Crystals keep stacking up and the lovely "purple" scent is coming out quite nicely and at this rate I just might get to have a early start on my perpetual harvest!!! which wasn't going to be starting until the 3 week of Dec but might happen in the 2nd week!!! Well I wasted presious time reading this thread. He claims all sorts at the start.

If it was titled "I have a great bagseed grow going" and showed the pics and said he hoped it might turn out to be something great, there would have been nothing but support.

But the entire thread is all hype and ego. This plant hasnt even been smoked yet.

I have never once found anything that GHS offers to be consistent with their product descriptions. I have been to A-dam, been to the cup, tried their gear....it was good. Turn around and buy their seeds, and WHAT HAPPENS???!!! It is never even close to what I tried. I understand phenotype variations and searching through seeds to find that gem...but I honestly, have NEVER, and I mean, NEVER found a plant that has been good enough to stay in my garden from GHS. Never.

I am not trying to knock down on GHS. I mean, some people have gotten some great plants. (very few) I personally, never have. Not sure why. The best offering or should I say only consistent offering I have ever gotten from GHS was their White Rhino. Although, I have to say, I found the original (Medicine Man) to be more consistent and a bit more potent.

I can buy 100 GHS seeds, and find MAYBE 8-10 plants worth giving a second run. I can buy 10 seeds from another company, and scratch my head trying to figure out how I am going to have room to keep 3 more girls around....

That and I can't understand why a company would move to a all feminized stock!! Only thing that GHS cares about is money. Not the plant. Not preservation. Not medical patients. Not you. Not me. MONEY. First and foremost. EVERYTHING they do is done with the sole purpose of getting you to give them your money. While I am not faulting them for that, they are a business, and well within their rights to do that exact thing....

I personally will not support them. Not when there are other companies that make 1/5 what they do, and STILL donate to the medical communities, and STILL give many, many, many, many, seeds away all in the name of compassion and getting TRUE medical quality cannabis to those that need it.

Sorry...I just can not give my hard earned money to a bunch of corporate windbags who are only using it to fuel their private jets and further diamond encrust their lifestyle. GHS has nothing more than a bunch of bastard plants (literally, they don't have dads) with slap-sticker names for the sole purpose of sucking you in.

If you prefer to have frosty, albeit not so potent, middies....go for it! Other wise, do some more research, expand your overly-advertised to horizons, step out of line from the rest of the herd....and LEARN SOMETHING....rather than reading a magazine and buying from the one that has the prettiest ads....or the most "cannabis cups"...ehhh hmmmm.

Since I have made my opinion known, and it is TRULY not my desire to bash or belittle any company, I will not be posting anything further, in this thread or any other, about this matter. the wool over your eyes or not, as it takes
that long to grow it from seed and most
seed companies know this and take
advantage of this. Do not forget that ‘the
customer is always right’ and if you do not
feel this with a company before you purchase
the chances are you will not once
you begin with their products!!!!!"

This pretty much says it all. Many of Arjans strains are recreations, some are pheno strains, and most of his females seeds are a result of busness, not care for the customer or the cannabis species. He sells feminised seeds to keep people buying seeds. Feminised seeds are dead end genetics in in my honest opinion. They produce sterile females and are often very unstable when compared to the true line strain.

I presently do not buy seeds, I have kept some very fine lineages going for quite some time now. I find there are very few breeders today which use good ethics in producing quality strains. I know genetics inside out and have seen numerous GHSC seed grows end very poorly. Super Lemon Haze has been known to take on a equatorial Sativa gene expression. Anyone knowing of Equatorial Sativas know they are very poor yielding plants and often look more like stringy weeds rather than cannabis plants. Many of his feminised strains have grownnice, but once cloned take on a mind of their own are often very sensitive to hermie traits.

If I had suggest places with reliable genetics they would be:

Mr. Nice, Shantibaba is a true preserver of cannabis lineages and a very good breeder.

TGA Subcool, Mz Jill is probbly the finest female breeder of our time.

Serious Seeds, Simone is a very fine breeder and uses very good true line genetics

The Real Seed Company, suppliers of some of the worlds very best true inbred lines(IBL) there is. It is said that a couple of the old breeders from the SSSC breeders collective are involved in their operation.

It is best to research and learn genetics and the true lines which were used to create these strains. GHSC has a Train Wreck, I have seen 6 grows and none even compare to my Arcata Train Wreck cuts. Their Lemon Skunk is a joke, I have the Jordan Of The Islands version, GHSC does not even come close. I could go on and on. Places like GHSC, Dtuch Passion, Nirvanna, they have given up ethics in exchange for profits in my opinion. GHSC ethics are what prompted Shantibaba and Neville to change the names of many of their true lines after leaving GHSC.

Just on a final note, the Strain Hunters videos are staged productions and the seeds used in those fields were from GHSC IBL stock. So yes, even the old world landrace of Malawi Gold is a hoax."

It is always cool to watch and wait. Ya know, elite clone onlys are cool, but there is no discovery there. Except the first time growing them.

As far as the haters...Shake em off. We all know that you are excited about your find. I hope you do find a keeper in your plants. That is always rewarding.

I am in the process of seeking a keepr in the seed plants that I popped about a mon or two ago. I am running my first "home bred" cross and of course every time I look at the females I think to myself "the next big thing could be in here" And I really hope it is.

I know you wish you could chenge the title but is almost impossible.

Just realize that there are a few here who will follow your grow even with a misleading title. But ignore the folks coming here and trying to know you. The intelligent folks realize that you were excited when you created the thread and that you realize what you are up against. BUt even if you do find the next super bomb herb, the folks that were hating now, will hate then too. They will say "you didnt make that strain, it was bagseed, yada yada yada.

Just do your thing and do your updates for the folks who will keep up with you whether or not. Ignoring trolls has become a hobby of mine. I dont let em bug me. Just act like their post isnt even there.

So here's a few pics I took during watering this morning on day 38 and I'm fucking positive this bitch is gonna be done in 7 weeks no doubt and that's amazing under CFLs I wonder how she does under HID cuz my Bubba x Deep Chunk turned purp 3 weeks earlier under my 400w HPS so I'm stoked to try this strain in there as long as I get no nanners and it's potent she's staying around for good!

I got 99 problems and a troll aint one...

If, as you believe, you only have one more week on it, it does not look exceptionally high yielding, at least not without LST or SCROG. The node spacing looks pretty wide. It might be an alright outdoor crop. But, where I am, real SD cuts go for a lot of money, and yield relatively low, so "elite cut" and "cash croppers" don't really go together I don't think.

It's really just the statements like that and the title of this thread that irk some of us. Your lack of humility. Guess what? I got close to 500 Romulan seeds from a couple of pounds of outdoor shit today. What would be "elite" about me growing a few out and finding a nice female of a known established strain.

With a week left when do you suppose this purple will come out of hiding?

I had a business partner of mine over and he was sitting here and I showed him this thread and his comment was "I think this guy is mentally challenged and lives with a parent or caretaker because he can't do for himself".

I don't think Thundurkel is truly dense (for a lifetime), I just think that he is young. Maybe late teens or yearly 20's (not older then 23) and thus has a lot of maturing to do.

One thing is that he is getting a lot of growing/learning in hands on at a young age and that may payoff for him in the future. I know that he is closed minded on a lot of things that we have all said in this thread to him, but as I had told him in another post in this thread is to take notes of everything "he feels" is negative towards his growing. Imagine if he did that, just think at all the growing knowledge that we have offered to him within this one thread. If he took all that down and when he slows down and is willing to listen to it and follow it all, this kid could be dangerous in a grow setting.

This is completely off of topic but I wonder what type of work Thundurkel does for a living? I wonder what job allows someone on staff that is so against authority and be so set in your ways that you will challenge EVERYTHING that isn't the way you see it? Just pondering.
