They should!

Funny you should mention pistils...Voodoo has 2 strains with notable pistil characteristics...Madness is the curliest, serpentine things I've seen, and the White Diesel you have has the largest, thickest pistils I've seen...kinda like cactus needles.

so...I'm guessing Voodoo was the recipient of the Madness genetics I donated to PNC v1.0

back to the p91 for a second.... Voodoo by the look of your pics I have the same cut. What are your thoughts on her? She doesn't seem like anything special to me and I grew up in North County where she was THE shit, like empty your change drawer for a gram shit. Back in the day , when she hit the street , people tapped their savings for a piece. I am giving her a mediocre review at best. Any one else care to chime in on this particular cut of the p? Maybe I am missing something here....

ps, that yellowing on the madness is prolly a cal/mag deficiency. I never gave her enough attention in my garden but noted HUGE potential and it's when the size started packing on that the yellowing really got underway. I bet you could pull over 3lbs with her under a thowie. If I did her again, I'd hit her with some cal/mag 4.5 weeks in.. just my thoughts...

voodoo-thanks for the pics man...the reason i ask all these questions is cuz the cut i got back from ape and gave to a bro for safekeeping wasnt actually madness....she is incredibly similiar looking till about 40 days into flower...by which time she is yellow...last night i turned on my lights and was hit by a smell of blueberries or some kinda fruit...its bizarre cuz im looking at the colas thinking it has to be madness...the branching pattern..madness...the look of the leaves...mdness...the smell..something else that doesnt resemble madness at all...not even close...def a wonderful resiny fruity smell...the side buds of this cut i have dont swell to her standards and have a ice lime green color to them... weirdest thing...i know ape was doing some crosses back in the day...unlikely but possible...i had crossed her to c99 but i cant remember poppin any of those beans(dont ean it didnt happen though! ha)...i dont know what the hell is goin on.....haha
---humble-the got i got from ape a few years ago was just like the commercial p91 i got from the early 2000's and had that 'deep sleep' characteristic i talk about when it comes t p91...what i found though, is while it was the shit back in the day, i have access to so many more cuts now then i did back then, that she doesnt quite standup like she did back then...then again, it could just be this isnt the same exact cut but a cross...i dont know though, the one we ran was pretty much what i remembered...see if i can dig up a pic or two of what we had.....

Well the last batch was jaw dropping, but Shan is good at what he does. From the trimmings we've taken off the lowest branches (cause lets be real, this is my first grow and Im nearly always second guessing myself) have solid smoke - even at week 4! I can't wait to see how she turns out at the end of the run, especially now that I've had a lot more time to critique growing setups and nutrient mixes.

No worries, from what I understood the major characteristic that defines madness is the "squiggly" pistils. I would be interested in your fruity pheno ;) sounds neat. Got pics?

Oh by the way, IGS had a sale this weekend and gave me a whole mountain of samplers from botanicare! I have since introduced them with the heavier watering cycle to start addressing these nutrient deficiencies since my organic teas don't seem to have just the right mix yet.

Interesting... yours didn't branch out at all. Mine seems to be way more concerned with staying as bushy and branching as much as possible.

Side note, has anyone else here tried Canna Terra Professional Plus? I just started some clones in the stuff, they seem pretty happy. Ill be running this stuff for the next grow and do a comparison between coco and the coco/peat/castings route.

subrob- Is that a bean on the tip of that cola? Also, did you over estimate the stretch or does she just stay small?

Thanks bud

hi guys...., those plants were flowered very small, and extra branches were cut off....if you veg her normally you will get branches coming off branches coming off branches...she will turn into a tangled mess that wouldnt let light from a nuclear blast penetrate through her canopy!
---that new terra line(just new here in the states) from canna is supposed to be the shit....commercial growers who are using cannabio(if there are any haha) will be switching over...the nly reason to stay with bio is for personal headstash...i never run out so i will stick w the bio line..ive spoiled myself...haha

---nah, at the time my bro was growing very small plants, he was literally growing in the top shelf of his wifes closet! ha...heres a few other examples...green crack, the bubba dutch cut, and strawberry cream....my favorite of his plants were the 'mini madness' but i couldnt find the snaps of them, though you can see them on the madness thread i linked above

the biocanna soil is nice (dutch/german peat) I got good yield
but extravagant to ship from europe..

In RI with few caregivers for many patients I'm thinking I need hydro/aero to keep up with the demand quick growth/yield.

I don't have the luxury of biocanna anymore.....

Subrob, I was gifted some dutch bubba ssh cut from wick a few years back. Definitely not a ssh I am used to. I was wondering where that fits in your room. I have pulled 2 lbs from it with 5 week veg in GM1000's. Last run it was 15% of the plant count putting out 60% of the pull. JK

That unfortunately went thru the last year trying other flavors looking for the best tree specimen. I find what I have been making on my own is equal to most I find but I travel in a small circle of friends. JK
