Black Dominia??

Came across this clone at a local club and picked it up. Never heard of it before but they guys raved about it.

Anyone ever grow this strain here? Can you tell me about its tendancies, needs and wants?

Its been in flower for 3 days now and Im thinking of cutting a lower branch to veg if it turns out it is a pretty good stain and Pheno.

It's from Sensi Seeds, one of their more expensive strains.
I've never grown it, but have had my eye on it for a while.
Would be nce to see how it turns out for you.

this is the best i can do from memory. I wish i took pictures back then... i was paraniod about it then but its a different era now.

I grew the BD for about a year and a half straight. Definitly lives up to its description. Super knock-out. All the buds form in tight clusters that don't always make a huge cola but they are rock hard. The main cola can get medium size. Its a very light green plant too, so dont get concerned that you're light on N. In flowering expect the leaves to stay green until week 5 or 6 and then you might lose a few. Large calyxes as i remember. Very resinous on the buds, but does not coat the fan leaves. i grew her in soil, 3 gal bags until about 18 - 24 inches and finished at about 4 ft (not including grow bag). Also, i got mights multiple times when i had her and she was very resistant. I had a few other strains that didnt do well at all during that time.

thats all i know. I got mine originally from cutting so it was a good pheno to begin with but i havent ever heard anyone of going wrong with the Domina for NIGHTTIME smoke

the person i got it from is still growing it to this day... maybe 4 years now.

I have 9 seeds in a cup of water right now, accidentally crushed the 10th. I feel like the one that got crushed would have been the spear cola top phenotype. I home I get that phenotype so I can clone the shit out of it and sleep for once.

Smoking some right now. It's ok. I wouldn't call it the strongest indica I've ever seen, but I like it. And who knows how this cut was grown... etc. Also picked up at a local club.

I thought the sweet tooth I picked up on the hill was better tasting and just as strong, but I do like this BD. Slept pretty well last night.

we bought a pack a few years ago.. germ'd a couple/few seeds, got 1 female.. smoke was 'ok'... def not knockout weed

last year we germ'd another few seeds, looking for the 'ortega pheno' which others say is tall n lanky and the 'knockout' pheno. our 1st lady was short and wide, with huge fan leaves

we got two ladies , both look exactly the same, both were tall n lanky, good resin coverage, but in our view the smoke was no better then our first try.

thats our experience with BD...

In Spain one of the most famous cuts over the country is Black Domina cut called clon Valencia´98. Very sweet and fruity taste and powerfull relaxing effect. Rockhard buds.

This clone is used (reversed sts) by some spanish pirate fem seedsellers with success in spanish market.

Also a friend has grown sensis BD and its one of his favourites.
Definitly Black Domina is a great strain

I grew the BD fora couple of years. It will knock you out. It will come out with various phenos also. Great SOG plant for a small space. That was in 96 that I picked it up so it has been a while.

WOW...... thats all I can say! Thank you for the many responses! Im really looking forward this one! She was about 10 inches when I got her. She has 3 big branches and the main stock. Really great looking cutting. Ill take a pic when I get home around 9pm pst.

Deffinately looks to be a bit lanky right now, But good lanky with a ton of nodes up and down her branches.

Ive never cloned MJ before, but have a ton of experience cloning house plants (rubber trees and the like). Gosh I think Im gunna have to build a mother cab tonight a take a cutting from her before it gets to far into flowering. Only been 3 days so far.

Now Im gunna be clock watching the rest of the afternoon! thaks guys!!!

It seems to be a very rare strain around here so Im sure she'll give the go ahead.

Check back tonight or tomarrow and the link should be in my sig. Ive also got 1 of each, a GDP, Green Krack, Platnum OG Kush and a Purple Diesel in 2.5 gallon pots filled with FFOF. All these came from my local club.

I know Sweet Seeds has Black Domina (S.A.D.) in a fem version made from a pre 1998 Domina that has caught my eye. Planning on giving it a whirl next season.

I´ve tested her in and outdoors, most are on the sweet and fruity side, a good potency, relaxing effect, similar to the caracteristics of the clone it comes from as I´ve read about it.

In my previous post u have a link to Clon Valencia´98 smoke report used in SAD. I liked SAD, but would probably prefer the original clone if i could get my hands on it
