My favorite class to play is the Riot Shield w/ Throwing knife, thumper, flash bangs. I think its a lot more fun than just using the regular weapons
anyone mess with the javelin ahaha Oh man thats fun. just pick a chokepoint across the map where you know the enemy team might be coming from, let off a javelin and half the time you hit someone hahaha. in headquarters i always drop a javelin on the enemies side and i usually get multiple kills.
i got a triple kill yesterday with the AT4 launcher ahaha, they were all trying to capture my flag and i let the rocket off on those idiots hahaa.

does anyone know for a 100% fact how to get the pot leaf emblem?
i read up top it was a 10 kill streak? and that cant be it ive done that multiple times. i read on a google search it was "colaterial damage" done twice in a game, so two bullets killing 4 people.
would really love to get this emblem and it would help if i could focus on what really awards you the pot leaf.

^yea the shower room scene from the rock was pretty cool, i noticed they use alot of movie scenes in COD
its the denial challenge in Elite. You gotta kill someone who is on a 10 kill streak. i remember the dude i killed had killed me like 5 times in a row LOL he was camping and i kept running into him and getting killed. then i crept up and hit him with a headshot and bada bing got my weed leaf.

Hated it....never played packman or any video game till about 4 weeks ago or so.
So, I was playing COD at friends on his ps3 and siad this is'nt bad. Got very interested but did not want to commit to a ps3.
So started to look at a pc option...well, my current system (the one I am typing this on) is like circa 2004....it works for my business needs and more.
Its a P4 1.8GHz with 1 gig and 160 gigs of hardriv running xp on the on-board graphics card.
Lame for anything of modern gaming and just won't do.
Could not justify buying a new one just for gaming....let it go and just play friends.
Well, I go turned on to a ssytem this Thanksgiving...
A ECS P4M8000pto-M v2.0 MOBO with 2 gigs of ddr2 533Mhz and a intel PD950 dual core 3.4 Ghz chip.
I just ordered a 360 gig SATA Western Digital hard drive, a 550 watt power supply and a Geforce 7300 gt agp 8x graphics card to run a 19" tft 1280X1024 monitor.
This should at least rock COD4 from what I have read.
I am hoping it will rock MW2 but more then that I want to rock battlefield bc2.
Your thoughts?

minds_I, IMHO, you'd be better served buying a 360, not only is the online community much better, but then you'll be able to rock MW2. I picked up a MW2 Limited Edition Xbox 360, came with the game, two wireless controllers, and the largest HD Xbox offers (250g), which is only available with this limited edition. Figure the cost of a game (60 bucks), the cost of an extra wireless controller (another 60), all 360's come with only one controller, and the extra large HD, it comes out being a darn good deal. Besides that, you'll DEFINITELY be able to rock MW2 and Battlefield BC2, not to mention DLC that'll be exclusive to 360 for a while before it releases to PS3 or PC.
It's definitely a far cry from Pong, thats for damn sure.

i would look at a better video card minds. i dont think that card will cut it. the nvidia 8800gt should be pretty cheap by now, i have a 9800 gtx which is basically teh same card but a tad better, runs codmw2 great.
video card is very important for games, moreso than anything else which you can skimp on.(in actuality all components are important but your choke there is definately the vcard)

Lol I got the weedleaf but dont ask me how I got it, theres so much bling in this game, but I wouldnt know where to get any info on it as the box came with the worst inset leaf book ever, with about 3 pages in it.
its already been said 100 times..the weed leaf is the DENIER challenge under Intimidation challenges...you gotta kill someone who is on a 10+ killstreak. aka, find the guy hiding in the corner with the laptop.
Just finished the campaign on Veteran, anyone who says it's too short, play it on Veteran, you get shot twice and you're dead.

Level 61. Haven't even done the campaign yet. Rocking the wa2000 with a thermal and silencer on hardcore tdm.

I haven't played in a while due to commitments but there are several tactics for taking out juggs.
1) Cheat. They will not walk over a downed player so down yourself in the door ( you can do this on the plane in snatch and grab if you need time after the airplane by hiding behind the last row of seats ) and stab while your team mate hides behind you and heals as needed.
2) Flashbang out, spin, wait for flash, spin back and slap him, flash again if needed. If panicked you can also fire when flashed so do this if you have a .50 at close range.
3) .50cal. Need i say more. 2 hits to the head and he's down.
4) Run! They are a lot slower than you with all that gear on and can be ran round quite easily if alone.
5) Cover, use cover and dodge line of sight. They will not advance unless they have a clear path. Use cover to slow and annoy them.
6) C4. Works like a charm.
7) Distraction. Have your teammate equip a fast weapon like the pistol and run around a door/building. While he's distracted shooting your teammate he will leave you to aim a clear shot on his head and pop him.
8) On Estate takedown, use claymores as both an early early warning device and to slow them while you run back to the boat house to get a nice line on them. 1 will work but 3 works a treat. There are replacement claymores in the ground floor ammo area if you run short. I believe their are 40 available in total if doing coop.
9) In the favela, the best way to kill them is to run a circuit round the first building you see ahead of you but take out the guy to the right first or he will haunt you. After that just rinse and repeat for all 10 or cheat by using the chest of drawers in the room to the far right after the level starts. You know the one with the little room thats closed off and only has a chest of drawers and no door. Use the other controller if you only have one player. It's easy even using both controllers yourself.
If you have a specific jug you cant do let me know, i've done all of the spec ops juggs now and have an easy tactic for all, even the 15 on the oilrig can be done without being shot once.

damn that spec ops is crazy i think its almost harder than multiplayer haha.
man i LOVE commando. just hide behind a door and shank everyone who runs past hahaha. ive gotten some nice melee kill streaks with commando, marathon, and a silenced assualt rifle.
