why did you have to go and kill it...why not just a live trap....it's easier, and cleaner, too.
What u need to do is seal all ports of entry!!!Any hole they can get into.Under sinks where the pipes come in, outside where there are any holes. They make a foam that works great because it expands,i know i had the suckers for a week.Havent seen any in over a year.:kitty:Or get a stinky lazy cat.Lol

I've killed plenty of mice with my chefs knife...not so messy imo. They are pretty ''dry'' on the inside. Just a small spot of blood and a severed head

when I was about 12 yrs old, I chased a rat out of the house into the backyard, I had the rat cornered and killed it with a machete, it wasn't pretty even if it does not leave a pool of blood, and surely nothing someone who does not like mice and rats want to see and clean up.
another time I got one with a wooden mini baseball bat, hit the poor thing on the head breaking its skull badly...
nowdays I don't even kill the roaches, I just take them outside.

sparkjumper, i'm serious man, besides, the only roaches that find their way into where I live are garden roaches, there are no nests inside the house, and the house is kept real clean all the time.
rodents are food for tons of other animals anyway, a lot can be born, but many end up as a meal for something else. same with garden roaches, some birds eat those a lot.

it's a futile exercise to try to kill all the rodents around you, much easier to just live trapthem and seal your house up, better for the environment too. we dont need any more human tampering with the ecosystem, small or large if we can help it!

p.s.s. Have ya'll ever seen a cat kill a mouse? It is usually a long drawn out process, where the cat lets mousie escape over and ov er till cat gets bored and then crunch! I think the electric mouse trap more humane than what kitty will do....lol

make sure you keep your seeds safe i lost thousands of turkish seeds to them,,,, i wouldnt mind i relocated the seeds after the first wave to somewhere i thought they would never get and the furry little bastard still managed too get at them an now there is nothing left part from empty shells

Oh, and I screamed when I opened the trap and there was a dead mouse in it. I wasn't expecting to have caught one, I thought the batteries were dead. That made me scream! Yikes! Dead corpse!
The trap is like a box, so I open the lid, and get a nasty surprize! hahahaha
I have stepped on a live mouse with bare feet. I will get em any way I can. I ain't skeered of no mouse.
