Day 40 of 12/12

Here's a shot at the canopy level, with a lighter to give
an indication of size. The c99a11's are the center 2 plants.

and here's another from above. These C99A11's will be getting crowded
out soon, but they're just about done now anyway. I might get to 7 weeks,
but I don't know about 8. I may harvest one early and one later.

#1cheesebuds: I use 4 42 watt cfls across the top, for a total
of 168 watts over about 2 square feet of space.

#1cheesebuds: Thanks for the enthusiasm! 168 watts
is all I can seem to keep cool (and quiet) enough in this
size space. But that's 84 watts/sq ft which turns out to be
plenty of light as long as flowering tops are within 4-5
inches of the bulbs. Training them with sturdy twists
and/or screens right from the 2nd week of veg through
about the 3rd week of flowering is how I control their
height and also that distance.

Dimebagg: Thanks for taking a look. Growing this small
it's pretty much all about the canopy.

:)

Very very nice bro, must be smelling nice in the cab. Nice work with 168w of CFL's, great stuff.
Happy Gardening All.
Peace.

Hey b00m, thanks and yeah the cab smells sweet...
shouldn't be too long now.

Here's a shot that shows an advantage of training with
a screen instead of just tying down. The screen gives
greater uniformity and density in small tight spaces.

Makes sense; the screen holes are uniform and narrow at ~1 inch holes. So keeping new growth tucked under forces the canopy closer together, and improves yield. ScrOG is ideal for micro. More work than tying down, but worth it. Nice work!
