go through the glade and up the hill you will notice a copse of trees in the middle of the area. the trees are sort of eye shaped and there's fencing all around the outside of the map but not the trees. The intel is in the middle of this glade just after the first row of trees and you need to drive the snowmobile over it to pick it up. It's the only intel you dont get on foot which is why people miss it often. Thanks to my clanmates for finding it by accident on an exploration run!!!!!

I've got the Pit Boss ach., the secret is to use the M9 and the 45 with the tactical knife, try to hit multiple targets with one bullet, increases your accuracy and shaves more time off. My best time was 28.6.

I got as far as counting the rounds and agree the M9 for clip size but i'm lazy and cant be bothered with doing that one. I think it's because the last one on COD4 gave me so much trouble. I did however complete the game in the pit for a laugh. I did it to get the 3 starts with a friend and have 30.something time score but lost heart after that. Dont forget you can take 2 people into this which halves the targets and means one player each run can take extra time off for not having to spend much time on targetting.

Did you also know you can complete the game before you start it. Simply go to the pit, look up and shoot shitherd in the face. Credits roll and it's game over! Superb fun.

I'm moving over to Operation Flashpoint now for a bit of open world realism. It's buggy in places but pretty cool. If you haven't played it then it's worth a little time and attention.

i went 28-0 today on that excavation map and didnt have my nuke killstreak equipped!!! hahaha just my luck.....first time i get a 25+ killstreak and i dont have my nuke..

I'm moving over to Operation Flashpoint now for a bit of open world realism. It's buggy in places but pretty cool. If you haven't played it then it's worth a little time and attention.

i got flashpoint too...i like the games realism but damn it is waaay too buggy. so many times ive been shot through buildings or have objectives freeze or dissapear. its like they didnt hire any game testors or anything...also they really need a sliehgt of hand perk because it takes way too long to switch weapons, etc.

I have a list of all the cheats and boosts if you want. I fully intended to go in and ruin gameplay to object at the imbalance but decided it would only hurt players and i really couldn't care enough to be honest so i didn't bother. There are many glitches though.

Dude! I didn't know there were so many glitches. No wonder! I kept on going back to the first modern warfare and was wondering what the hell went wrong in multiplayer...

This totally ruins multiplayer for me. Hope they fix this since I am a non cheater.

I posted ages ago i this thread about being unable to play MW2 even though I had it. I just got my TV and surround plugged in. My Xbox and everything is working. I don't have it networked yet. Not that I would have any business being online at all right now. I'm about to go see what this game is all about and humbled by my newbie-ness.

Op Flashpoint is very buggy, i have got to the point where i'm almost not enjoying it now. Was fun at first but i agree, i started a level and walked forward only to get oneshotted to the face immediately, continued downhill after that so may need to review game choice. Mass effect kept me busy this weekend though, damn good game.

As for bugs in MW2, this is why i dont play multiplayer anymore. I'll join a match if my clan are getting owned just to level the field but i wont play for fun anymore. For me it's only when big mouths come on and give it the biggun! I love taking braggers out. Spent most of this weekend opening my front door to friends holding their xboxs out to me and begging me to get their star 69 for them though! Seems i'm one of the few to have that achievement. I thought there would be more people into spec ops than MP but it seems i was wrong.

Glad to hear i've helped some of you complete the levels your stuck on. If there are any more or your interested in cheats and glitches to play around with in MP let me know. I enjoy getting people's games completed just as much as i love whoring my own account.

Campers do annoy, they are just opportunistic annoyances. A true sniper has a rifle, not a fucking AR! AR = camper/ SR = Sniper! The thermal is really limited though, they spend so much time looking at the scope they fail to realise that there are perks to avoid it and they can be caught out easily once you know they are on the map.

I used to carry the throwing knife just so i could make killing them personal enough to make them hunt me or at least send me some hate mail.

Anyone else collect hate mail? I love getting it and actively strive to annoy some people. There's some real inventive tricks to wind people up you can use. Check the vid below for an example of true ownership!

im not experiancing any bugs in multiplayer. they fixed the javelin BS. the only annoying shit is campers but once they kill you once its easy to sneak around them and get payback...

the worst glitch in flashpoint is how the buildings and radar towers (sprites) become hollow and become simply images. You can walk right through them, but cannot see through them. For some reason the AI can see through the buildings as if they are not there, only way to fix is to restart the match.

so frustrating, i got so far in one mission and then the radar tower i was supposed to blow up become hollow. i threw 3 satchels on it and nothing happened. how the fuck did they not hire some video game testors, i would have gladly done that..
