whats the difference between regular flu and swine flu anyway?

Its just a "new" flu that the pharma companies are trying to scare us with...saying you dont have any imunesystem to handle this, so you better by the vaccine so we make more money.....

There is nothing with this flu that makes it more dangerous than any other flu, its just a media hype and a way for the companies to make more money... but thats just my opinion..

Hello all, Just to drop in and give a little info on the Auto Afghan that reibeisi grows, Its a cut that i passed out around my part of the province (im in the same province as Reibesi)Its gotten around these parts pretty good since i started the seeds winter of 1996. I acquired the seeds from a freind that was given them .These seeds were not supposed to be passed out of the group of growers that had them but 11 of them leaked to me :) Out of these seeds there was 3 females a #5 (spicy skunky) , # 6 SKUNKY SKUNKY, #99 Spicy, skunky. The #6 is the one Reibesi probably has but the #5 did get spread around some circles as well so its hard to say for sure without me testing it . I ended up sticking with the #6 .
I did make seeds from these back in 96 and have created another strain in 1998 with a NL/Skunk from amdam (mid 90's not sure which seed company). The auto affie is a local strain that was being grown localy for a few years .Along its lifetime it had a skunk #1 added into it from amdam early 90's, and a said tray of clones acquired from Ontario mid 90's that were believed to be mighty mite. This is when the auto flower traits were introduced i would say. The Growers around here that created the strain call it Hasha or hash weed. I wanted to take any heat off my freind that snuck out the seeds to me so i changed the name to afghan because at that point i also hear there was afghan genetics in the strain . I had bought this weed for a few years before aquiring the strain and was AFter the strain when i got it .
So more than likely anyone growing this strain around here calling affie or afghan is growing one of my cuts , if it s being called hasha, well its probably from the other group growing this strain. THat group has inbred it every summer as they grow all from seed every year and has changed the strain drasticly since mid 90's.
I hope this helps explain a little about the auto affie from New Brunswick
Peace

Does "Iranian short season" has anything to do with auto-affie?
It sounds similar, and I was thinking maybe someone has gone commercial with affie...

I was also wondering if the Doctor got his hands on the auto affie ,as the iranian short season looks just like it , bud structure and plant structure , I was speaking to the doctor and he says it is A endless sky worked strain, I am going to order the Endless sky and Iranian short season and try them both, supposed to be very potent.Iam thinking on adding them into y breeding as the ES is supposed to be very potent and very stable

NB trichgrower, thanks for your very interesting story. I love to hear old cannabis lore....kind of stirs a bit of nostalgia in me. In your sig, you mention the strains you are 'breeding' Most people that are 'breeding' intend to distribute their results. Is that your intention with these strains, and can I get in line? :joint: This looks like an excellent and Proven outdoor plant, and I would absolutely love to add these genes to my mix. Thanks man, and thanks for your post.

Yeah i get the same kinda feeling s listening or reading stories of strain s and heritages etc. I wish i knew exactly what was in the genes of the AA , but i have heard stories over the years that i told in my post . I do not know the breeder but we do know of each other around these parts . If i am ever to sit down with him in the future i will get it in more fine details .
I would like to get in the market somewhat with some of my strains eventually. But before I ever charge anyone i will deffinatley have to do some tests and have some others also do some tests .
I will keep you updated , and may do a thread when the AA becomes a male and starts to shed pollen , i may do a grow report on the breeding procedure . Time will tell

Ok I just get a email from the guy that is giving me the cut and it is rooted and ready to ship. But I decided to go ahead and wait till after christmas in case it gets held up on the cold tarmac somewhere waiting for the plane to leave.

So it is shipping a week from today wooohoooo.....:gift:

This cut is half of the plan when I get the other half i'll post up my planned project.

I never got the cut because the guy dropped off the face of the earth.

But I got a email from him today we are still on and it should go out soon. The one he was going to send was he thought mis marked and instead he just tossed it and took more cuttings.

So with good karma I should have it soon.

My Auto Afghan Kush ( I assume this is the one your talking about ) just started to autoflower at three and a half weeks. Her flowers are still small so I will wait a few days before posting pics.
So I'm left to assume that some of these autoflower and some do not. Not yet fully stabilized on the auto gene.

Hey there ACB its called Auto Affie , Auto Affy, Auto Afghani but it is not a true Autoflower strain. It stays in veg under 22 or more hours of light and can be cloned. The guy called it that because whenever or whatever time of year it was it flowered.

I like this idea better then using Lowryders in the breeding process. Because you can clone it and most people I am guessing or think usually veg there AF's 22 or more hours and then drop them to 18/6 when sexed or say a month in anyway. So if you had a stealth cab or computer micro grow you just don't let the veg long. But if you do have space they can be vegged longer for bigger plants.

What would be nice is having plants like these that have a less likely chance to hermie because of a light leak or a forgotten porch light. I think the hermies we see today are mainly caused by the stress of the plant changing its nature when it flowers based on age instead of light.

So does that mean your talking about a different strain, or does it mean that I am one of the few that was lucky enough to get one that did/is autolfowering?
