Jimmy, I would seriously consider taking Chimera up on his recommendation.
Mixes coming from top shelf programs yield some of the best there is. No better place to find something nobody else has.
I would add Ace to a list of other top shelf mixes, although I haven't grown any of their gear as of yet..but I do have two packs of their mixes to look through.
Mandala safari mix is not to be missed as well. Lots of kindness in a single pack.
Supporting breeders who support the forum is also a decent thing to do.

I smoked the BC roadkill form canncopia that more then one person mentioned, very tasty and STINKS

I would love something like that, but I'm not set up with any sort of filtration right now. Plus I've never had any experience with anything that has a strong odor like that, so I don't even really know how stinky it is. I've read that it can get pretty intense.

yeah, the Chimera mix is at the top of my list right now. How in the world do you figure out which strain you're growing though? do you match from pictures the best you can or just smoke in blind bliss?

lol...well, even when you know what strain you are growing, it can throw a pheno that is different from the others. Most often, actually.

Look at it this way...why know a name? I mean, if you have a mix that is just a selection of seeds from a breeders experimental work, you may well find something that is delicious and rings your bell. And you could coin the plant as your own, and tag it as your continuation of Chimera's (or whomever's) work.
Other packs that have specific strains in it can easily be identified once they are grown and shown. Most of the previous growers of these tend to know them intimately.
The name thing is a novelty anyway, more for marketing and identity than anything.

excellent answer. A mystery grow sounds fun actually. I think I'm convinced of a mixed pack at least. Now to decide from who.

man there is a ton of breeders which have competitively priced there products...

- i seen that chimera chimed in and says his mixed pack is $30, your bound to find some keepers there...his help desk is flooded with porn!

- Nirvana from personal experience with: White Widow(my favorite nirvana strain), white rhino, master kush...can all be bought for $17 a 10 pack and what i think is the best seed deal you can buy!

-Mandala - has great genetics for cheap

- CH9 - great female seeds for cheap....Ive grown them for a year straight never a hermi....not once!

- Motarebel - I think meduser sells his gear, and i think these are TRUE MEDICAL QUALITY strains....Growing his Herijuana right now! But just about everything mota puts out is out of this world and probably the most underated breeder around!

- Joey Weed - His C99 x NL is bomb ass smoke, and can yield!

and the list can go on for days! Sh*t if it were me, and it was at one point, Id buy 4 pacls from breeder i just listed and im sure you can get over 40-50 quality seeds for $100 shipped! plus im sure you will get some freebies along the way! Good luck

awesome, I'll check those links out for sure.

I've never actually ordered seeds myself. Is the prefered method to just buy a money order and send in a written order? Or I was thinking of maybe getting a pre-paid credit card from walmart?

Its very easy to order. Use an international money order available at any US post office. It cost about $3 or so. Fill out the order form and mail in. I get confirmation typically within 7 days and have the beans in hand 14 days after sending the money. Depending on where you are ordering from a pre-paid credit card might also be a good option.

Nirvana used to be cheaper. But they're the killer for the prices. I run a pheno of their papaya that i got about 2 years ago and it's completely amazing, and just the very best of the awesome 2-3 phenos i got. I recommend it.

$48 SOL adventure mix at the bay currenlty with the blue satellite father, should be a world class treasure hunt.

If I could find the Chimera mix for $30 I would buy a few, where can we find it for 30 Chimera?

Anything Joey Weed

Cannacopia seem to have good strains, reviews and great prices.

$28 Sensis White Label Double Gum, check out Chromes thread on his hunt for the perfect bg from one pack. I believe BOG based his seedline on working with this strain as well. Make some f2's for some real fun.

$30 Flying Dutchmen THE PURE. The original sweet skunk #1 leaning more towards the Acapulco Gold euphoric up side and less towards the roadkill and cheese Afghani side. Proven to cross well with everything and supper easy to grow.

$45 Flying D Aurora B- The pure father with crossed with the northern lights clone mother. Bigger yield and heavier hitting than the Pure.

$28 Female seeds X-line Bubble Gummer. All the Xlines are this cheap, but the bubble gummer has some great reviews on their forum section.

Lots of good strains to be had with a flexible max of $50:) You could also check out Female Seeds - unfortunately their grapefruit is not in stock yet but how about Ice, Iced grapefruit, skunk special etc?
You can get them in 4 or 10 packs - iced grapefruit and their other x-lines only in 5 packs.
Reasonable pricing.

Or wait until December when The White/Sour Diesel is released by Rezdog for @40.

Lots of options :) And with the budget just a little bit higher even more.

I've never heard anyone complaining about Chimera's work, but many people have been praising it so if you're willing to try a mix-pack as he suggested I'm sure you're gonna grow some great weed. I'm not a mix-pack grower myself - would rather shell out just a little bit more because I like to know the strain if I find something that truely stands out - got my eyes on GF*BB, and would love to try Calizahr too. Heck would love to try all of them;p

Yeah I read that Rezdog thread and thought about waiting, but his seeds seem to be very coveted. With my luck I'd wait for the launch only to have them sell out anyway.

The GFxBB has my attention to. If you ever try a run, I'd love to see some photos.
