Hehe thanks Red!

Merry Christmas to you all, now burn some trees!

I started processing some of my last crops trim into quick ISO (qwiso) last night, wow what a treat. I filled a regular mason jar 2/3 full of good cleaned trim, covered with 99% ISO, let it sit 30 seconds, shake 30 seconds, strain through 4 paper towels onto a glass pan, and dry! This morning I scraped it all up, 2 batches yielded about 4 grams of gorgeous sticky icky. I can't even touch it, it melts to the fingers in an instant. Oh and it burns pure, clean white ash and OOF is it strong!

Highly recommended, easy and simple.

Oh and the girls are huge btw, I need to go do my second pruning!

Well that was a crazy week. Glad it's over.

Sittin by the fire with a laptop and watching a movie, stoned on some pretty killer fullmelt, and a cold beer. I'd still be happy if I were on fire myself! :)

Thanks guys! Same to you, Merry Christmas, happy Hannukah, Ramadan, whatever you please!

I was refiltering and purging the iso hash last night when I overheated my crystal tray and shattered it in my hands, oops! I scraped most of it up, dissolved it in more iso and filtered it again to get the glass out of it (there was a fair amount!) so it will be redried and repurgerd later today. I was wrong on the yield though, a pound of trim gave up 16 grams of gooey full melt bubble. I was keeping it in the freezer because you can't touch it at room temp, lol. I got to smoke some of it yesterday, goood shit! Pics soon, I promise.
Man, I just came down with a cold, I hate being sick on weekends.

Dude Lazy that is some serious hash. I think i might work my trim with the bubble bags later today myself.

Not to mention your plants are doing some serious growing. Happy Holidays Lazy. :joint:

Thanks 707, same to you buddy, hope you and yours are happy and healthy.

Yep did another big batch of iso last night, a little over a half P of trim so it will be a good batch. The remaining 5 #'s will be done with bubble bags though, takes 3-4 pints of 99% iso to do a qp of trim.

Hey lazy...have you tried ice hash? If so, i'm wondering how you feel the difference is between that and ISO hash?

Good question and good timing, I just got high off some of the ISO.

Yeah, I usually make ice/bubble hash, I think the ISO is more concentrated for sure, and actually smoother to smoke. The ISO has less contaminants, since it's filtered through a couple coffee filters (I did mine twice through 2 filters) so less crap in your lungs. The taste is clean and sweet, and a little chunk goes a loooong way. Like lasts 3 of us 2 days.

The bubble is much easier to handle though (once pressed), ISO is so sticky! I also think ISO is easier to make, as you don't have to press it, once it's dry, I scrape it up, heat it a bit to make sure it's purged well, and then scrape it into a blob and freeze it on waxed paper, ta-da!

Bubble hash is a ton more work, and takes longer to dry , requires expensive bags,
and can be a pain to press a bunch if you don't have a hashpress. I also don't have to haul a couple hundred pounds of ice home too, just a bunch of bottles. Gotta start buying it by the gallon somewhere though, I don't like that part.

Yep, I like ISO way better, overall.

Purple Mr Nice at 3 weeks, the sidelighting plants are doing well, I'd say a week behind in overall bud weight/development, but I can give them extra time this run.

Jackpot, these are some of the happiest, healthiest plants I've ever grown. Giant 9 finger fans, stems are at least 1/2" wide on most plants, they're monsters and already growing little nugs:

Thanks guys! Yeah, it's pretty nuts in there, just having to do a lot of manual temperature control right now with these 32*F nights!
