HD sells a product called tanglefoot that is some sticky crap you put on the base of your plants on the stalk to act as a barrier. I learned about that stuff one time when the ants gave me a gift of scales.
I gave that cherry ak to someone but can get cuts I guess. JK

Yo Subrob-

Ok, This GDP is crazy looking. By far the biggest colas in the room. I picked these up like 6 weeks ago from PNC. I have done as many searches as I can for full plant shots and can't really find a good reference pic. I am also seeing a lot of yellowing on this girl. All of the other cuts in the room are totally dialed. Have you had to run additional PK or CalMag to keep her from dropping fans? Either way, these GDPs(???) are going to be huge. Far from what we where talking about a few weeks ago(slow to veg, modest yield). What day can I expect to see these girls start to turn purps?

I can only grow 6 plants per letter If I do not get a tree with intense flavor/strength it dies. I run GM1000's which makes it too expensive to run with small structured plants. JK

Spicoli and others RE: coloration of cannabis. Here is a link that breaks it down. Hope it helps

as far as trainwreck goes, Mine does have purple stems, both of them. It is legit Trainwreck also, though I do not know what cut. It crystals up within the first 3 weeks. The bottom nugs look more crystally than the tops. It looks like a 9 weeker. Smells kinda like widow. You can see them here they are the two tallest on the left in this picture. One in the front and one in the back. You can save it to your PC and Zoom in. I have been holding them up with strings <-------- the reason they call it trainwreck is not cause of what it does to your head, it's from what it does to your growroom-true story!

Doco, I am envious on both those crosses. The GG X AK48 is going to be huge I am thinking. And the flavor on that Cindy/grapefruit haze should be off the chain, not to mention the up.

@Jeff and Humble - Thanx for the words of encouragement. Always means alot comming from guys like you.

@Greents - I am not sure which MasterKush cutting it is. I picked all these cuttings up from a collective in San Diego when I had no place to go for good cuttings. This is why aside from the occasional cutting, I try to buy most of my stuff through PNC.

@ricksiri - Looks the same as my cut of TW congrats.

@Fader Vador- Wow dude that looks extremely feirce. Grats on that!

@Caligreen - Hey dude, Is that Green Ice a cross of Alaskan ice X green Crack?

@ Humble, Be honest - Hows that trimmer working out for you?
Any faulty cuts? Is it much faster?

mito- Imagine being able to use 30 pairs of scissors at the same time without getting carpel tunnel. This my friend is the phenomenon of The TrimBox. Yes, I am fully endorsing this product because it just saved me 10 hours of knuckle cracking labor, seriously. The buds look as good as any.

Also...I'm seeing trace of whitefly. I have some straight pyrethrin which I'll probably bust out soon but was also thinking about doing sticky cards and / or no-pest strips. Does anyone have any input on those things.

Peace

Bravo!

Bravo!

Nice work, G-Tech. Those are looking quite good for only 5 weeks in. That Black Dom is gonna be a knockout! I must say, your Hog's Breath is looking much better than my soon-to-be-culled HB imposter. Same cut as you had before? And, your structure looks denser than before...indoor?

Its kinda odd, that's twice today I heard friends mention whiteflies...or maybe its just their season? Either way, you don't want them screwing up your work!

Always start with biological predators first as they are the least toxic to consume because odds are you won't be consuming any of them.

Google: ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7400 website for best methods.

Increase you ventilation. Whitefly hate air circulation.

Syringing
The use of a strong stream of water directed to the undersides of infested leaves (syringing) can be very effective in managing giant whitefly. Comparison studies with several pesticides indicate that syringing performed as well or better than chemical treatments. With high whitefly populations, syringing is recommended at least once a week. As populations decrease, intervals can be lengthened to once every 2 or 3 weeks. An additional advantage of syringing is improved plant appearance. Moreover, unlike insecticide sprays, water syringing will not have the negative impact on biological control programs.

ya, ive said it once and ill say it again.. The BR PNC has isnt BR, looks spot on in veg, like identical to the real bullrider.. But once you start flowering her, it doesnt take long to realize it aint her.. The P91 however is very legit, and the real deal stinky P. The g13widow is real nice too.. I had her, but didnt have the space so i passed her on to a friend, and he absolutely loves it.. I think he has more of her flowering in his garden right now than any other strain.

Cool about the G13xWidow. So how is it's growth characteristics? Mine is 2' tall using T-5's got a nice amount of new shoots that are growing out nicely not to long and lanky but seems just right and 2 days ago went under high power 18/6 veg in DWC set-up for 2 to 3 more weeks. The P-91 is now a mini 1.5' bushy wh@re and my C-99 is I guess doing just fine not bushy or tall.

After reading some more of these posts about PM and how everybody says to isolate them and treat/spray them etc... and that PM is supposed to be dormant and just waiting for the right conditions in order to manifest itself into the nemesis that it is. I got to thinking now when I get a new clone and the PM is dormant then I should isolate it in my veg box and make the conditions right for PM to form. If the clone is not infected with PM then it will never show up no matter how much humidity or temp swings that I throw at it?

I went through a lot of trouble even for my wood working skills to design and build a isolation/veg box. My 3' tall veg box is sealed except for the Hepa filters on the in / out vents. I use small computer fans to push and pull air through the filters and I made a window on the front door with a piece of Plexiglas sealed around the edges with caulking and a water tube for refilling the DWC bucket( air pump is in the box also). That way I don't have to open it (contamination prevention) to add water or to even look at it.
Another feature is that it's at another location that is clean where no other growing goes on and no hanging out with PM contaminated friends who may bring over PM contaminated buds . So no chance of contaminating it when I do have to open it which is maybe be once a week. After PM messed up my first run earlier this year I told myself never again if I can prevent it. So far so good.

This is what the bullrider looked liked when harvested
