WEED PRICES CRASH!!!!!!!!!!

D

danny karey

I believe it, prices are geting even better in my area, I just got a QP of supposedly bubba kush(it's probebely not bubba, but some very killer smoke for sure) for 650$. It makes sense to me, if people are desperate for cash cause they lost there jobs why wouldn't they sell it for what ever they could get. I would think the people that lost there jobs wouldn't be able to wait to get that good price for there dope, they need money to put a roof over there heads, and there familys heads, food, car payments/gas/up keep..........Pretty hard to pay for all that with out a job, so if they can sell it now for say 100$ a Z why would they wait to get say 200$ when they need the money at the end of the month to pay there mortgage. Most banks, and hydro company's and other places like that don't care if ya don't have the money, they want the cash right now.

It's happening in my city, so I believe it........and whats with all these people saying buddy is lying? who the fuck are you to say shit? You don't know what the prices are in the OP's town, how could you......So saying that you don't believe him is really talking out your ass, cause you don't know shit about where he's from or his local economy.

I find alot of people here talk out there ass alot of times about shit they know nothing about, it's pretty amusing.

Its really hard to complain about being poor when you sell top quality herb at $100 an ounce. To me that is poor by choice, for the sake of remaining in the "comfort zone" of familiar people and places.. By now somebody should have grown some balls for the sake of the entire community and found some connections outside of town to help boost the local economy. If I were you id apply for some financial aid and enroll in the nearest University. Find a really hot girl that has lots of friends that love to get high for cheap. Its all downhill from there.

I absolutely believe the prices stated are correct. I also believe I'd move my wares to a better market to bring home top dollar to my wife and kids, But then again the wife and kids would have no $ if I got hemmed up in some stupidity on the way.
Risk vs Reward as always.

IThe nearest "big town" is a few hours away, but most folks here don't know anybody that lives there that they could sell weed to. Im sure there are a few people that have other outlets, but most here dont.
That's the truth all over.

The best product in the world isn't going to sell itself and since it's an item under prohibition.... the problem is even bigger.

If you were able to find a few reliable outlets.... you would do well for yourself in brokering for the other growers. Make a bit more cash available for yourself and the growers as well. Everyone wins. :D

Around 200 and who knows how much that person marks it up?

You can intentionally try to drop the prices of weed but like someone said earlier you will also drop the motivation for the people growing it, hence breeders lose money, seed market takes a dive and everyone just loses interest in general.

No one is gonna grow indoors to support themselves financially and take such a risk for no profit.
Even outdoor risks wouldn't be worth the risk for $800 a pound.

Wow, pot has held the same value here for years. The prices are the same as they were in 87! Which is weird that this is the only industry not hit by inflation.

if the op is from california, i completely believe him. he market right now is beyond flooded with cheap, crap outdoor. on the online classifieds, im seeing lb's for $500-1000 all day long! outdoor always kills the market, but this year is way worse then ive seen in years. i know growers on the verge of bankruptcy and homeless right now, sad time..........
tried to off my brainwreck to the clubs here in the bay area. took 5 clubs to get a price of $3200, mind you it blew away 90% off the product i saw. most of the clubs did not want to pay more then $2500 for indoor.
every time the outdoor market floods, i wonder why i didnt do anything big outdoor's.........:tree:

I have seen prices posted on private boards of up to 700 a zip this week, for name brand clones. Luckily, the good people there have the option of using my service for better quality at less than half that price. I think it is AN that drives up some prices.

Im not sure where you folks live, but no weed ever sells for more than 200$ an oz around here. 1600$ a pound is normally considered pretty good money. People here don't have much money so if your'e a grower and you want to sell the weed, people have to be able to afford to buy it.

Most of the glut of weed has come from people in the community that normaly grow a few plants for their own use but because they have lost their jobs and are desperate for income from any place, they've grown a crop this past summer. They arent really dealers and dont know more than a dozen or so smokers. I know more than a few people sitting on pounds and pounds of weed selling it 1 oz at a time. Every ounce sold around here is the result of a bidding war. "who needs money the worst"

This wont continue and a lot of the people who grew pot this year with dreams of big money are disapointed and unlikely to grow next year. Im not sure what the weed market will look like next year.

I grow and smoke weed and give quite a bit away, but I don't sell it.

You can't get an ounce of anything that is smokeable for under $400 here and even then, most of time, it is schwaggy.

So yeah this yr in economically depressed SooR just in this county I know of well over 200lbs
of mid to high grade O/D that are just sitting. PDX is relatively flooded and the players aren't giving up any market there as are the other metros of Or. In Eugene 5-packs are going @1500/lb. There are still small niche markets that will get just over 200 but they are shrinking fast.
Cannabis is just far too easy to grow outdoors to get more than 500 lb at this rate and indoor "boutique" weed will fall to >150 a zip within the next year.
Despite sitting on poundage now no one I know has any intention of going anything but larger next year.
Hear that Cali buyers? Oregon is close and is sitting on a lot of cheap, quality product that has no outlet here.
The reality has not really sunk in that no one is gonna get 3500/lb for 50lbs so stubborness is a big factor but come spring there will be a lot of folks wondering what to do with last yrs as they are planting this yrs.
Oh and I have driven 2500mile round trips to get >3000 net/lb in a safe market but am loathe to travel a few hundred south to my old home state to haggle and feel screwed by the club buyers I do know.
market is changing and getting ready to 'weed' out a lot of players sucks for them just like it did back in the eighties when CAMP changed the economy or NorCal. The die hards who have kept it simple and their costs low will still be competative while those who simply count on a huge profit margin will fail. It is happening right now and cheaper cannabis is the future.

just getting some in the UK just now is difficult
and quality is expensive, most of the average "street weed" available is still damp, forget about cured
your lucky if you can smoke it right out the bag, and the pity is some of it is acctually pretty good weed
if you give it time to dry & cure, I was given a bit a few weeks ago and I shoved it in my stash box as it was still a bit damp
it was there for 3 weeks and when I smoked it it was pretty nice but it lost about 1/3 of the weight
its selling for about £160+ for an Oz like that, so your acctually only getting 18 - 20g for your money
so the true price for on Oz is about £240
