you should cook with it instead. Only make hash with saved up shake, or free grown nug. It wont pay off otherwise at all.

BS. My iso is FMCD, even my second washes. It looks like amber jolly rancher candies. Maybe you never had the iso and bud/trim cold enough? This step helps alot to keep it from turning any shade of green. I recommend iso because its alot easier to source quality iso, 91% works great, the other 9% is distilled water, and you can get it at any store with a first aid section. Liters cost me 2.50. That will yield me at least two gs of rock hard FMCD amber iso hash oil. Below is a little pro con list to help yummybud, its a quick one, so if anybody wants to add fell free. Ill admit bho is awesome, just maybe not for the beginner hash maker, but my current situation doesnt allow me to make bho, so all my trim and a good bit of my harvest is going to iso. No offense but my iso is very akin to bho. Peace, good topic, I'm always tempted to turn my entire crop into hash of various types,

Pros of Iso-
*easy, cheap to source pure iso
8very easy to process
*not as combustible as butane
*good return
*you need a mason jar, mesh strainer, and coffee filters, I bet you already have that?

Cons of iso-
*easy to wash in too much chlorophyll, some people just cant seem to get it, maybe its the starting material?
* takes about an hour to evap on double boiler, with lots of ventilation, preferably outside if possible

Pros of bho
*quick to purge
*easy to attain quality product
*good return

Cons of bho-
* hard to source triple refined butane that isnt going to leave residue behind
*expensive, more money for solvent per gram of bud/trim
*need a stainless tube, depending on your area might be hard to find easily, Thanksgiving helps tho
*definitely needs to be done outside, I know some people do it inside, but as quickly as butane purges off it can fill a space very quickly an be an explosion hazard, note cali cases

I refuse to make BHO because i do not want to kill myself. ISO still is dangerous, and one can burn their dwelling down while making it. I get a much purer hash from bubble bags than i did from iso. i tried all kinds of ways over the years, it fucking blows, in my opinion. not saying you dont get high, i know you do bro, but i need taste now. im beyond justing getting "fucked up", i need quality now. otherwise go to walmart and get a pack of air dusters....

iso washing is more dangerous!!! And Butan method give u a way cleaner product!!!! It sooo easy tasty and potenter than iso!!!

i've read about 2 guys burning their houses down in the past 3 months making bho.
if you make it outdoors its not so bad, as long as you can restrict wind. basically no more dangerous then deep frying turkeys, which we did 2 this year. but if things go wrong, you can call up and say you were deep frying a turkey

I know some dumb asses how heat the bho up after making it ....with a lighter!!! and of course not all the gass was gone!! and they not turned into fried turkeys and also not into fried jackasses!! the goood oil was up in fire and nearly all gone but thats all!!!!

With 27 grams as your bankroll, don't bet it all unless you know you can pull it off. My 1st ISO Hash got burnt when evaporating the alcohol and taste like crap. Maybe that's the way it was supposed to taste.

Next time I'm going to use a coffee grinder and a sifting screen and see what I come up with.

Someone suggested canned air because it comes out cold and has some moisture.

get 70 or 90 percent iso alc, yummy

get a coffee filter

grind yer weed, put it in the filter

say you do 1/2 z of bud.
pour maybe 6-10oz of iso in tthe filter with the nug
swirl around
let it drip through the filter and onto a plate of your choice (which itself is in a pan with warm or near boiling water - it helps the iso evap faster while keeping it from going past the temp of boiling h2o)

scrape yer goldie locks with a razor and put it on a bowl of weed
light a birthday candle and celebrate

with iso we want to limit the amount of time it comes into contact with the nug
and we want as little of it as possible so you dont wait around for it to evap

some people use more iso, or expose the nug longer, say, nug+jar+iso >> then coffee filter dump but it isnt necessary to me
exposing the nug longer means you get more nasties like chlorophyll and other plant waxes in your oil.
it really doesnt take too long for THC/etc to solubilize with the iso, it happens fast

if you are worried, you can always save your iso'd nugs and re-run iso through them to get all the oil you can.

after scraping the main oil from all this you can purge it again to make sure all the iso is out
just play with it and warm it up like you had done before with the pan of water
some people dont give a shit to do this, others do, your choice, most iso gets evap'd pretty quick

butane is better but if you dont wanna use it,fine
it's not that dangerous if you aren't extremely careless
just do the evap part outside
with a hot water plate on a winters day itll still evap, and fast as hell.

A spark can come from lots of sources in addition to a lighter. Say an electrical appliance for example...

Please be extremely careful when making BHO, even if you've been lucky enough to avoid accidents in the past. Butane is dangerous because it is so extremely flammable. And accidents happen to others than jackasses too.

Only make it in a well-ventilated area; preferably outside.

I don't care about your life or property but every news report about "exploding cannabis factories" is bad for us all.

Also I'd like an explanation why you think iso washing is more dangerous.

i'd think butane is more dangerous, iso is a liquid at room temperature although some of it does evaporate into gas.

butane on the other hand is a gas in its natural state without being compressed into a liquid. A gas is always more volatile and explosive.

As have been said a few times now get the kif catching grinder preferably a space case and run your bud through as you smoke it out of a clean glass bowl, bong or vape. After you smoke all the bud, you will have a kif catcher full of golden goodness! This kif can be smoked as is or collected and pressed into a nice size chunk of hash.

Theres gotta be some girls that toke around a BC college. Just gotta go for those cute looking alternative girls or the ones that like to party. Both types are even more likely to let you in there pants. You really wanna talk to as many girls as possibly to increase your chances. Just invite them back to your place to smoke some of your fine BC bud. Its easy Yummy, just gotta be cool.

Mine tastes great. like I vaped a hit of kief. So maybe you can't make iso very well? mine is so smooth people think they didnt get a hit til they exhale and see the vapor cloud, no offense but iso hash is nowhere near huffing and its offensive to lump me into the crowd of just "getting fucked up" as I am a med user, and without I would of been gone a while ago.
