I met carefree many times several years ago, and we know his wife from when they lived out in the desert with his brother. Sad to here he passed away. Those guys grew some bomb weed when I knew them, and after reading this thread, I see was still at it big time. He was a nice guy and his family had some of the best stash in the upper desert.

RIP carefree

Sour Bubble Bx3 x Sour Bubble Bx4

We had one Sour Bubble plant make it this year, and she was a beauty... Very fat leaves as a youngin, she was a tufty plant with adequate branching and thick floral clusters... :D

In the flowers being tested, moisture level is medium to high, with bracts slightly stretching when pulled... The sample is not too moist, though, it is right where it needs to be to achieve optimum resin flavor and burning temperature.

Flowers have been cured for 3+ months. Seed content in the sample is none, although there are a few seeds found on this plant.

Tested with a clean 4-5 inch long glass spoon pipe and a zippo lighter.

Test flowers have a strong sharp, slightly sweet smell. The resin smells fresh still and when broken, the flowers emit a sharp skunk-onion aroma...

Flower Density is 8/10

When lit the smoke is surprisingly mellow, and smooth, very agreeable. Sharp with a slight sweetneess, but mostly light spice and skunk mixture... These tastes are mainly in the pallet and less in the tongue, and they last for a long time.

Flowers are dense, and they burn slow and cool. This helps bring out the resin flavor.

Trichome coverage 10/10

Effect is relaxing; indica and heady. A little goes a long way.

Potency 9/10

Overall 9/10 KEEPER!

Burns LONG.... :smoke:

Just finished up a Lifesaver and SB bx3 x bx4 grow and can attest to everything pipeline said. Wonderfully strong smoke and some nice purple colors from this one. The LS was a better producer and a slightly less numbing effect from the smoke.

Both are incredibly good and I am very gracious that Southwind entrusted me with these beans as they are priceless to me. Hoping all is well in your world SW and am very sorry to hear the news regarding Carefree1. Both lads are ini my prayers. :badday:

I've been considering making use of some seeds I have from a Bogglegum grow a couple years ago. As I remember it was quite good, fast flowering, but alot of hermies.

Sour Bubble~~!!!!

Sour Bubble~~!!!!

Some SourBubble from SW! This is some SB that was grown in soil using PBP, Liquid Karma, and molasses. She pushes out some small, frosty buds that are a pleasure to smoke. Low temps caused this plant to become more purple than expected but assume that the purple is a usual trait of this bud.

This bud stiiiiinks.... in a good way~! ;)

Thanks SW~!!! :good:
